But there is a plot twist to this review~I don't know what it is with Korean owned auto-related business in America but all the Korean owned body/car shops I have encountered has the word $CAM written all over. By the way....That $ in $CAM is not a typo. I came to Vermont Collision to get an estimate on how much it was to replace my front bumper + fender. Due to the car being very old, I didn't want to invest more money into fixing the car out of my own pocket because I was planning on selling the car soon;also I was given a tight budget from the opposing party's insurance company. I didn't want to go over the amount given so we asked the owner to give us an estimate around the budget price range. My family member did most of the talking due to a slight langauge barrier with the body shop owner. OVERALL, during our conversation, there was no argument, hurting each others feelings etc etc with us & the owner of this body shop--BUT the owner did not want to provide service to us due to my family member asking numerous questions & any updates that were asked spread out in ~7 days timeframe. Yes, it can be annoying if a customer asks numerous questions but it's 2026 & this shop STILL doesn't know the importance of customer service. I would understand if profanity was exchanged or if my behavior was out of its norm, but he had NO LEGITIMATE reason to deny service. Not only did they not want to provide service to us but the estimate he provided us only specifies fender replacement + overpriced body & paint labor charge *~CHARGES ON ESTIMATE~* the owner specifically told my family member he will NOT be repainting my car due to severe paint peeling; instead, he is only planning on applying COATING over the peeled paint but on the estimate, he charged for paint AND paint supply BY THE HOUR... who the f**ck does that..? Paint I would understand if its charged by the hour but coating should be flat-rate ‍ . paint & coat are two different categories. I'm work in healthcare and know the bare minimum about cars & I even know that ‍. Upon picking up my car, the owner & his worker greated us sitting down with a half-a$$ bow & told us our car was parked in their back-parking lot. The outside of the car was super dirty and upon starting my engine & starting the AC, the car had a very foul unpleasant smell. IN CONCLUSION-Scam-save your time & money stay away from this place You're welcome in advance Google reviewers & to the new body shop owners reading other shops review. I know nothing about cars and Josie will take the time to explain things to you, show you what's happening and what they have to do. I initially came here to fix up my bumper because it started falling off. Josie took the time to show me what was wrong, turns out the clips on my old bumper was cut off and the bumper was glued on (by another auto body shop years back -_-). She worked with my schedule since I have to go into the office and they were able to replace the bumper in the same day and even cleaned my car! They're super helpful with all of my questions too. Pricing here is fair and reasonable. Though my repairs aren't crazy, they have been scratches and just paintwork, I'm still happy with the pricing and service. I'm always out the door with my car fixed up in about 2-3 days. More like 4.5 star for me. Also this might not be the body shop you are looking for, depend on what you want. For me, this was the only Body shop with reasonable pricing, kind and helpful. I went to 6 different bodyshops around the town, for bumper and side body scratches. Most expensive quote was $1600, cheapest was $700. $700 one was not a body shop, it was a person who would come and fix my car. But he seemed irresponsible for his words. This place was below $1000. I am sure 1600 one would have gave me some discount, after some tiring negotiations. Vermont Auto Body doesn't give you "factory" condition, unless you replace the part. If you are very keen on details and know about automotive surfacing, you will catch small dent / low spots on surface after they finish your car. But it absolutely looks fine with shiny new paint in most of cases. Within budget, I think this place does best job and customer service is really nice. If you find a spot you don't like, they do their best to be responsible about it. read more

I'm a sheet metal mechanic with local 85 in Atlanta, Georgia I had some minor work I needed on my car so I went to Vermont to get an estimate. I had also recently pulled too close to a tow Dolly on the back of a truck which picked my grill in slightly so I pulled off the Mercedes Center cap so I could pull the grill back in place but I was exhausted and it was dark so I just put center cap in car and asked Vermont about repairing the grill too . They tried to over charge me. The girl said my Benz grill wasn't like a Honda and required a lot of work to repair, removing all the clips, blah blah blah Nope, it all snapped right back in place. I was so disappointed because they were recommended by a good friend. Please be careful!!! You will pay $500 for something you can easily do yourself if you don't know better. Completely dishonest, so sad! Needless to say I will just have my car detailed here in LA and allow my guys in Atlanta to make the necessary repairs needed when I return home from my assignment here in LA. read more

I own a 2005 Nissan 350z, which I cherish a lot, so when the trim on the door started to pop off, i tried a couple things myself but nothing would stay, so I found this auto body place right around the corner for my apartment that seemed to know and service many Nissans I decided to give em a call and see if they could help. Anyway, a woman answered the phone and was extremely accomodating and let me come in, and when I did come in she quoted me a lot less than I had been expecting and also told me the reason the trim popped off in the first place. She informed me it was a family business and they'd been in service for 40+ years so I put a deposit down and they ordered my piece. About a week later piece comes in and they let me drop the car off and in about an hour and a half my cars all perfect, even washed it for me. There were a few grease marks and the arm rest was loose, and when I brought back the car, Sandy and the workers were super gracious about fixing the issue. She calmly explained a few things about resetting the alarm and encouraged me to speak to her for any concern. I don't normally write reviews, in fact this is my first one. I had to write one though because they were pretty amazing. I took my accord in for a bumper repair on Monday and got it back on Wednesday. Thought it would take at least a week but to my pleasant surprise it only took a day and a half. Even better, my bumper looked brand new! I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell between the repaired bumper and a new one. The cherry on top was that they also fixed up my jacked up license plate and frame as well which is isolated of the accident. From the estimate to the return of the car, Sandy and Josie were extremely accommodating, particularly with the situation I was in with the other driver. They were professional, helpful and super friendly as well. Although, I hope I don't have to do any more future repairs, I do find solace in the fact that I can rely on Vermont Auto Body. I mentioned my bumper was still a tiny bit not-fully-molded-in-yet last year. They said give it some time. After a year, it looked like it was getting worse. Turns out the valet guys at my workplace put a screw into my new bumper and painted it to blend into my car color, because they probably bumped my car and didn't want to tell me. Vermont found this screw and showed me pictures taken after the repair showing that they didn't screw it in. They also explained what repercussions it had. They still fixed my bumper and refused to take my money when I offered after confirming it wasn't their fault. Consistently good service. read more

I came In to get an estimate for my 2002 Ford Focus,which had a busted hood. I was told by the young lady that my car was a total loss and should sell it as junk . She gave me an estimate of 3000 to have it fixed, but then told me to come back the next day to get a better estimate from her boss. I ran away from those prices and never looked back. I found a different collision center, which gave me a much better estimate. I found out that all I needed replaced was my hood and a new radiator support. Don't give me a terrible estimate especially if you have no clue what needs to be done. Took my business elsewhere and saved over 2k. read more

First ever Yelp review and it's because the service here is so exceptional. I brought my vehicle here on a sunny Saturday, shortly before my lease was over and I had to turn in the car. Sandy inspected the car and gave me an estimate off the bat that was hundreds lower than the other estimates I had received. Not only that but she took the time to explain the process of each repair. Not only that but when she heard that I had not yet had my inspection, she suggested I hold off to see what the inspector had to say, just in case he didn't require some of the repairs. I can't remember the last business that was so customer-focused that they hurt their potential bottom line in favor of the customer! Thank god she made that suggestion because the inspection turned up fewer required repairs than I expected. So much so that I didn't need Sandy's services after all. When I called Sandy to tell her the good news, she offered further sage advice on the lease return process for my specific brand of car and what to watch out for. Who provides that level of customer service these days? I guess Vermont Auto Body does. Any future needs I have for auto body repair, they are my first and only stop. I am so used to dealing with people who try to rip me off and make me overpay for service that I was stunned when Sandy gave me an extremely reasonable price that was in the ballpark of what I was looking to pay! She and her team are extremely knowledgable and take the time to really figure out the issue and give you the best quote possible. I brought the car in on Wednesday and had it back by Friday.
