I got a Groupon deal for the one highlight/bayalage, haircut and hydrating mask treatment. I honestly got it because it was a great deal and since I'm a SAHM, I try to be conscious on spending. Plus, it allow me to try a new salon. Rocco is amazing and awesome. He listened to me ramble on about my special needs kiddo and he was just wonderful to chat with. I told him to do whatever he thought would work with my hair. I don't do much with my it, just wash and air dry. Since I'm low maintenance, he did it to where it would be fine to get it done next year so I don't have to get it done as often. I absolutely love the way it came out!! It's so pretty! Today was my second visit to this salon. I usually go once a month for a straightforward root touch-up. My first appointment with Alexandra went great. When I tried to book her again, she was unavailable, so the system assigned me to Nicole at the same $110 price. I arrived five minutes early. A different girl (who appeared to be a trainee) took me without introducing herself. The owner, Eric, only stopped by from time to time to tell her what to do next--he did not perform the service himself. She applied color to my roots but missed some areas. Eric suggested adding a toner to help blend, and I agreed. She then washed my hair poorly--barely touching my scalp and not fully rinsing the product or color. After the 8-minute toner, they started the blow-dry (Eric did one half, she did the other). They then had to rewash half my hair because color was still on my scalp. The final result was uneven: one half looked fine, but the half she did was frizzy and puffy at the roots. At checkout the cashier immediately charged the card they had on file from my last visit and sent me on my way--no discussion and no chance to tip. Later I received an email receipt for $250. They had changed the service from root touch-up to "full color" and listed Eric as the stylist who serviced me. This is incorrect: * The service I received was still a root touch-up, exactly like my first visit, with only a toner added. Even with the toner, the price should not have increased by $140. * Eric did not service me--he only gave occasional instructions to the trainee. * I booked a $110 root touch-up with a different stylist. * Their website and booking platform list no full-color service for $250. The actual prices are toner $75, root touch-up $110, and full color $157-$200. When I called to complain, the receptionist first said the owner claimed it was full color. I told her that was false and that I have the booking confirmation. She then said I needed more color because of thick hair. I pointed out it was the same hair I had last month for a root touch-up. She apologized but said there was nothing she could do. I have filed a dispute with my bank. I feel scammed and disrespected. They owe an apology for the low-quality service by a trainee, mishandling my booking, falsely listing the owner as my stylist, and overcharging me. read more

Let me tell you, she is Amazing and Fantastic etc...She made my hair look incredible and I felt so great afterwards. Also, I have scalp issues with sensitivity and so forth and she was so kind and gentle with making sure any bleach or toner didn't touch my scalp but at the same time got as close as she could to the root and her hands and expertise felt angelic. I've been going to Nicole since 2016 and followed her to Agence when she moved there years ago. I can't say enough good things about Nicole! She has great communication, keeps expectations realistic, and always delivers! And I say that as someone with naturally black hair who lives to be blonde...and then wants go dark again...and back to blonde lol. I've gotten haircuts, highlights, extensions, and everything in between. Agence is also a great salon - everyone is always nice and the vibes are always very chill. The decor is very chic. Nicole is my girl and she is AMAZING!! I have been going to her for a little over a year now. She somehow knows exactly what I color/style I want/need even when I have a hard time articulating it (usually a color in the copper/brown/gold family). She is an excellent communicator and clearly explains what we are going to do to my hair to achieve my desired goals. I have total trust in her! She makes sure the color always looks good with my skin tone, curl pattern, and even when it is straightened. The fade out process is easy. It always fades beautifully. She also ensures to maintains my hair health while also making my hair color look fabulous and beautiful. I have curly hair so this is especially important to me! I also have a very sensitive and tender scalp, I love that she notices this and doesn't get aggressive during the shampoo/conditioner process. My scalp will literally bleed if someone is even the slightest bit rough while washing my hair. With Nicole, I don't have to worry about this. I am very comfortable during the hair washing process. If I get the itch to do something drastic to my hair, she is so sweet and kind about setting realistic goals with my hair health in mind. I like how she usually blow dries the front part of my hair first and makes sure I am happy with the color before continuing. It's always a great time and laugh while in the chair. She is also very accommodating with my appt needs. She is great at setting multiple appts within the next couple months to maintain my color and keep me on track. This is great so I know what to expect and can plan alongside my busy schedule. The salon itself has friendly staff when checking in. I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. From the moment I arrived, the stylist was rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. Instead of greeting me respectfully, she spoke to me sarcastically and even questioned whether I could "afford" the service, repeating several times that "not everyone can afford to come here honey." This was completely unnecessary and very disrespectful. I was originally quoted $300-$400 for two hair pieces to be lightened, with no color, trim, or additional services included. When I arrived, the price suddenly increased to over $700, and I was told that $400 was "just the starting point," which had never been mentioned before. She also removed my extensions but did not reinstall them, yet still charged me. She made it clear she didn't know how to work with the type of extensions I had, which was frustrating because I just placement them recently. Overall, her customer service skills were extremely lacking. The experience felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and far below what any client should expect. I've gotten two haircuts from Jessica at Agence Salon in San Dimas and she is amazing! I originally found her on Instagram and loved her work, so I booked with her and she did not disappoint. Went in for my appointment with Jessica, I have gone with her previously so I knew the process would be long. By 8:15 AM I was getting in foils the end results were by 3:30 pm. She has her rules about what to expect on your appointment so please check that out. This was done with bleach and toner. She has as assistant that checks the foils ( Lanie ). & reapplies as needed. She does offer extensions but I didn't get any done. Her hands are magic because look at my before n after. She's really sweet n bubbly and then there's me an introvert trying to not have social anxiety and make it worst. Sorry Jess if you feel I was dry, I'm just a really shy introvert.
