    Strawberry Bingsu
    Ricardo G.

The service was great and quick, the worker at the time being very nice. Strawberry Bingsu - 8/10 Very nice fresh strawberries with strawberry syrup on top, along with some form of mochi. Very refreshing. Melts in my mouth, nice texture, not too icy. Chocolate Bingsu - 6/10 Nice oreo crumble, chocolate syrup, and cheesecake bites on top. Really nice texture, but it's a bit too chocolate-y for me, haha.

It's a small shop in downtown Davis that sells an assortment of desserts. The staff were kind, but the bingsu was a bit plain. The mango on it was also not sweet and kind of tasteless.

    Thai tea bingsu!
    Sophie W.

The Thai tea bingsu was very light and refreshing! Compared to other bingsu I've had it was very light and not overfilling at all. There aren't any layers though and the flavor is definitely a little muted so get water to sip in between bites to make sure you keep getting the flavor because when you do it's so good. The inside felt a little cramped but it was a nice temperature and the music videos were a nice touch! I will say that the man who was working was a little off putting simply because he was very pushy about ordering and coming back and things and I just wanted to enjoy my food in peace but you can't really get mad at over hospitality only mildly annoyed lol. I will be back to try other flavors!

i love frozen yogurt and this shop is super cute! the flavor selection and toppings are limited but the taste is yummy! definitely prefer yoloberry more but this is another good option!

Had the strawberry bingsu. Very refreshing and a big generous portion. I wish they had more options re: flavors and sizes. My friend and I were interested in two different bingsus but given the size, we ordered one to share.

I love this place so much for fro-yo!! they also serve a variety of things aside from fro-yo such as boba, coffee, donuts, bingsoo, etc. they always give free cookies at the cashier register :') definitely a davis gem!

Very happy with Aggie Yogurt! Came here with a friend on 09/30 for a promotion and ordered the mango bingsoo. I like that there's no tax on the items, but would probably get a cheaper bingsoo next time if there aren't promotions. We met the owner Johnny while we waited (about ten minutes) and he was very enthusiastic and nice, allowing us to try various samples of the ice cream. Matcha was so-so but birthday cake and ube were really really good, very tasty ube and real cake in the birthday cake one so amazing texture. He was also very courteous with all of the other customers, creating a kind and warm atmosphere. The toppings for froyo looked really good - no fresh fruit but all the yummy junky stuff like chopped chocolate candy. The bingsoo was great, apparently the ice is not as textured as that in the bay area but I was very pleased with it being soft and just a bit chunky as you make your way down the bingsoo tower. The ice is not very sweet and when mixed with the toppings it's perfect. There's a middle layer of even more mango and sweetener thankfully, so the flavor doesn't water down. Overall great experience, great service, and would gladly come back for the ice cream/bingsoo.

No sugar added options ! And non dairy options!
    Marjorie A.

They have no sugar added options now! :) But I read the non dairy as the left and the no added sugar one on the right and since they were both red I didn't realize until it was too late :( Just remember to read it! But I'm glad! I didn't wanna come at first because of this but now I wanna come back! :)

BINGSOO! I absolutely love bingsoo and I'm so happy to have tried Aggie Yogurt's bingsoo. It was so delicious and the perfect amount of strawberry and Mochi ratio. The service was pretty quick and you order on the kiosk. The shop is very cute and bright with a good amount of seating.

The bingsoo was not the best, tasted like ice, just ice the only thing that made it 2 stars was the fruit. There was also no fruit for the bottom of the bingsoo so it was just a bunch of ice. I was shocked by the moon pie being one of the worst flavors you can get matcha. Just go to MandRo for a bingsoo. Haven't tried the yoghurt yet but when I have the chance I will add it to the review

    Mango bingsoo

The owner/employee at the time working there was very nice upon entering this little shop!! It was my first time here and I ordered the mango bingsoo single serving size, which was pretty good but still pretty big lol! The bingsoo itself doesn't have much flavor or layers, but the toppings make up for it. I usually don't like super sweet things, but the owner made it the perfect sweetness which was 100% adjustable. He even threw on a small scoop of the best vanilla ice cream on top for free! I'll definitely be back to support this small business!!

    expired plain tart

Me and my friend were very excited to get frozen yogurt today however, when we went to the store to get the yogurt we got the plain tart flavor. After we left, we quickly realized that it tasted like expired yogurt. It also had a very rancid smell and was defenitly passed due. We were shocked that they would sell expired food here and very disappointed with our purchase. We have tried to call to let them know without any answer. Unexceptionable.

    Melted chocolate vanilla swirl

Aggie Yogurt was okay, but given the numerous other frozen yogurt shops in Davis, I wasn't thoroughly impressed. I'll start with the good parts: the workers were super sweet, and gave us a sample cup when asked. I always appreciate that with frozen yogurt places :) They had a good variety of toppings, and they had a punch card for a free 8 oz cup of yogurt, which is always fun! Also, the floral theme was bright and colorful, and all the decorations were cute. They had a vegan sorbet, which is a plus for anyone who cannot eat dairy! They have a cappuccino machine as well, which we didn't try, but it seemed reasonably priced if you are in need of a caffeine pick-me-up. The odd parts: one of their walls is a window facing into a realtor's office? It is decorated with cute flowers, but a little strange nonetheless. Also the general setup caught me off guard, it's pretty cramped, and the hallway with the yogurt machines continues straight back to their refrigerators, so that there is just open access to what appears to be a back prep room. It certainly wasn't a building designed for a yogurt shop, but I guess I can't fault them for making the best of what they had to work with. The less-than-good parts: I tried to get chocolate vanilla swirl, and the frozen yogurt wasn't frozen. It came out half melted, and by the time I had put toppings in and paid, it was just soup. It was really disappointing, especially for arguably the most basic flavors. I didn't love the yogurt flavor options either - none of them were that exciting to begin with, the swirl combinations didn't make too much sense (cheesecake and peach, and pistachio and watermelon were the ones they had when we went) and they didn't all taste like what they should have. Cheesecake just tasted like another vanilla, and pistachio... also tasted like another vanilla, except green. I am not typically a chocolate-vanilla customer, but I just didn't really love any of the other options. They didn't even have a tart flavor, which is by far my favorite, and the reason I go to get frozen yogurt ever. Finally, since the store is so small (see my comment on the strange setup) there isn't much seating availability. I can't imagine that they could handle more than a couple of groups at a time during their busy hours. In summary, it felt like people who had no idea how to make frozen yogurt or coffee bought all the supplies for it to be self serve, and crossed their fingers it would be a good business. I can't say I'll be going out of my way to visit again, but I appreciate the interior decorations, the floral theme, and the overall vibe!

There is a lot of table space in the cafe and when UC Davis is in session, I've found many of the tables to be occupied by students doing just that. Mishka's Cafe has been around since 1995 and is a beloved place in Davis. It's a traditional cafe that has a welcoming atmosphere. When you first walk into the cafe you'll see the food case just to your left. It is filled with cafe items such as croissants, muffins, and cookies. There are savory items as well as sweet. I found the quality of the food here to be quite good and unique. Sometimes cafe food just feels like it came from somewhere else, but even if these did, they have a uniqueness about them. For example, the chocolate croissant is very flakey with a good amount of chocolate in the interior. It really surprised me! I also found the ham and cheese croissant to be very rich in flavor. My only gripe about either or these items was the heating method. I'm not sure how they are heated up, but they feel as though they used one of those quick heaters to quickly get them ready rather than a good toaster to get the items nice and crisp. As good as they are they were a bit limp due to the heating method. In terms of coffee, it's perfectly adequate. They have special offerings as well as their traditional menu. I found the coffee to be mild and friendly. It's not too strong nor very unique. It's just a solid cup. Sometimes that's really all you need.
