Morgan was our Divemaster and she was INCREDIBLY patient, reassuring, fun and professional. Exactly what I needed! She is excellent! I can't say enough about how prompt, professional and perfect the entire team at Texas Scuba at Blue Lagoon was to work with! I HIGHLY recommend the refresher courses, check off dives and/or full certification courses. In addition to our superior experience, our daughter was supposed to come with her scuba class at TAMU and at the last minute the divemaster in College Station that was going to join the class needed to cancel. This past Sunday, I accidentally ordered the wrong size weight pockets and dropped them a line asking that they please call me, because of my mistake. I received a call the next day, Monday, letting me know that they had already found the weight pockets I needed, even though they weren't listed on their site, and they could have them sent out that same day. Here it is Thursday morning and my weight pockets have arrived, as well as stickers and lollipops. I look forward to purchasing more gear from Woodlands Dive Center in the future.

We are in our 70's and are going on a snorkeling trip in the USVI. We had had a previous not so…read moresuccessful snorkeling experience in the Galapagos and wanted to truly enjoy it this time. Beatrix was so sweet and understanding and encouraging, giving us advice about safety and signs to use to signal if there is an issue like leg cramps. Scuba lessons are very affordable and my sage advice from trying to learn on split fins that were too flimsy, a leaking mask that didn't fit my pointed little head, and a leaking snorkel that tried to drown me. DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE ELSE that is trying to help you save money. I immediately ordered my own fins, mask, and snorkel as soon as I knew what I needed. Please consult Amy...the best! Can't help but love her. Chris is awesome too. You will be taught individually (scuba), and they teach swimming for any age both individually or in small groups, all in a beautiful enclosed heated pool! And local! I was so thrilled and thankful to find them when I chose to pick up Scuba diving. If you like flying under water, following correct procedures for your own safety, willing to learn a new exciting sport working with amazing dive masters, somewhat physically able, can float easily and swim, love the water, able to pursue your new expensive habit, will always have a dive buddy, then this is the place to start and finish your Scuba Open Water Certification(s). They also have additional instructors (see website). I met three of them who certified me for both Dive 3 and 4...only 4 open water dives required, performing different skills proficiently each dive. All of the skills build on each other, so you don't jump right into it and you get comfortable as you go along and learn more skills. Jez was encouraging and went the extra mile to help those of us who felt nervous about doing certain skills. He is also really funny, which helps time go by really fast! I am considering signing up for an Advanced class with Jez, since I liked the Open Water course so much. I highly recommend Scubaland as well. They are really helpful and the course itself teaches you skills ranging from how to put your gear together to learning about what to do if your air runs out underwater.

I was not contacted beforehand to approve a $400 charge or given the opportunity to decline the additional cost. They "Fixed" things like a battery change that didn't even need to be changed out or replaced. No communication at all about anything. If I Would have known I would have never went here. The worst part is I've been a repeat customer who even got a certification here. Owners should be ashamed.

From being extremely knowledgeable, to extremely patient! Very kind, humble and a sense of openness, to even the most unlikely questions that we had, from just being curious and new at scuba.... Very flexible with our schedules, from meeting with us for the first time, to pool time. Once we had signed up with ASU, we started our PADi online course. Once all the chapters and tests were completed the "second" phase of pool "hands-on training" started. We met with Adam at an amazing indoor pool facility. Went over all safety checks, equipment, signals, etc... We did several days of pool exercises, learned everything from safety, our equipment (BCD, Mask, Computer, etc), how to clear our mask underwater, buoyancy, assisting your "buddy" in case of an emergency, equalizing (hardest to overcome for me), pressures, etc... Adam really is the best instructor we could have ever asked for! He worked really hard until we understood what he was teaching/showing us and over all until we accomplished what we needed to learn. Safety is top priority for him. We also, bought all of our equipment from Adam. FYI - don't call your MASK, goggles!!!

The cancelation just says "Order #7000 was canceled because of unforeseen circumstances and your payment has been voided." with no further details. He feels the need to lie for some reason. And I live in that 'run down trailer', frankly rude to judge someone's property or living conditions for absolutely no reason.
