Ultimately, primarily for reasons outside of the ones that came up in inspection, we decided not to buy the home, and True View was able to give us partial refunds for the radon and lead tests we ordered as we would not be needing them. We will definitely be contacting Bill again for the next home we need to inspect, and I'll go in with a better eye for some of the things to look out for during our search.

Sven invested four hours of his time at the property and found over 148 issues with a property that we thought was close to turnkey. He also offered a discount with our next inspection. It is hard to overstate how professional he is and how much he cares about his craft. You would be incredible lucky to work with Sven and his team. They are honest, thorough and will teach you so much about home inspection even if you've been through the process several times. It's important to know that there's a range in price for home inspectors, but you are indeed buying a home. Sven's prices are extraordinarily fair for what he offers. He was professional, caring and took the time to educate me on how these systems work, what to look for and made sure I had an understanding of it. We went at my pace which I appreciated. When I needed to have a secondary visit for the property I was looking to purchase they helped prioritize my time and work within my timeframes. I'm very satisfied and consider this service very good value for the money…read more Ray performed a thorough inspection of my 100+ yr old house and provided a very detailed report on the various issues that exist, complete with close up detailed pictures of areas I need to review. He was friendly, courteous and provided quick turnaround of the report. I was particularly impressed with the use of the drone camera, Ray flew it around and performed a detailed inspection of the roof. He discovered a problem with the chimney cap that had been professionally installed a few weeks beforehand. He provided pictures that I forwarded to the chimney co and they came out the next day to resolve. Had this not been fixed it's likely the cap would eventually get blown off the chimney and cause damage, so I'm pretty happy to have averted a potential disaster.

Then on top of it all, the inspector report shows issues with windows and there are pics to show the damage. Which I have no issues with! Now my roof is 11 years old and they are saying I need a new roof year there are no pics to show any damage. If ur a seller my advice is beware and put cameras in ur house to watch how much they disrespect it.
