I don't usually write bad reviews, but my experience here was disappointing. We ordered takeout after flying in late from Hawaii. When I called, the woman on the phone was slurring and hard to understand. I ordered kimchi fried rice and bossam, but she said they didn't have bossam, so I ordered pork belly instead. She didn't repeat the order despite me asking multiple times and said it would take 5-10 minutes. When we arrived to pick up the food, they forgot the fried rice. We went back and forth asking for 1 order of kimchi fried rice, but the woman seemed drunk and confused, taking another 10 minutes to place the order on the POS. We ended up getting 2 orders of pork fried rice with no kimchi. She seemed more occupied with tending to other guys/friends in the restaurant than taking care of our simple order. The only saving grace was the fried rice was decent, but it wasn't even kimchi fried rice. Bbq pork belly was not worth $28 as it got cold and hardened before we got to eat it since we had to wait for fried rice. We flew in late from San Jose and went straight here from the airport. We were greeted immediately by the owner (I'm pretty sure). She was a really nice lady and we felt at home instantly (mind you this is like 12AM). She took care of us and handled us with urgency. She treated us like we were her family and I can hear her heels clanking and she ran to us whenever food was ready. The la short rib was to die for and I highly recommend the stir fried squid. Did not expect to get burn tonight. My party of 6 came into to dine tonight. While we were waiting for our food the sever brought out blazing hot soup and accidentally pour it over all me. It had gotten over over my clothes, hand, and leg. It was very very hot and I was stunned and shocked by why happened to me that all I could do was say ow repeatedly three times... the server was not apologetic nor did she came back to check on me. To make matters worse she never refill any of our waters and tipped herself 50 dollars.. the service disappointed me tremendously. I am hurt and need advice on what to do. Should pursue legal action? I love the fact that this korean establishment has a variety of cognac, that puts a smile on my face lol. I came in here a few times, customer service has always been great when I come here for a drink or two. This place is under new ownership as well. Wow!! The food was delicious! Fair priced for the portions, plenty of ban Chan (this is all the stuff you get in the small plates) it was all delicious! The radish, fish cake and other stuff I can't remember what it's called. Great service from Christina! Very attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere is unique and I have never been to a place like this before. They have a bar and you find lots of Korean beer and Soju!! Will definitely be back!! Great experience and loved the food! We've tried the kimchi creamy udon (which I would recommend), chicken feet, bossam, spicy chicken, and omuyakisoba (wouldn't recommend - didn't know what I was expecting, but it was simply yakisoba with a layer of egg on top). Personally, the price seems a bit expensive, but compared to the other restaurants in the nearby area, it is relatively the same (and yes I do think the other restaurants are also a bit expensive). Though located in the bustling block of Korean restaurants/bars in Fed, I'm surprised Agit doesn't have nearly as many reviews! The menu here is pretty similar to other Korean restaurants, though within proximity, I'd compare it best to Cockatoo's. I'm not sure I'd say chicken is the specialty here but everything I've had tasted really good (favs including the cheese corn and gizzards). The chicken wings aren't my fav because while the flavor is good, they're grilled and not fried. I love the crispy fried texture so I'll stick to other places for wings. These at Agit definitely seem healthier though. :) Service is also super friendly and quick. There were mostly Korean-speaking patrons and even though my boyfriend and I don't fit that profile, everyone was super warm and we were checked on frequently. I give them 4 stars because of the Monk fish dish. Food here is generally alright. Kimchi fried rice was good but I am not sure about other menus. It is a small bar but have slow service. Not many places around Seattle has the monk fish dish with right recipe. I liked the sauce. The portion was quite a lot but the price range is a bit high I think. She works her hardest and the food is just so good to not finish I always come here late at night too and the food always tastes fresh and hearty. Not sure if it was a language barrier or if the waitress was not attentive but my partner asked for a double shot and we was given two shots of alcohol when I had mentioned I was good with water. I liked the seafood pancake but it wasn't as crispy since it was served on a plate instead of a skillet. I personally liked the cheese corn better than 8ight, but their portion size was a bit smaller. Gyoza was too fried. Luckily this spot was open late at night, and the servers were prompt, helpful, and friendly. It's good that they follow state guidelines and check for vaccine cards. Tl;Dr - nice people serving expensive dishes that are poorly cosplaying as Korean food. Save your money. I bought a kimchi soondubu (soft tofu soup) from this place for my father. My experience started odd and ended poor. When I walked into the restaurant, I placed my order for take out. It was almost $19 for kimchi soondubu, which shocked me, but I gave them the benefit of a doubt. When my order was ready, the server gave me just the soup. JUST the soup - no rice or side dishes. I have never been to a Korean restaurant that did that. When I asked the server if my take out came with rice and banchan, she was surprised and said that people normally didn't ask for them (wtaf?) She kindly got both for me and packed it up with my food. I got home and served my dad the food. He ate about 5 bites and refused to eat anymore. My mom confirms that everything tastes bafflingly bad. I took a bite of everything to see if they were being dramatic. They weren't. The soondubu tasted like kimchi liquid, hot water, and MSG. Lots of tofu but utterly bland and just not good. The rice was half-hard. Unacceptable for any self-respecting Asian restaurant. The banchan were all overly sweet. We ended up throwing away everything except the rice (for jook). I saw that the place is under new management and it seems that they are still finding their feet. I hope they find a new chef ASAP and do some market research to figure out how to be competitive in the Korean restaurant biz. At their current rate, they likely won't last long. read more

What a hidden gem! I came here after a late night meeting on a Thursday night and had a hankering for some Korean Fried Chicken, aka KFC. After doing a quick Yelp search, I settled on this place. At 10pm at night, this place is located in a mini mall with several other Korean bars, restaurants, and karaoke bars. It reminded me of a mini Koreatown. The entrance to Agit has a metal door that looks like something out of a fallout shelter. Once you walk in, you're greeted by the bartender and K-Pop played on 3 different tv's. There's also a mural wallpaper of Greece near the bar. Probably remnants of the previous restaurant. It wasn't that busy on the Thursday night I went there. The server, who barely looked like he was 21, seated me in the main room. The menu has your traditional Korean fare. Normally, I would want to try their Kalbi Short Ribs, but I was on a mission. I wanted to try the spicy Korean wings. The wings came on a sizzling platter slathered in spicy Gochujang sauce. Normally, I can handle spicy wings, but these had a nice numbing kick to it. They were so spicy, my eyes started to water for a sec, but they were oh so good! I couldn't stop eating them even though my fingers were filled with that thick sauce. If you're a fan of wings, this is for you. In addition to the wings, the Banchan or Korean side dishes were also top notch. My initial plan was to not fill myself up with these small dishes because I wanted to save room for the wings, but I couldn't stop eating. There's just something about Koreans and the way they prepare hot dogs in their dishes. I could eat Banchan dishes with hot dogs for days! By the time I was done with my meal, I had eaten the wings and all the Banchan. I was definitely not ashamed of myself because it was all so good! I'm not sure why other Yelp reviewers dinged this place for poor service. My server was very polite and attentive. If you need to grab the server, there's literally a button you can press to grab their attention. Don't be fooled by the outdoor facade of this place either. It's unassuming, but if you're looking for good Korean food, this is the place. At another table, I saw a couple of middle-aged men, probably just finished from another restaurant, drinking beers, soju and eating a giant platter of pork and pork knuckle, laughing and having a good time. The delivery was going to take 50 mins which made me question how good it will be once I receive the food but it was hot and the veggies still crispy. The food I ordered was the spicy squid. Let me tell you that hot is like your Korean Mom hates you hot! It was very flavorful, not greasy and the squid wasn't over cooked! For a doordash meal it was great. Cheesy corn appetizer was a bit sweet with mayo mixed in, and very good. Barbequed small pork intestine was good too, charred and filled with musky goodness. Bulgolgi was sweet as usual.
