On Saturday, 5/16/26, we wanted to get Korean food, so chose to go to this restaurant in Federal Way, WA. Arrived for early dinner at 6:00 PM. Got seated promptly at a table with a grill. Looked at the menu and noticed it changed to have an AYCE Option as well as the regular one. It looked different than the previous one which had combos and whatnot for parties of 2 or more. Anyway, the 3 of us decided to get the Classic Combo for $38.99/per person. Initially requested for 2 orders of Beef Brisket, 2 Pork Belly, 2 Pork Gyoza, a Bulgogi French Fries and an Egg Roll along with 4 Rice bowls. For some odd reason, our grill at the table heated up very slowly even on high! Had to wait a while to grill the meat and took a long time to cook them because the induction was too low. After our first order of food items, we asked multiple times for more of the Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, Egg Rolls, Gyoza, Rice and Japchae (Stir Fried Glass Noodles). It seemed like the quality of the BBQ meat went down compared to our last visit. Maybe because they had changed it to a more prominent All-You-Can-Eat BBQ joint? I'm not quite sure, but we could definitely taste the difference in the meat quality. The other food items were tasty, though. Have to remember that their portion sizes changed to be smaller as well. I suppose they did that in order to save food inventory for the AYCE option in case not everyone finished their portions and had big amounts of leftover food. Service was pretty good, received decent table service and requests for refills on water, side dishes and additional menu item orders. Overall, we had a pleasant dine-in experience. Next time we may end up ordering from the regular menu. As for parking, it was actually pretty packed in the front and back of the restaurant. Guess it was a busy time for people to eat their dinner at the time we went.

I called the restaurant today to confirm their online ayce BBQ menu prices & the guy on the phone said yes, Classic menu is $38/pp ALL DAY. He also double checked with the owner, which I overheard her saying yes, Classic is $38 in Korean. But, when my son & bunch of his friends went there at 4pm today, that wasn't the case. My son also showed this waitress (Hispanic lady) online menu from his phone but she wasn't aware so she went in the back to ask someone. She took too long to get back to them, so they left. I found this out when he came home & I was very irritated since I've just talked to them today! Also, I was the one telling my son to go there instead of Palace Korean bbq! I don't know if they just didn't want to serve to bunch of young people or what but they just wasted my son's time! So disappointing since we go here often. Thank goodness they ended up going to UNDERGROUND KITCHEN, which was my 2nd choice for them. My son said they all ate a lot & were very satisfied!!!

    Egg soufflé. SO GOOD!

Since when did chosun become Chosun x woobling?!? Huge ayce selections, amazing meat quality, and service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful food and Awesome customer service!! The place is clean, the servers are very proactive with checking in on you! They don't let the grill just burn, they change them promptly!

Well. Everything was going well enough until we ordered the ribeye. Ugh. Im beginning to feel she didn't bring the right cut because this was straight dry af. Sidedishes were actually edible this time around. Service was quick and attentive. Plenty of smiling faces and full bellies.

I came here to dine solo as I do every Thursday and really enjoyed my time here! Great service like a korean Mama looking out for you, nice selection of banchans and delicious naengmyeon! They machine pull their noodles according to their IG and website which makes them stand out! Ambiance isn't too loud either. Definitely do want to come back for their meal combos or kbbq next time!

This review is simply for the Korean AYCE BBQ option. This is my first Korean BBQ AYCE in Washington since I moved here over a month ago. Honestly, I didn't even know this restaurant offered single servings/portions since I drove all the way out here from Lacey just to try their AYCE Korean BBQ. Was a bit confusing upon arrival since the server asked my husband and I if we wanted to do Lunch or Dinner, so I was assuming Lunch or Dinner KBBQ. The place was fairly busy, with everyone seated on the left side of the restaurant (right side was empty unless you needed to use the restrooms). The restaurant was spacious but cozy (I mean, they have a cute ajumma on their sign). When we were seated, the server handed us regular menus and took some time to get back to us, probably to give us time to order. The prices for their regular menu just looks super expensive, with some options costing as much as their Lunch KBBQ AYCE! But they have a nice variety of options if you're looking for something specific. When the server returned, we cleared up the confusion, and he brought over the AYCE KBBQ menus. What I DO like: there is no limit with ordering per round. With the exception of the ribeye for the lunch options (they mentioned verbally so i can't remember precisely), you can order as much as you'd like as long as you can finish it. Every AYCE KBBQ place I had been to in California would set an ordering limit of usually 3 meats and 3 appetizers per round, so it's refreshing that's not the case with this place in Washington. The service was great, with various servers stopping by to check up on us, provide refills, and continue taking my orders while clearing any empty trays. Always great to have attentive service; we never had to wave to get their attention because we knew they would promptly stop by. We did have one small miscommunication where I ordered spicy chicken feet but I was given spicy chicken, but they easily fixed that and swapped out the correct option. They provided so many complementary sides, which were so yummy with all the meats. I ordered a ton of options and everything was very delicious. The grill didn't need to be changed either! Not sure if it's silicone or what type of grill it is, but I really liked that my meats weren't sticking to and burning the grill, so I didn't have to worry about grill changes. The spicy beef bulgogi was marinated well (not too heavy) and easy to eat. The large intestines were perfectly fatty and savory. Portion sizes were fair too. The scallops were a little bit salty though. The sweet pumpkin porridge was suuuper good. Just a few highlights. What I DISLIKE: The AYCE Korean BBQ option requires a minimum of 2 people per table. Idk if this is just a Washington thing since this doesn't seem like the only kbbq with this policy, but for someone that dines solo sometimes, I don't like this and don't quite understand the reasoning behind it besides a business decision to charge more? I was in Federal Way about two weeks ago and wanted to try out kbbq by myself after work, but then I noticed this policy. Had to drag my husband here this week as a body, just so I could eat to my heart's content. (He literally only had 2 orders of the spicy beef bulgogi and 1 Cajun chicken. I ordered at least triple the amount.) Just because I don't have friends, shouldn't mean I can't enjoy AYCE alone :( Otherwise, everything was great. I would love to come here again for the food! (If I can convince someone to come along with me)

This KBBQ spot is just okay overall. I do like that they offer ribeye (limited to one per person), which is a nice option, but for the ambiance and quality of the meat, I feel like it's a bit overpriced. Service has been hit or miss. Sometimes they're attentive about changing out the grill, and other times our table gets ignored for a while, so it feels inconsistent. They do have a solid selection of banchan--my favorite was the sliced pickled radishes. I also really enjoyed the brisket, but the rest of the meats were just average in terms of quality. The restaurant itself isn't my favorite aesthetically--it feels a bit tacky with the wall colors and table setup, which doesn't quite match the price point. For around $50 per person (not including tax, tip, or drinks), I'd expect a bit more in both ambiance and overall experience. That said, I do appreciate the variety on the menu. It's nice that they offer more than just meat, with noodles and other Korean dishes, so there's something for everyone. Overall, it's not bad, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to given the price.

The quality took me by surprise. We tried a lot of meats and the only thing I didn't like was the scallops. The banchan were nice, especially the cabbage kimchi and the japchaen. The salad was also fresh and crisp. The fried chicken was hot, fresh, and crunchy. Also enjoyed the pancake. Service exceeded my expectations. I figured with an AYCE it would be hard to wave down a server. Not once did we have any service issue. Our server was very attentive.

Old school Kbbq. Their banchan is some of the best. Service is hit or miss but not hard to get someone's attention. K-pop in the background and lots of older korean folks enjoying their meals. Brings back memories .

They have lots of meat options for AYCE style Korean BBQ grill in front of your face. I opted for the vegetarian option and they were nice enough to accommodate that for a party of four. I did not reach for the meat haha. Very friendly staff. They also have self serve soft served ice cream to clean your palates. Be sure to leave your nice jackets in the car. Although they have one of the best ventilation system, you'll come out like smoked meat!

Boneless short rib, beef brisket, spicy pork bulgogi
    Simon H.

Ordered ala carte for kbbq, they no longer offer the combos they used to. We had spicy pork bulgogi, beef brisket, beef ribeye and boneless beef short rib pieces, spicy tofu soup and of course the banchan. Brisket and pork bulgogi were excellent, banchan very tasty and even included some japchae noodles. They asked if we would like them to cook the meat and then bring it to us rather than us cooking it at our table, so I said sure but the ribeye and boneless short ribs were a bit too close to well done. Spent $200 and we (2 adults 2 kids) probably ate less than half of the meat that we ordered, so we had a lot of leftovers to take home! Next time I'll skip the ribeye.

This Korean BBQ spot is pretty amazing. Make sure you bring your appetite though! We went for the all you can eat dinner. There are a lot of proteins to choose from so pick wisely. After the first round we were already getting full, so another trip in the future is needed to try more items! Everything was tasty and the service was good

I've had about 5 burger at J Macs over the years and none have impressed me. I just found out the Renton location closed and I also believe they had a Lynnwood location which also is gone, leaving this lone establishment. We changed it up and decided to try Happy Hour. This is the best Happy Hour menu I have seen in recent memory. Solid selection and reasonable prices. I went with the Potato Skins and I have to tell you, they were the largest skins I've ever seen making it a killer deal. Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. Not enough bacon and I would have rather had ranch instead of sour cream. I think Black Angus has the best Potato Skins around now that Claim Jumpers is gone and unless they changed the menu, they are available for Happy Hour there. Again, the skins here did not impress, but the price and portion blew me away, so these guys are going to get 4 stars from me. Jimmy's and Billy's may have the same owner, but the recipes differ, I think Billy is more flavorful and consistent, but you get more meat selections at Jimmy's. Good news is they are only a couple miles apart. So choose wisely and enjoy either way.
