Cafe Agora looks completely different now. The place has been fully renovated, and it's so posh! The prices have gone up a bit, but the food is still just as delicious as I remember. Since the renovation, I've been back twice, and both visits were great. On my first visit, I ordered the Agora Mixed Grill ($28), which came with adana kebab, lamb kebab, chicken kebab, and lamb gyro, served with rice, salad, and pita. It's basically a dream plate for meat lovers. Everything was flavorful, and the meats were tender and juicy. On my second visit, I went for the Adana Kebab ($22), a grilled spicy ground lamb skewer seasoned with red bell peppers and also served with rice, salad, and pita. It was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. Overall, the new atmosphere feels upscale without losing the welcoming vibe, and the food quality remains excellent. Definitely worth revisiting if you haven't been since the remodel.

Inside is so cute, food is good, service is attentive and nice! I love the bread, all of the dips are so good. A must if you go here. There is complimentary tea!

I sat at the bar since I was alone. AJ was a great server and bartender. The food was great and perfectly cooked. Just enough char and seasoning. Most of their seating is upstairs so be aware. One nice thing is that they have free parking across the street. Ambiance is nice but casual.

Tastefully decorated interior with matching plate designs. They gave us a complimentary lentil kofte to start which was very light and refreshing with the lettuce wrap. The babaghanoush was smoky and paired well with the warm pita. Entrees came out shortly after. My beef kebab was super tender, and the orzo had a tasty tomato flavor. My boyfriend's mixed plate had a lamb chop, lamb kebab, chicken kebab, and Adana kebab (spicy ground lamb). The best was the lamb chop, which was pretty high quality and tender. The baklava was a delicious end to the meal, with buttery layers of dough and satisfying pistachio flavor. The ice cream was a good accompaniment. Service was excellent, super friendly and attentive. We did have to box up our leftovers though, while some other places with a similar price point tend to box them up for you. All in all, very impressed with the food here and would recommend!

Wow, what a great experience! Terron was a fantastic server - he treated us like family, and was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and respectful. The mezze platter is a great appetizer for the table - highly recommend so you can try all the dips - my favorite was the eggplant salad. The asude chicken was a bit too charred for my taste. The baklava dessert with vanilla ice cream was excellent, simple and tasty! Appreciated the ambiance, intimate, and comfortable.

Came for my sisters birthday and it was great from start to end. We ordered the babaghanoush, Greek potatoes, and spanakopita; let's just say they did not disappoint. We actually missed an order and when we advised they brought it out on the house no question. Our server was sure to explain everything well and give recommendations. For entrees we ordered the falafel, chicken kebob, branzino, and angora mixed grill they all had rice and a salad. All entrees were a nice portion and seasoned very well. We sat upstairs it's a smaller venue with mild lighting but a nice vibe for a dinner date or small party function. I will definitely be returning!

First time dining here but it's a favorite of my colleagues. I went with the Salmon plate for lunch and it was delicious. Salmon was fresh and well cooked, as well as everything else on the plate. Service was quick, especially for the lunch hour. I loved the vibe of the place, as it made me feel welcomed and it was perfect for our group. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

This restaurant is very clean and tidy. The floor is shiny. The plates are beautiful too. This was my first stress-free meal of this Atlanta trip. It was absolutely delicious. Thank you!

An incredibly decorated and cute restaurant. It has seating outdoors, at the bar, and upstairs. We came for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't super crowded and the service was quick! Our waiter gave us great recommendations and we shared a mixed platter. The salmon was well cooked and the gyro was tasty! Would recommend!

I can't believe I haven't been here yet Hands down the best Mediterranean food I've ever had in Atlanta. And it's down the street from me. Perfect. More Baklava please!! that was the absolute best ever! Make sure to order it. Michelle was super awesome and took care of me quickly. Answering all the right questions. She's awesome. The outdoor sitting was cool with the overhead art piece.

What a cute spot! We came on a Monday night and were surprised at how busy the place was. We were sat upstairs right away. Unfortunately, there were a few large parties and the server was very nervous about a delay in our dinner but we did not think it was much of an issue. The food was very tasty. I really enjoyed the babaganoush and the cream sauce on my salmon. I was shocked at how large the salmon portion was. I would come back!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The service is phenomenal from the hostess to the waiter. It is kid friendly! The ambiance is relaxed but still slightly elevated. Our daughters enjoyed the asude kebab - the chicken was tender and seasoned to perfection! The rice had ingredients they are too picky to enjoy but they did eat the white rice. We also had the shrimp saganaki for appetizer. It was ok - it could have used a bit more seasoning. We got warm pita to share with the table. The best item we ordered was the salmon plate - OMG so amazing! The salad it came with was so delicious and fresh! We love this restaurant and will go back for sure!

Google pointed us to Yalda and I might be letting Google pick my restaurants for the forseeable future. Let's get into it! Location and Parking Yalda is located the bustling Aria Village in Sandy Spring, which is a small retail center that is home to quite a few businesses. Yalda offers valet parking or you can self-park for free in the garage. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant was appropriately crowded on a Thursday night. It was warm that day so we opted to sit on the patio, which was almost full. The interior is beautiful. There's a semi-open kitchen - with a good view of the flames. The vibe teetered on between elevated and casual, either way you'd definitely fit in. Food and Drinks For drinks, my wife had the Mitra's Habibi which is a gin based cocktail and as always I stuck with bourbon had the Midnight Star. We started with the hummus and the Za'atar Labneh, both which were very good. The star of the show was the Soltani kabob we shared. It was marinated to perfection and cooked over the open flame. The basmati rice was fragrant and flavorful and paired nicely. We also shared the Shirazi salad, which added.a refreshing feel to the entree. Service Service was great. Our servers were professional and attentive. Verdict Always a lover of Mediterranean food, Yalda has definitely earned a customer in me. If you're ever in Sandy Springs pay them a visit. Until next time!

The spices in the rice were overpowering and my partner didn't enjoy it as much. The potatoes were extra crunchy and a bit burnt... unsure if it was overdone or on purpose. It smelled like was it cooked in coconut oil. I would say 7 out of 10 overall. The lamb neck was recommended by the waiter. It was really good, slow cooked and the meat was tender. The sauce was unremarkable. The waiter gave us a house made spicy sauce and made this dish significantly better. I would say 9/10 overall. The hummus with the pickled mushroom was amazing. It was topped off with truffle oil and I just couldn't keep my hands off of it. I would say 10/10. I just want to point out the bill had a notice that says "tips are based on check prices after taxes" was confusing and unsure why would company charge tips on top of taxes. Our waiter was amazing so we didn't mind paying the extra but it really made us wonder about the company policy.

The two women that were working the front were excellent and they helped me along trying to make my decision. I'm really hard on Mediterranean food only because where I grew up it was easy to find Mediterranean food because so many people from that side of the world put roots there. I loved it and I would definitely go back. Chicken shawarma (platter) - so the platter comes with two sides and an entrée. Everything was good. The chicken shawarma was very good and flavorful and it was super tender and I love that because it wasn't like it was sitting there all day. It was something I would definitely go back for. I may even get a wrap next time but the actual platter served me really well and it was great. roasted potatoes - my first side was potatoes and it's hard to mess up roasted potatoes. I don't know what it is about it. Maybe it has something in it but it is amazing. I could actually get a big bowl of it and call it a day. In any event yes I liked everything I got, yes I would go back, yes the soup is amazing, all the things LOL. They have a rosemary chicken that is supposed to be the best seller but I didn't come for that. I would definitely try that next time. I was very satisfied with what I got!

From the moment I walked in, Kameel made me feel welcome. His energy is contagious, and he genuinely engages with every customer, making everyone feel like family rather than just another order. That level of hospitality is hard to find and really sets this place apart. I ordered their best-selling Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The halal, hormone-free chicken breast was perfectly seasoned with Turkish spices, grilled with sweet white onions, and wrapped with creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, fresh cabbage salad, tabouli, and tahini in their homemade wrap. Every bite was packed with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the portion was surprisingly generous. For dessert, I couldn't resist the Pistachio Baklava, and I'm glad I didn't. The flaky filo layers were filled with pistachios and lightly sweetened with organic maple syrup instead of refined sugar. Combined with 100% olive oil and a hint of rose water, it was rich without being overly sweet and made for the perfect ending to the meal. What I also appreciate is Aviva's commitment to quality and healthy eating. They cook exclusively with 100% extra virgin olive oil, use halal, hormone- and antibiotic-free meats, fresh local produce, and avoid processed ingredients. They also offer vegan and gluten-free options while taking care to prevent cross-contamination, making it an inclusive place for people with different dietary needs.
