They reached out immediately (even though my request was at 7pm on a Friday night) and within minutes I was scheduled for first thing the next morning (Saturday). They showed up on time and after a few minutes of going through the insurance process, they began their work. I don't even know where the chip in my glass was. They did a beautiful job and it was super quick! Insurance covered the chip so there was no out of pocket expense for me. I LOVE that they come to you. That's awesome. I let him know what happened and what I needed and he was actually able to get me scheduled, come to me, and get me taken care of same day which made everything even better! He sent out Junior who was just as pleasant to deal with, again, amazing customer service. He was communicative and fast. The price was affordable which is why I was able to get it done same day. Because of the great customer service and affordability, this will definitely be my go to place should I need any other services with window replacement/repairs.

He has a clear pictures before and after that is incident happen and here's the receipt. I went to Clear Quality Auto Glass at 5370 S. Decatur to get a simple chip repair done on my windshield. Instead, they shattered the entire front windshield during the process. What started as a small, affordable fix turned into a huge problem -- caused by them. Rather than taking responsibility, the staff became rude and defensive. They refused to admit fault and even tried to charge me $895 for the full windshield replacement -- which I never needed before walking in. They offered a so-called "discount," bringing it down to $525, which I was still expected to pay out of pocket for something I didn't break. I calmly offered a fair solution: I'd pay half, and they cover the other half. I even told them I understand accidents happen -- but I came in with a tiny chip, not planning to spend hundreds of dollars. The owner flat-out refused, started yelling at me, and kicked me off the property. He even threatened to call the police and accused me of trespassing -- all for trying to resolve their mistake reasonably. This is not how a professional business should treat customers. Their behavior was completely dishonest, disrespectful, and aggressive. They messed up, and instead of owning it, they tried to make me pay for their error. Do not trust this shop. If anything goes wrong, they will not take accountability -- and they will treat you like the problem.

Anyway, called Metro and was told as nicely as possible that this type of property damage crimes, where no victims were hurt, is just way too NOT important to trouble the hard working Metro officers that (I PRESUME) prefers to earn the department money by issuing traffic citations or shooting the random homeless mental patient or having free buffet at all of the many casinos in the greater Las Vegas community. How much is it going to cost? Is it even worth using insurance I pay like clockwork, but luckily never have to use very often. After typing in a search on the Internet and filling out an online form requesting a quote, I got a text fairly quickly and a call from someone with a reasonable damage assessment for my wallet. An appointment was made for the next day and I texted the required information for the installer (Jose and his son from Star Auto Glass) to get to the location of my vehicle. Jose and his son actually arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected, which was great. They verified that the replacement window fits my car, and got to work cleaning up the mess from the break in and also the shattered shards of glass inside the door panel (pretty sure rattling noises from bits of glass while I drive would annoy the heck out of me). Within the hour, the job was complete and the work verified. I paid the quoted cash discounted price and with a friendly handshake concluded the satisfactory business transaction resulted from a very nasty surprise. Since this type of unpleasantness happens a lot here in Las Vegas. If you need this type of repair work done on your car, definitely get a quote from them. Oh by the way, images of James Bond's car exploding and killing the bad guy that smashed his parked Aston Martin (or whatever luxury car manufacturer that happened to sponsored the movie I am thinking of) popped into my head.
