This is a an excellent company for auto glass replacement in Vegas. He and his family have been at this for several decades. Professional install, super quick, nice to talk to. Overall, it was $100 less than my deductible would have been and the glass is high quality, probably 95+ percent as good as OEM, at 1/3 the price. I have a GM vehicle, so it's also not the sort of vehicle that needs special glass/replacements are a common item. Note that the OEM glass was beginning to lose the tinting/separate a bit at the edges after 5 years in the sun. (yay Vegas summers!) So OEM isn't perfect, either. Basically if your car is made in North America, the glass is basically identical/not going to be completely perfect, even from the factory. No point on OEM for a Buick or Toyota, for replacement. Not unless it was something collectible/rare. The company they source from is PGW (Pittsburgh Glass Works), so the quality is decent. No offshore mystery glass/they make it themselves. Note - I would only recommend them for glass repairs. Tinting, wrapping, and ceramic coating are their own specialty fields. You definitely get what you pay for in those cases. read more

You use Yelp (of course!) to find a bunch of auto glass close to the strip and Superior Center Auto Glass pops up on cue. I called early in the morning and Chris was able to answer. I cannot recommend Chris Mae for any professional service. He previously tinted my windows advertising a lifetime guarantee and charged $200 for them. One of the tints he rendered needs to be replaced yet he isn't standing behind his word, rather referring me to one of his colleagues who will not honor the lifetime warranty. But it gets even worse: he used the HP line of Suntek tinting, which is one the lowest-quality tinting films you can use, and the company only provides a three-year warranty as opposed to "lifetime," on top of which he charged the same amount you would pay for carbon tinting film, which is top of the line! The Suntek HP, on the other hand, should have cost $120 at most and has a tendency to degrade over time, hence the three-year warranty. Other dubious practices of his are that he accepted "cash only" which leaves me and others in the tint industry believing he may have done this to evade taxes. He also wrote a receipt in handwriting that was more ineligible than that of a doctor. The guys smiles and makes jokes but again, I would not trust this person for any professional service. He could have come out and replaced the tints he previously guaranteed for life as a demonstration of keeping his word but, low and behold, it was a lie. Please be forewarned that he does not have honest practices and, while he may appear to do good work on the surface, you may be in for an unpleasant surprise down the line which he won't stand up for. There are quality people out there. He just isn't one of them. read more
