Once I started unpacking boxes and moving items out of my garage, I found significant damage. One antique table that belonged to my grandmother has clearly been mishandled. There are two places where there were shreds of wood on the corner. I was unpacking boxes that were supposed to be books they packed, and I got about halfway through one box and discovered that they threw two glass shadowbox frames in with the books. One of them was shattered. Thankfully it was the one I hadn't yet filled with photos. The other one would have been disastrous since it had photos of my dad who recently passed away. Even novice movers know you don't put glass frames at the bottom of a box of books!!!! I'm seriously afraid to see what else got damaged in the numerous boxes I have yet to unpack. It's pathetic.

I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. It has been in business since 1854.(not1954). Trish and Scott Many are the fifth generation of the family to operate the company. There was not a nick or scratch in our house or the condo that we moved into. Great job and certainly enough to warrant a 5 Star rating. However, Many's goes beyond what any other company does. A door in our kitchen broke the evening before the move and Scott fixed it. My desk could not fit in my office in the condo. Scott took off 2 legs that were glued to the top, moved the desk into the office and restored the desk to better condition than before. Same with s bar getting into the basement which Scott advised would not fit down the staircase. Not sure what he did, but the bar is sitting in our basement. Whether you are moving to a new residence or just want Many's to move furniture around your current residence, Many's has to be your choice. The crew is great. Polite, friendly and very careful.
