I used AguaVida for more than 2 years until recently because my girlfriend moved in and she has a reverse osmosis system. Their water is high PH and delicious. My first order of alkaline water tasted like tap water. Second bottle was the same. Smelled like bleach or tap water. FAR different from the taste when I sampled it on-site. When reaching out to them, they didn't offer an apology. All they said was they don't use chemicals in their process and would send out a replacement when they felt comfortable. I set aside a sample of the water and will have it independently tested. Started off great but the experience keeps on getting worst. read more

I am updating this review because every month for the last several months my deliveries have been missed. My delivery was yet again missed last Thursday & they called to make it "better ". By telling me Monday would be the soonest & even confirmed by email. Well today is Monday & they missed it AGAIN. Was a customer for over 2 years but the service and reliability has gone down hill. After months of unreliable delivery where I had to reach out and mention that my delivery was not made, since no notification is sent that your delivery has been rescheduled I decided to cancel my account after reaching out for 3 consecutive days that my delivery had not been made despite reassurance each day that it would happen the following day. Water quality is great but not worth the hassle every month of chasing the company down to see when delivery would take place despite having an agreed upon delivery frequency and date every month and having to take out empty bottles every single day on the hope that the delivery will take place that day. I believe on their website they have "We promise you, we won't keep you thirsty" I can say that was absolutely not true for me as I would never know when delivery would be and would sometimes stay without water to the point I ended up adding an additional bottle of water to account for late delivery. After closing my account I mentioned I still had empty bottles and if they could schedule a pick up date, it had been about a month without any response so I reached out again after my account was billed again for a new delivery despite me stating I wished to closed my account. I reached out for a refund and to mention again about my empty bottles and refund was applied immediately but they scheduled the pick up until 2 weeks later... fast forward those 2 weeks and shocker no one showed up to pick up the empty bottles. I'm now 1.5 months after closing my account with no clue when the bottles will be picked up which is very inconvenient since I know have to store not only water from my new water service but these empty bottles as well. Definitely would not recommend this company. read more

I have been a customer with this company for a little over a year. I have had issues with them since. I just canceled my subscription today, cause I just can't take it anymore. I can never get my delivery on time, they always want to literally argue with me about why they can never accommodate me to get me my water. It's crazy cause the owner is the problem her name is Andrea she never wants to listen just talks over you, and never seeks to understand the issues in order to resolve her customer's individual situation. This company is not worth the hassle of getting this water. COSTCO HAS A WATER SERVICE THEY HAVE THE 9.5 ALKALINE WATER, AND THEY GIVE YOU THE SAME AMOUNT OF WATER BOTTLES FOR THE SAME PRICE THEY ALSO GIVE YOU THE WATER DISPENSER. I'm literally looking for all avenues to complain about this company cause customer service is where company growth comes from. First I'd like to review the water, it's great! Those of you who are water drinkers (you notice the taste of water) will love it. I noticed the benefits immediately. No complaints there. The concern that I do have is with who ever is in charge of working with the subscriptions/customers. Right from the beginning they got something wrong on their end. I signed up for 2 bottle deliveries ever 2 weeks. They sent me an email confirmation clearly stating what I signed up for and the price ($27 every 4 weeks - this was wrong). The second water delivery (after my first initial delivery) never came. I called a few days after and they tell me that I wasn't signed up for that in their system - I was to get 2 jugs of water every 4 weeks, despite what my email said. I explained the email I got, they said it was wrong. I asked what the difference would be to get the delivery the way I thought I had it and they informed me it would be a lot more than I thought. That was no problem at all. I wanted to cancel due to the price and the simple fact that I can just fill up a water jug on my own with out the convenience of a delivery. The woman began to ask why I was canceling, I explained to her that my first interactions with this company had errors on their end and the price is just a bit to high...FOR ME. Not saying the prices are bad, I just don't want to spend that money on delivery right now. She then started to argue about those errors and that's where my patience grew thin. I told her to please stop and cancel my order. She did. She explained to leave the 2 water jugs out the next day (Thursday, May 23rd) and the delivery staff will pick them up, I did. Now fast forward three weeks and I get an email (today, Tuesday, June 11th) and she is stating that in order to proceed in the cancellation process I must leave the jugs out this Thursday (June 13th). I emailed back stating they've been gone for three weeks. Still haven't heard back from her. It takes a lot for me to complain but this is a bit ridiculous. The office needs to tighten up and keep track of what their customers are signed up for and more. I cancelled because of errors then 3 weeks later they lose track of the bottles that were already picked up. The water is great but the customer service is not very good. Hands down one of the best subscriptions services in LA, high quality, super tasty and sustainable. Their customer service is always super helpful, efficient and kind. A few weeks ago we had to fumigate our home and in the rush of things we completely forgot to let Aguavida know to cancel or change the delivery date because of the fumigation. We communicated with them just a few hours before the delivery time and they were very understanding and responsive, they rescheduled delivery for us at no cost. Wow! I'm so happy I switched! I was using Mountain Valley Spring Water delivery because it's supposed to be the "best". Best if you're cool with water getting trucked in from Arkansas, and being really heavy in minerals and taste, then sure, knock yourself out! I learned about Aguavida and was so impressed with the water and delivery service. I had an difficult time with Mountain Valley, and a great experience with Aguavida, but ymmv. I like that they pay for the water that is sourced, unless the bigger names, and they also have the water at Whole Foods so I know it's good. The taste of the water is pure and light. So happy. And now my electric kettle doesn't get heavy sediment in it anymore! read more
