GBR is amazing! Highly recommend. We upgraded our kitchen on a budget and went to GBR because we…read morewere interested in Caesarstone, but it turned out that wasn't the right solution for us. After exploring other affordable options, we almost didn't do new countertops at all; but at the last minute we found an inexpensive orphan quartzite slab that we loved at another shop. It was cheap not only because it was an orphan but also because it had some issues, including a giant fissure on the back, a deep vein on one side, and chipping along one edge. On top of that, it was on the smallish side. We took this problem to GBR. They arranged for the slab to be delivered to their shop and took very careful measurements of our kitchen. Then they did a wonderful job of talking us through all the challenges that this choice of slab brought with it -- but best of all, they suggested solutions and alternatives to make it possible to use it in our kitchen. GBR knocked it out of the park on the cutting and installation. The counters and island look perfect! They were even able to enlarge the top of the island a little from the size of the old one. We could not be happier with the results. They were a delight to work with and we will definitely work with them again if we do additional work to the house.

He sent me a bid and we set up a time to get going. He is very professional in all facets. As great as that is, his work is even better. He was very familiar with the Schluter that was used to install. He got the waterproofing done the first day, had the leak test overnight and tiled the next day. Today he did the grout and it is amazing! I was jealous of all the tools he has! We also appreciate that he was very neat and cleaned everything up. His price was very fair.
