We stopped by one day, reviewed the samples, and had all the work done (including ordering the tile to match our previously remodeled bathroom) within 10 days. Cons: does not post or list any pricing on swatches in store-- meaning you have to ask a sales rep to look up the price on any single individual sample. Quality flooring just finished the flooring in my home.This is my third experience with them. It gets better everytime. They've done hardwood floors for me and now a very complicated laminate flooring job. They provided expert product advice had an answer for every question or concern. The workmen were friendly, courteous and meticulously clean. They left my house exactly the way they found it except that it has new flooring and it is absolutely flawless. We set out replace our master bathroom with a walk-in tile shower and floors. We went to Quality Flooring for the third time in 10 years for the tile. They showed us tile that it turned out they couldn't get, so we had to start over from square one after a week had gone by. Meanwhile, we were living without a bathroom as it had been demo'd already. We hurriedly chose another design and were told that the supplier would buy back any unused tiles so long as the boxes were unopened. When the tile came in, I had to drive to Santa Rosa myself to pick it up to avoid the additional day of shipping to Petaluma. The Quality Flooring person ordered 3 too many boxes of tile based on the simple measurements we provided. And when it came time to refund/ buy back the extra tiles, nobody could remember having made that claim. I would not recommend this store any longer. The staff and owner seem tired and confused. We witnessed a great execution by the QFC decorator (Lori), the two flooring guys (Sabino and Paulo), and the support people from the office. The final product is a piece of art. Quality Flooring was our final choice, after we looked all over Sonoma County as they had the best track record and they fit our needs. We were quite happy with the overall results, and you can see several of my pics of the final installation. BYW the estimations for the amount of materials was spot on. Some of the finishing pieces were delayed, on order, so we had to be patient until they came in. That goes with the territory. I noticed that some of the lesser Yelp review had to do with amount of materials and timing; my advice, let the professionals do their thing and don't second guess them. We are in the beginning processes of re-modeling our newly purchased home. We drove by QFC and decided to stop in for a look. We have looked at many flooring stores local, online, and bigger corporate stores. The customer service we received from Lori today was hands down the best flooring experience we have had. She was understanding, not pushy, and listened to what we wanted. She only showed us product that fell in the category of what we wanted. She communicated everything so clearly from materials, to warranties, to installation options. As for pricing- we have found better prices online, but customer service and supporting local business plays a big factor in who we chose to go with, as long as the pricing is reasonable. So far the flooring we like is aprox $5 a sq foot, which is in the budget. We have not measured, purchased, or installed yet- so I will update this if there is any change to the exceptional service we have received. read more

When we decided to remodel our bathroom we knew we wanted to do two things: support a local business and buy products made in America. We walked into Quality Flooring Center (local company? check!) and asked to be directed to the products manufactured in America. (The nice thing about this strategy is that it also helps limit the almost overwhelming choices.) The gal showed us our options with confidence and we found a Daltile product we loved. Well, today we picked up our tumbled marble tile and the boxes all say "MADE IN CHINA." Huh? I had searched the daltile website, on which they list manufacturing facilities in America and Mexico. Not sure where the disconnect occurred but wish Quality Flooring was more familiar with the product they carry. Bottom line: we are happy to be supporting a local company but wish the saleswoman had taken a bit more time doing her homework. read more

We love our new carpet. Beautiful Mohawk silk. Reasonably priced and friendly staff (from Mary how measured my home to the installers to the staff at the showroom). Only small glitch was that they didn't bring enough carpet the first day, so the install rolled into two days. We love the outcome, especially the capped stairs. read more

Every aspect of working with Quality Flooring was great. They are highly professional, responsive and patient with all my questions and changing my mind on the color/finish. We ended up choosing Paradigm Waterproof flooring in a medium dark classic brown (St. Clair- Luxury vinyl plank) and am so happy with it. The 4" shaker baseboards were included in the project and look great as well. Installation was done a little earlier than projected. We used Quality Flooring Center to replace some old ceramic tile from our kitchen. We replaced it with a "enhanced" vinyl product that looks just like wood. It is waterproof and looks great. I can't say enough good things about Quality Flooring Center. The ladies in the office were very patient in helping me pick out some samples to take home. The installers were great. Quality flooring is wonderful. We ordered hardwood floors for our home in Healdsburg and due to weather delays etc. they ended up having to store the product for an extended period of time. At first my flooring came with no problem, but I soon found out that I was mis-qouted on the square footage and had to buy another box from another company. Then I had a huge headache trying to get the transition pieces from them. The manager lady was rude and treated us like we were stupid. The sales lady was very nice but made some crucial mistakes. This company is more aptly named "Mediocre Flooring Center". There were a lot issues with our project; poor quality of the hardwood flooring, botched installation which required many visits to correct, poor communication between the sales team and the installers, lack of any real customer service from the owner and numerous issues with invoices (all overcharges). The sales and install teams did eventually rectify their issues (after 2 months of trying). I am still shocked at the lack of concern and absence of proactive effort from the owner, Elaine. She really couldn't have cared less. I suggest you go elsewhere if you are looking for a 'quality' product and service. read more

Prior to moving to Petaluma in Nov, 2010, Quality Flooring was recommended by our Realtor. They tiled the laundry room and hall bathroom floorswithin the time frame we needed. Excellent job, tearing out, installing and grouting. Two wonderful workers (Sabino and Polo). We recently decided to carpet two bedrooms, previously covered with bamboo and laminate. Again, they ripped out the old, put tack strips, and installed padding and carpet. Great job with the transition strips. Sabino and Polo obviously very experienced as they did this job also. I'm very disappointed to say the least. After finding them online with good reviews, we decided to contact them to have our floors replaced. They quickly took our $100 to have an estimate done, but then they took a couple of days to get back to us, then they we're not timely in answering emails or phone calls about working with them. We tried contacting them several times to get our itemized estimate to which they still have not answered after several phone calls. They would routinely say, "The owner isn't here" or "we can't find your paperwork". They seemed to try to avoid my questions and weren't very helpful. We really like and appreciate Quality Flooring in Petaluma. My husband and I needed to replace carpet in our master bedroom and stairs to the 2nd floor of our house. The store on N. Petaluma Blvd has a very large selection of carpet, tile and wood. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and will work to try to find this best product for your house. The installers who work for Quality Carpet are excellent: they are detail oriented and easy to work with. They asked us to look over the work that was performed and when we noticed a small problem in one area of the stairs, they were able to fix it expertly. Over the 17 years we have lived in Petaluma we have bought most of all our Tile and Hardwood floor at Quality Flooring. I love that it is a local store with so much variety of products. Can spend a whole day there picking and choosing without being rushed. In my experience they are very competitive, friendy, and more than helpful. They have given us many a remodeling tip necessary to finish our DIY project. I enjoy shopping there because we do not get pressured into making a decision, they are knowlegable, they listen and communicate clearly what they need from us to make the project a success. Wednesday (6/16/10) no tile as promised. Finally came Thursday (6/17/10) but we were shorted alot of tile as the designer got the numbers wrong. Friday (6/18/10) my husband goes down to the store to try to work things out so we get the right amount of tile. He was not only threatened (para) "you better watch yourself or you're going to find yourself crumbled all over this floor" by the office lady who also happens to be the owners Mother, the owner himself tried to pass off the blame of the mistake on everyone but his designer who made the mistake in the first place (para) "You got a designer for free didn't you?". Now we have to wait another week for the tile they shorted us. My husband asked him who is going to pay for the tile installers we have waiting around for this NEW shipment of tile? The owner said it wasn't his problem. It was obvious he could care less about our situation that his company has put us in and his customers. The only person who gave us some solice in this whole equation was the designer who came up to my husband and apologized for her screw up. Also don't expect delivery, we were told we had to pick up 2 tons of tile ourselves until they were late on the delivery then they decided to deliver the tiles to us. We were also told by the Office Manager, Jeanette, when we initially went in to pick out tile (she was the one who helped us) that the tile we order would be here "OVERNIGHT" which is not the story at all. Eventually the owner agreed to pay for the overage fees because of their designers screw up. BIG BIG BIG NO on doing business with Quality Flooring in Petaluma. read more
