I cannot say enough great things about the Aha Baja Wine Tour that I was invited to for my friends birthday. From breakfast, to the fastest way to get back through the border and all the amazing stops in between, Karen and Andres had everything planned out. Karen was prepared with snacks when people were hungry and blankets and pillows when people were ready to take a power nap. They also took photos of everyone during the tour! How awesome is that? We went on a full day winery tour that started from San Diego and down to Valle De Guadalupe where we stopped at 3 winery venues and a 4th location for lunch. This was my second wine tour with Aha Baja Wine Tours, and just like my first tour, it did not disappoint!! Karen and Andres made the entire process so simple, from picking us up in San Diego, to crossing the border, to planning a flawless itinerary. Other than one spot I specifically wanted to visit, I told Karen I was open to her suggestions. Every single winery we visited had delicious, quality wines and a charming ambiance. I couldn't have created a better itinerary myself. I know friends that have hired a driver at the border or choose to drive themselves, but trust me, it's not the same experience. Karen and Andreas took care of all the reservations (which you absolutely need post COVID), timed all our tours perfectly so we did not miss the next reservation, and provided facts about the Valle on the drive rather than just act as our chauffeurs. To top it off, Karen and Andres are truly a pleasure. We enjoyed their company so much, it felt like we were old friends. Not only are they great conversationalists, but you can tell they have years of experience in the hospitality industry. They were the cherry on top of a memorable weekend! Pro tip: HIGHLY recommend doing the two-day tour rather than one-day if you have the time. The tour began with a warm welcome and casual breakfast in Old Town San Diego followed by a champagne toast to launch our ride (this is all inclusive with the trip). Our drive south and into Mexico was effortless, informative and beautiful due to the guides' experience and knowledge- the spring flowers made it exceptional. The vineyards we visited were prepared for our arrival and offered a warm welcome and a nice range of varietal tastings. The wine stewards were knowledgeable of the Valle wine history, sociable and took time to answer questions. The vineyards offered beautiful, quiet landscapes and scenic views for photo opportunities during our tasting experience. Lunch was provided at a quaint food-to-table restaurant where the food was fresh and delicious. Time was provided after lunch to walk the grounds and visit the gardens and animals. Karen and Andres operated the day in a very organized fashion, but our experience felt less like a tour and more like a personalized day with friends and family. We plan to use Aha Baja again in the near future. read more

From the first phone call I knew that my family and I were in for a treat. It was a Thursday, and we wanted to experience the wine tour on the Saturday. Karen and Andres made it happen with very short notice!! The day was flawless! Great wine, delicious food, and wonderful conversation. Had a wonderful time with Aha Baja Wine Tours. Traveled with my family in mid January for my B day. We were greeted at our hotel on time with ballons and champagne ! Bus was very comfortable and took us about 2 hours to get to Valle. On the way back, we had purchased a Fast Track ticket and we were to be cross the border in 30 minutes ( but we were lucky because it was holiday weekend in the states as well) Andres and Karen were wonderful tour guides and never rushed us. They were also very flexible during the weekend as it related to time and wineries. I would certainly highly recommend them and Aha Baja Wine tours. Well worth every penny/centavo ! read more

My husband and I had the most exceptional experience with Andre and Karen, owners of Aha Baja Wine Tours. We met them at 8:00 am at Congress Cafe In old town where they served us a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, we were on our way to Baja Mexico in a very comfortable luxury van and began our wine tasting tour. We visited 5 wineries and had an epic experience! From beginning to end, Karen was an excellent and professional communicator and planner. Andres was a great tour guide, easy and fun to hang out with and very flexible with our schedule. Incredible day with Andres - he took us to 2 breathtaking wineries with very generous tastings, a DELICIOUS lunch with the freshest ingredients, coffee, and tailored the day exactly to what we wanted (ie.
