I am very disappointed with my experience here. After reading many of the recent reviews, I can understand why this place has received so much negative feedback. I have visited before, but this time I decided to bring a friend who had never been. Unfortunately, the experience started off poorly. When we walked up to the hostess stand, the hostess didn't greet us or acknowledge us in any way. She was dismissive, inattentive, and ended up entering our order incorrectly. We tried to move past the rough start, but the service only got worse. My tri-tip sandwich arrived within about 10 minutes, while my friend's fried chicken sandwich didn't arrive until about 25 minutes later. During that time, no one checked on us or explained why the order was taking so long. We attempted to get the attention of the staff, but they seemed more interested in standing around talking to each other about unrelated topics than assisting guests. It was unprofessional, especially since customers could clearly hear their conversations. When my friend's food finally arrived, it was the wrong order. The server didn't apologize instead, she simply said, "That's crazy," took the plate, and walked away to get the correct meal. Shortly afterward, who I assumed was the manager came over, but she showed little concern or urgency regarding the situation. Rather than trying to resolve the issue or make things right, she seemed completely unreceptive. By the time my friend finally received the correct sandwich, my own meal had become cold from waiting. What made the experience even more frustrating was that the restaurant was practically empty, it was around 3:00 p.m. on a Wednesday yet the staff appeared to spend most of their time talking with one another instead of providing attentive service. To make matters worse, another server, a blonde woman wearing a green shirt, approached us and was unnecessarily rude. The overall lack of professionalism, attentiveness, and basic customer service from multiple employees was extremely disappointing. Having worked in food service for three years myself, I understand that mistakes happen. However, what matters is how they're handled. In this case, there was no communication, no accountability, and no genuine effort to correct the situation or make us feel valued as customers. Based on both my experience and the many similar reviews from other guests, it seems these issues are not isolated incidents. A lot of entitled disgusting behavior from the staff. I won't be returning or recommending this restaurant to others. read more

Always a great time at Ahba. I had their momenpop spritzer which is essentially an April spritz and it was so good. Their smashburger is the must order. I personally love getting the caesar salad as the side with an upgrade because it's the perfect balance! Food and drinks are always impeccable. Price definitely reflects that as well. FYI: this is an order then sit down style restaurant, so more casual style even though the ambiance makes you feel like you're in a fancy restaurant. I like the dichotomy! Dill Salad with Salmon 8.28/10- this comes with cucumbers with vinaigrette, lettuce, dill on top, feta, and pickled radishes. I could also taste a bit of kick from either paprika or cayenne pepper which was a nice surprise! The salmon was pretty good but I wish it had more seasoning - it felt a little bland compared to the vibrant flavors in the rest of the salad. I loved how fresh this salad was though! The cucumbers were crisp, the dill was fragrant, and the feta added this perfect creamy saltiness. The pickled radishes were tangy and added great crunch. You can also get this as a wrap version which would be really good too. Braised Lamb Pita Wrap 9.67/10- this comes with lamb, pickled radishes, dill, and mint. This was SO good! I absolutely love the braised lamb at Abha - they do it perfectly every single time. The lamb was so tender it literally fell apart and was packed with flavor. The braising process makes it incredibly juicy and rich. The pickled radishes added this perfect tangy crunch that cut through the richness of the lamb, and the fresh dill and mint made it so bright and herbaceous. The pita wrap was soft and held everything together beautifully. This pita wrap was absolutely phenomenal and definitely one of my favorites here! Sat at the bar on Sunday for brunch. Group of 4. When my order showed up I waited and waited for the other three meals to arrive before I asked and it was explained to me that it is very normal for their diners to not eat together since food frequently comes out separately. Truly did not know about this establishment! It's tucked away in the Camp plaza along with other cool stores that are non chain for the most part. But definitely local owned. We quickly got seated after our order with the host. You order first then selected your seating type of establishment. Anything additional is done via the mobile app. Even drinks were a la cart orders. Good and beverages here were ok. It's decent and tapas style, which is great for sharing. While it was an enjoyable experience, didn't have that extra flavor that I was expecting. In addition, server not telling us about the reserved table in the beginning and rushing us at the end didn't sit too well with our group. Overall, it's a great place to hangout and catch up with friends over light eats and drinks. Probably wouldn't want to come back due to the experience. Parking here on during Sunday lunch is kinda crazy. My cousin took 30 minutes to find parking, and ended up parking in the neighborhood adjacent then skateboarding over. Same for my brother, he ended up parking near the Lab across the street and walking over. My uncle paid for valet (which is at the opposite end of the shopping center). Fortunately, I found parking within 5 minutes (the parking gods were with me this day). It's kinda a disappointment how difficult it is to park here. Just bear in mind if you have a reservation at a certain time. AhbA was so amazing to reserve a table in the patio for a party 12 on the same day. Yes, I called them every 10 minutes until they answered the phone (it only took about 45 minutes, I was calling them like a crazy person in hopes to get a table). I was so pleased they were able to accommodate us. The ambiance in the patio was cottage chic. Mismatched tables and chairs, but with a hip/cool vibe. Nice place to come chat with your friends. The patio seating was mostly covered and provided a great hang out spot for my big family. Our server was on it. Super attentive, friendly, and patient. We had great service, our waiter checked in on us constantly and was patient with us throughout the ordering process. After placing our order, we found a seat downstairs. I guess upstairs wasn't open when we went, but it looks cool up there. Our drinks camr really fast. We both ordered the Joni which was a gin cocktail - super tasty! We also both ordered the Rigatoni + Cheese, can you tell we have good taste? Girl dinner! Soft doughy buttery bun, if it's smashed you want char crispy outside, but gotta keep it juicy, toppings not overpowering, American cheese, yes but not too much, caramelized onions - not raw, give me some heat; and give me some acid. It's dog friendly, you can find a nook for your party, and there are different seating options all over the place from being at the bar, to standard tables, benches, coffee tables, and high tables. It's all about atmosphere here that you're paying for. The burger and fries was decent. Now I'm pushin 30 so I'm starting to mature and appreciate what it means to go out to a restaurant and expect a certain standard of service. Especially when you go out to celebrate something. I made a reservation here at AhbA because one of my bridesmaids raved about how good the food was. I will say the food was delicious, can't say anything bad about that. The service however was atrocious. I've never gone to a restaurant and been called "bruh" so many times. Our server was a young man who NEVER ONCE checked on us and didn't even approach us after we were seated for 30 MINUTES! That's not a hyperbole either- I think he genuinely he forgot he sat us (a party of 10 btw). To top it off he would drag his feet in his slides he was wearing and roll his eyes when we asked for anything. Now I know this restaurant isn't fine dining or anything, but I feel like servers should not be in basketball shorts and Nike slides I was a server for quite a few years and I know there is a certain level of professionalism for staff and it felt that was simply lacking at this place- at least on this day it was. I really hope that this review can act as a catalyst for some positive change for this restaurant because the food was so good. The gist of the restaurant is you order at the very front and then seat yourself. If it's presumed to be a busy night, make a reservation or claim a spot early. My friends and I (about 10 of us who slowly came trickling in) managed to snatch a wide wooden outdoor booth right at the entrance. I ordered what I believe were chickens skewers with a type of blue cheese ranch dressing that was so delicious, and some type of spritzer that was very strong. I personally couldn't finish it since I had a long day of hopping from spot to spot already, but it was still pretty good.
