We also had the pepper pasta, clams (one of my friends had never even tried clams and loved them!), cacio e pepe, and Mary's chicken. The chicken was Korean-style and came with kimchi green beans that somehow tasted a little like dill pickles -- in the best possible way. We loved them! The service, though, was just...odd. My bestie and I both ordered dirty martinis with blue cheese olives. Mine came with them, hers didn't, and neither martini was nearly dirty enough. Once we got some extra olive brine they were much better. But the funniest part was when we reminded our server that my friend was still missing her blue cheese olives. She came back with a skewer of them IN HER HAND and just handed it directly to my friend. No plate, no napkin, nothing. We all just looked at each other like, "Did that really just happen?" So overall, I'd absolutely come back because the food was THAT good. The kitchen gets an easy 5 stars from me. I'm quite partial to the Meatloaf, Pot Roast, and Pan Roasted Chicken, but the Blackened Chicken Ciabatta with a Side Goat Cheese Salad has become a staple of week when I'm heading into work, need some energy, and to stay full for the rest of the day. As a server at another restaurant, I probably have different desire for service than typical customers, but their approach is how I enjoy being taken care. It's seems like a small crew so there are a lot of familiar faces any time I go in. Each server has a lot to offer in terms of personality and how they handle their tables, but all have a degree of professionalism in their work ethic that I appreciate. It's clear that I'm not the only regular and there is a lot of warmth in how they take care of their customers. As someone who visits by myself, it's noteworthy that their service remains as consistent as it would be for a larger party where they may anticipate a higher gratuity. Overall, it's homey and intimate space where the servers are extremely personable and the food is excellent: great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The salad arrived within about five minutes, but we then waited nearly 40 minutes for our main courses without any acknowledgment or update. When I asked our waitress about the delay, her only response was, "Your order was fired 15 minutes ago." When I asked why it had taken so long, she simply repeated the same statement. At no point did she offer a sincere apology or show any empathy for the extended wait. As someone who has owned and managed businesses, I know that delays can happen. However, a simple apology and proactive communication can make all the difference in how guests perceive the experience. The food itself was excellent, and both entrées were well prepared. Unfortunately, the service continued to disappoint. After we finished our meals, our waitress immediately cleared our plates and brought the check without asking whether we would like dessert, coffee, or anything else to finish our evening. That was surprising and made us feel rushed. I rarely leave negative reviews because I understand that every business can have an off night. In this case, however, the issue was not the kitchen delay--it was the lack of communication, empathy, and basic hospitality. Had our waitress simply apologized, kept us informed, or involved a manager, this review likely would not have been necessary. I hope management views this as constructive feedback. Andrea and several other staff members represented the restaurant exceptionally well, but I believe additional customer service training would help ensure that situations like this are handled with greater professionalism and care in the future.

The flavor of this dish was phenomenal. The chicken is tender and cooked to perfection, the sauce that comes with it is citrusy and herby. It tasted fresh and flavorful. Steep in terms of price, $30, especially since it doesn't come with any sides besides rice, but the flavor was well worth it. Really enjoyed this meal!
