2145 Eats is such a gem! Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our favorites were the lemon brown butter miso pasta, the blue cheese honey pepperoni pizza, and the crispy Brussels sprouts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio has a great atmosphere, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We can't wait to come back!

From the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed! They added heat lamps for us because we got chilly too! The food was fantastic too! We got a few vegetarian pizzas to share, brussek sprouts, and burrata. It was a perfect amount for 5 people and we only had a few slices leftover. The mushroom pizza especially was delicious.

OMG, this was a recommendation, and I'm so glad we decided to check it out! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe was a bit rock and roll, which I absolutely loved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu was straightforward and easy to follow. My husband and I were seated by our gorgeous server (I'm not sure if her name was Taylor or Jordan, but she had the best manicure, dark hair, and the sweetest smile). First, I ordered two drinks--yum and perfectly balanced. Then, I got marinated olives with mozzarella cheese. These were the best olives I've ever had; they were well-balanced with the salty and creamy flavors. Yum! Then, I ordered their salad with apricot slices, goat cheese tossed in a vinaigrette dressing that would make you slap your mother. Then, the star of the show arrived: this thinly crusted fresh mozzarella and basil pizza with crust so crispy, it was like eating potato chips. INSANELY delicious! Then, our server had the nerve to ask about dessert--of course, we ordered the banana tiramisu and the panicotti. Both desserts were delicious, but my favorite was the banana tiramisu. This place was a 10 out of 10 for me. I'll definitely be back!

Why 4 stars? Because the pizza was a nice final meal of our vacation. --- --- --- I was in Southern California for a week and ate like it was my job. 2145 Eats was our final stop before heading to the airport and calling it a vacation. We intended to go somewhere else initially, but pivoted to this. We ordered a margherita pizza, a prosciutto and burrata pizza and a caesar salad. All of it was really solid. We almost didn't order the prosciutto and burrata because it was sauce-less, but we ended up enjoying it. The salad might have been the best thing on the table, which is no slight against the pizza, but more about how enjoyable the salad was. Overall, we enjoyed our final stop. The parking lot is tiny and is valet-only, for $8, FYI.

We stopped for dinner after failing to find a parking space at a nearby taco shop before a film festival showing at OCC. Parking was limited, especially considering the size of the restaurant, though this may be an issue to restaurants in this part of Costa Mesa. The waiter recommended the blue cheese honey pizza and it was great, albeit a tad too sweet for my tastebuds. The dough was delicious, but their baking process was not perfect -- see the giant burnt bubbles in the center of our pizza and crust (far beyond the typical "leopard spotting" on Neapolitan pizza). We also ordered a ribeye and it was fantastic. The purple mashed potatoes were a colorful treat. Our service was good, but kitchen turn around time was slower than expected. If you're on a time crunch, like we were, save this place for a casual date night. I'd love to come back and see if the burnt pizza was a one off.

We went to 2145 Eats after a workout and I couldn't think of a better meal. It was absolutely delicious! The pork belly is definitely one of the show stoppers there, we were OBSESSED with the flavor. The argula and dressing complimented the pork belly nicely. I also loved the garlic pizza we got, I am a huge fan of garlic and it had such a good amount! Our other pizza was delicious too, but I do prefer the garlic one better. The fries were also delicious, with a nice crunch and some house made sauces to compliment them. Since it just opened up, there was plenty of room for us and we were seated quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed sitting on the patio and it was pretty cool given there's shade in that area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely come back again!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute date night/hang out spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went on a Tuesday & they do a special martini menu for Tuesday nights. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outdoor seating area was so comfortable - perfect spot to get together with friends![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Hailey was so sweet and the food came out so quickly & was so amazing. We got their burrata snack as an appetizer, it was a 10/10 and we ate it too quickly to get a pic. The mushroom pizza & caesar salad were delicious and tasted so fresh. I can't wait to go back and try more pizzas!

Ohhhh yeahhhh! Finally got to check this off my list. Their food does not disappoint!! The cocktails are beautifully crafted and they taste amazing!!! Their Caesar was delicious and large!! Enough to share! The pizzas!! We got 3 different ones to share and they were all delicious!!! My favorite was the Calabrese with hot honey. The sausage one was our other fave. Parking is valet or you can find parking across the street.

A really cool spot with great food and drinks. Came on a Thursday night around 5:30 and there was no wait. Sat on the back patio which had heaters. Dog friendly restaurant FYI. Our server, either Melissa or Marissa, was awesome. Very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. She was perfectly attentive and just an all around great server which is not altogether common nowadays. We had the Brussels sprouts which were so good but a smaller portion than I expected. That could have been because they were on HH. The blue honey pizza was amazing too! Great flavor combo. Loved the crust!! Wood burning ovens are a totally different experience than I'm used to- the crust is almost like naan bread and not a typical pizza crust. Would I come back? Probably not because I live in Laguna niguel but I would recommend this restaurant to those who have never been. My Paloma was delicious too!

    Valet only parking.

Food is good, service is excellent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant is very rustic style,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for a quick bite - whether solo or group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great pizza. The garlic cheese bread is very salty. Meat balls are ok. It's been a couple of years since we've been here cuz it's such a hassle to get here, location wise, plus it's valet only parking.

The pizza dough it's great, however I am not impressed nor will I be returning. The Tiger Shrimp Pasta was so gross, we had to have it remade. The Mushroom Pizza is the best thing on the menu probably. The marinara sauce is too thin & watery on all the other pizzas. The Cesar Salad is alright, nothing special. The Fries saved the day because they were amazing but why tf are they $10? lmao. Servers were a mess, so unorganized. We got so many items on the house because they messed up on so many things.

Diavola pizza was amazing! That's a mezcal cocktail, packaged in a dainty wrapper. Like brass knuckles in a velvet bag.
    Steve G.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool place, with a relaxed but special vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a full bar with a strong craft cocktail menu. Neapolitan pizza with great salads and appetizers. Serviced is friendly and attentive. It's on the slightly pricey side, but the vibe is there if you're looking for a casual night out with a little sparkle.

Came here for dinner last Thursday. Good food and service. Haven't been here in a while but my hubs was here with his friend a week ago and enjoyed it. Valet parking only but if you don't mind walking and getting some steps, it's right next to a residential area where there's plenty of street parking. We had a couple of appetizers that were good - melon (honey dew) and prosciutto and brussel sprouts. For entrees, we ordered salmon and Gabagool pizza (with cured pork, hot honey, basil and San Marzano marinara).

The vibes are still intimate and drinks are still strong which is AWESOME. I noticed they expanded the space a bit toward the back recently to offer a little more seating. It's great so that each patron/party has a comfortable, undisturbed experience. It's not a crowded, loud, or messy type of bar. Love that they initially provide us with water before we order. Old Fashioned was fragrant and smooth. Orange peel scent was pleasantly present throughout the drink - they used a spray instead of zest - impressive! My partner prefers his whiskey with stronger flavor than the default Makers Mark though he might ask for a different whiskey next time. *RATED 8/10 Fuzzy Navel was sweet and flavorful just as I like it. Major points for the foam being vegan-friendly as is. The foam texture is fun and very peach forward. The Cheong (Korean fruit preserve) is apparently different sometimes - this time, it was blueberry. First time taking my boyfriend here and he LOVED the experience. We'll be back!

After a farewell dinner to/at Gulliver's Prime Ribs Of Beef, our party of six continued the evening several miles away at Stowaway for some light bites and libations. Personally, I was all about the Hawaiiana tiki culture and tried to live it every day. Founded by co-owners Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, its current home of barely three years in a former dive bar came about when they unceremoniously had to leave the original location. With its proximity to Disneyland's Enchanted Tiki Room and the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture, they found their footing with a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, and tropical trimmings. Would I stow myself away somewhere inside and never leave!? PURCHASE(S) Don Q Punch Bowl ($38.00): Made with Don Q's Cristal Silver, Anejo, and 151 Gold Rums, respectively, peach brandy, passion fruit, pineapple juice, and citrus juices, this flaming concoction was rumtastic in every way possible as the tropical juices just made it that much sweeter. There were more ice chips than I liked, but it was a fun trough to drink out of for the four of us who wanted to imbibe. Coconut Shrimp 6pc ($12.00): Breaded and flash-fried plump shrimp served with a sweet chili dipping sauce, these were tasty and perfectly paired with the Don Q cocktail I was drinking. Stowaway Fries ($17.00): Constructed with a pile of crisp golden spud sticks, rum braised pork, and topped with a hearty gravy and sunny-side up egg, this loco moco fries dish was slamming while the slightly charred juicy pork had me squealing with enjoyment. SERVICE We had reservations, so once our entire party arrived, they quickly seated us in a cool cave-live separate alcove for more privacy. Our server arrived with menus, suggestions, and glasses of water. Minutes later, we all ordered at once, and everything (drinks and food) arrived within ten minutes. Because we had another reservation inside the same bar, we informed our male server and to let us know when we were allowed to go there. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located within a strip mall, you opened the front door and walked into an island oasis as if you were a cast member on "Gilligan's Island" with thatched roof material above you, tiki statues displaced on all of the volcanic-looking walls, collections of tiki mugs past and present for purchase, a central square bar with plenty of stools, and seemingly small dark nooks and private spaces where naughty things could happen. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights barely guided you along. There were no TVs while I recalled various styles of music played in the background along with chatter and clamor of conversations in all directions. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice. OVERALL I had a cowabunga time at Stowaway, and I couldn't wait to return to try more of their awesome-soundling elixirs. I loved tiki bars, and although this was generally out of my range, I'd make a special trip or two here. My one drink was lip-smacking good, the pupus were yummy, the prices were reasonable enough, the atmosphere was stupendous, and the service was friendly and professional. While the drinks menu was loaded with tropical cocktails, an impressive rum selection, and a decent assortment of local craft beers, the food menu was somewhat limited. And, the bar had happy hour TU-FR 4pm-6pm. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $75.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS
