If you haven't tried a place like this, its basically a deconstructed sushi roll. Think qdoba style bowl building with sushi ingredients! The sushi and ingredients were all very fresh. They have a lot of bowl recipes to choose from but I decided to go freestyle and make my own using Ahi and spicy tuna. For the price of 1 roll at a restaurant, I got about 1.5-2 rolls worth of sushi, great deal. The restaurant is clean a inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful. Service was fast as well! The options are there, but the charges and upgrades beyond the proteins is a bit much. $41 for a large, a regular, a teppenyaki chicken, and two drinks. I even think they even charged me for the ice. I happened upon this restaurant by accident. I had never had poke before but it is basically sushi in a bowl. I love it. I haven't tried anything on the menu that is an actual dish that they created. But since I found them, I have ordered from there at least four or five times. Each time I do the create your own option. The staff is super helpful. The store is clean and well organized, and the staff are incredibly courteous and helpful for first-timers. There's even a vegan option that doesn't appear to lack in flavor! We ordered the Fire Cracker and Unagi Bowls. Both were prepared quickly from scratch in front of us, with the option to make any changes to ingredients or sauces. We enjoyed both as they come on the menu. The flavors were beyond any poké bowl or sushi I've had in the past (including a recent trip to Jacksonville for sushi!!). No need for soy sauce! Honestly, there is nothing we would change about the food or restaurant.
