I was looking for a home town restaurant. This fit the bill. Food was good and service was great.

Unassuming strip center location showcases family-owned restaurant serving up great home-style southern classics. Breakfast menu was solid; our meal choices were all delish with good-sized portions. Host/wait staff were friendly but Service timing could definitely use some work. they could well have been short-staffed but coffee should not take 20 minutes to arrive with food another 20 after order (especially for breakfast fare). My whole family had a late breakfast after my brother graduated army aviation. This cute little diner has lots of tables for small or large groups. Their breakfasts are wonderful. The smoked sausage is crispy and delicious. You will not leave hungry. I don't often get anything other than breakfast but when I do it is always good. The blackened grouper is a favorite. The chili dogs are good but they they are made with regular chili, not hotdog chili. You will get the beans too The owners and staff are there to please. Try it. My family and I enjoy the food here! Service is decent.. The new staff isn't as fast and efficient as the guy who used to serve us all the time, I wish I knew his name. He was always a joy to see, always smiling and taking care of every table in good spirits. We miss him! But anyways, I feel like I am almost always happy with my food there. Was in town for the night and it was recommended by the hotel. My son and I both got the corned beef hash. It was straight from a can. Typical hash that's on the cusp of being too salty.
