I don't usually eat raw, but the guy behind the counter said it was one of his favorites. They can let you sample it first before you pick it for your protein. My bowl contained spicy salmon, cooked shrimp, jalapeños, green onions, crab meat, and seaweed salad. Everything is so fresh! They have different toppings and sauces you can choose from. A favorite for me, always worth a quick fifteen to twenty minute drive for good food. I usually get an order to go, I've been going here since they first opened & they always been consistent with fresh food & ingredients with wonderful service. My base is typically white rice, it's always soft & fluffy, never old. There are a lot of poke options, I'd recommend any of the shoyu, hawaiian, or caviar ones. The others ones I just haven't tried. Their seaweed toppings is great, I love that these are in strings versus the flat seaweed pieces that other places have. Avocados are fresh, never browning & the crab salad is a must. I do miss that they no longer offer masago for a topping, but I'm sure there's a reason whether it's accessibility or price. Friendly staff, quick service. I paid about $17 total for a regular bowl (two poke scoops, up to 5 toppings), not a bad price with a large portion. If you like poke, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. read more

I'm not sure what kind of customer service experience does the employees have but it's clearly very limited. I walked to the ordering station, I started my order with the girl in the front. She said "Can you speak louder" in a rude manner. Then when we got to the toppings area, I got pineapples. She had one hand with glove and the other one without glove while scooping. A piece of pineapple was stuck on the tongs and she used her hand without glove to drop the piece down into my bowl. I couldn't believe she did that tbh. Then I told her to remove the piece, she then proceed to use that same hand without glove to pick it out of my bowl. On top of that, she was on the phone on speaker while working. Insane work. This has been my go-to poke place in the area for years! The amount of food you get for the price is very much worth it, especially since you're able to pick 5 toppings. I didn't know this until my last visit but the avocado is free! :o Definitely a bonus. The food is always fresh and very filling. Everytime I eat here, I have to save it for a later meal. (Girl math says that it's basically two meals in one bowl :P) Service is quick and efficient and when combined with a yummy meal, it's a no-brainer. This has been my favorite lunch spot in Arlington for years, but I have had to cut back because of the price increases. I went in today, and it has gone up yet again. A small bowl has gone up $3 in a year and a half and is now $11.99. That is about a 33% increase. I understand that the cost of things have gone up, but the quality has also dropped. The quality of the fish is still there, but the last two times I have gone in the rice has been on the mushy side. Today the salad was less than fresh and the edamame was still frozen. This place is decent. The price is a little absurd. I feel like the price to ratio of food is slim. If you get a large bowl it comes with 5 toppings but if you get the same topping twice, they charge you $1.25. I think that is ridiculous since you're still only getting the same number of toppings. They don't have as many options for toppings as other Poke places. This place is ok, I'm really bummed about the additional price gouging. The three I would stick with the spicy ahi tuna. As expected, the tofu was very bland and dry. As for the toppings, I had the seaweed onions, green onions & ginger. You get plenty of ginger and you get plenty of seaweed which is really really nice. As for the size of the bowl, when I ask for large I felt it was pretty medium and include that with a bottle of topachico, there is no fountain drink service, with a small tip came out to be around $22. So light on portions mediocre on taste and heavy on the price. But I go back there again, probably not unless I was invited by someone else to go. My favorite item was the shoyu ahi tuna, which surprised me because I usually love salmon more. The spicy salmon was good as well. Everything was delicious as a whole. When ordering my poke bowl, I couldn't substitute any items or add on items. The establishment was a Subway-style Choose Your Ingreidients but some of the choices looked like they've been in there for a long time...the lady creating my bowl seemed in a rush and almost exasperated when she had to explain I couldn't substitute items even though I *still* have to pay full price for a small Poke Bowl which is unfittingly called "Regular Size". Checked out this place with my girlfriend and sister on a Saturday afternoon before heading back to Austin. When we got here the place was empty so we weren't expecting dine in, but we ended up being able to sit down and enjoy our meal. The restaurant had only a few protein options, but unlike many poke places they had ones that already had sauce and seasoning on them such as Hawaiian Salmon, Shoyu Salmon and others. The topping and sides were also a bit limited, but I had enough that I was still able to make a pretty decent bowl. The servers were quick and very kind with us. One of them even hooked me up with a free water when I went back up after my meal which was great considering they didn't have a fountain to get any. I was so excited that Poke had finally arrived on the mainland and Arlington, TX of all places. The concept was new to the area, the food was fresh and tasty, and the prices were reasonable. Now, 4 years later in the midst of a world pandemic a few things have changed for the worse. With all things considered I expected a price increase. Product cost has increased, so you have to increase your prices..this is a given. However it is not acceptable when you increase your prices and decrease on quality. I have started to notice an obvious change in the freshness of ingredients. In addition, the servers seem to only half fill the already tiny scoops used to add fish to your bowl! If I am going to pay prices that far exceed the prices found on the islands, I demand quality and the same quantity that I received in the past. I just paid over $16 for a large bowl full of rice and hardly any fish or other ingredients. I got home to find a bland and almost inedible dinner. This is not cool Ahi Poke Bowl. If you are going to charge these prices please be consistent with the quality. read more

I do remember the staff being very patient with me and letting me sample the poke, the sauce, everything. I usually order the regular half salad half rice, spicy tuna and I think Hawaiian salmon? I might have gotten those mixed up. But I feel like all the proteins are good. The poke is always fresh, the staff has been friendly, I like the variety of poke. I also like that at the side of the store, there are containers for extra sauce/condiments to go if you'd like. The only thing is they're a bit stingy with the protein. Also, I saw some other poke places with yellow pickled radish and thought that was super good but they don't have that here. I'll be back for my monthly poke cravings. read more

Here are some of the reasons why it is better than the rest: 1) Great selection of proteins - I like the Cajun tuna, caviar salmon and hawaiian salmon, but they also have yellowtail, shrimp, calamari and even tofu 2) Big servings - a large w 3 scoops is $10.95 and definitely fills you up 3) No up-charge for toppings - you get up to 5 and they don't add $1 for premium items like crab and seaweed salad or avocado 4) Sauce station - halfway through your bowl, if you've finished the spicy mayo or poke sauce, you can walk over and add as much as you want. You can also add fried onion for a bit of crunch. This is almost as dangerous as the self-serve butter station for popcorn at the movie theater! I didn't pay attention to the cost as I was too excited and going all out. They had the seaweed, cucumber, crap meat, etc. They are generous with the avocado and toppings. The food is affordable and the location is clean. Beautiful painted wall to admire. They also have framed news clippings from back home and local newspapers entertain you in the line.
