My first visit to Okinawa was an easy 4 stars. The service was great, and they had a decent AYCE selection. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to host my birthday dinner here. I called almost two months in advance to make a reservation. I specifically asked if they could accommodate a large party of 25-30 guests, and they assured me they could. They told me we would be seated in a private party room. The day before my reservation, I called again to confirm everything. I gave them my final headcount and asked once more if we would still be seated in the private room. They reassured me that we would be in a separate area of the restaurant. Great! I was super excited to celebrate my birthday here. I arrived early so I could figure out the seating arrangements, only to find out that we were seated right in front of the entrance. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I spoke to the hostess, and she told me there was another party in the private room. I explained that I had called to confirm my reservation and was told that room was reserved for us. Her reasoning? The other party had 29 people, while mine had 28. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL...? Then, I believe the manager came over and asked what the issue was. I explained the situation, and she told me that the employee who spoke with me on the phone was new. ARE YOU SERIOUS? So you're telling me the person I spoke to yesterday was new, and the person I spoke to two months ago was new too? How convenient. I know my group can get a little loud when we're together, which is exactly why I requested a private area...not a table right in front of the door in the middle of the restaurant. The service was mediocre. The food was mediocre. Toward the end of the dinner, the manager offered me a gift card for the inconvenience. No thank you. We'll be taking our business elsewhere.

Idk how this place is 4.6 stars, im not even trying to be negative but the sushi is flavorless it actually tastes worse than air. The service was awful it took forever to order anything and forever to get anything. The environments nothing crazy but no matter how good it was it wouldnt save the sushi. Please do not come here dont trust the reviews, its not good. at all. worst sushi ive ever had.

Despite not being a sushi lover, I visited Okinawa Asian cuisine for the first time for a Saturday birthday lunch. Despite being AYCE with a huge menu, it is extremely affordable at $30 per adult person. I took a photo of the menu outlining the pricing structures further. I avoided all sushi items (which obviously comprised a majority but not the entirety of the menu) but tried the: Katsu chicken: Japanese style fried chicken cutlet coated in crispy Panko, topped with katsu sauce Crispy calamari: Deep-fried calamari served with sweet chili sauce Steak hibachi: Cooked on the grill, served with veggies and fried rice I was not floored by any of the menu items, but that is to be expected as they seem to specialize in sushi items. It did the job. Other members of my party downed literally 250+ pieces of sushi sashimi. Despite us having a large party ordering so many items, service was impeccable - fast and attentive. All in all, I cannot comment on the sushi, but I appreciate that they have a vast and affordable menu. Worth a try at the very least!

When I am craving sashimi, I always come here. I love that you can get small amounts of appetizers so you can dry many things, I also love that you can get so much sashimi and such a great price. I swear my stomach is swimming because of all the fish I ate... So amazingly tasty I'm so happy the service was great of course. Always there to help you if you need a refill or anything. And the atmosphere is very clean very fresh. It never smells fishy thank God... I will definitely be back.

The food was soooo good!!! They had such a selection of food! The service was super kind and even took us out to the top deck to take pictures! The cruise was clean and beautiful and the music was great!!

I absolutely loved the restaurant! I truly enjoyed everything I ordered, and believe me I ordered a lot! I loved that everything was fresh. We had a large group and the staff handled us so well. All our food came out fast and our drinks never went empty. I will definitely be back for some more of those jalapeño poppers

Our first time here and the service is great! Food came out pretty quick and this place offers a lot of options!

Welly served us today. The service was quick and friendly! The appetizers came out fast. We enjoyed the crispy calamari, fried gyoza, shrimp tempura, shrimp shumai (from fave to least fave). Must get the crispy calamari for sure. Great value for the price. I've been to AYCE sushi places before and the dinner menu is definitely worth it. My favorite was the spicy Cajun white tuna, the salmon sashimi, and the salmon hibachi was just what I was wanting for a cooked salmon. They also have a dessert bar. The strawberry mousse was good. Definitely come here for your AYCE sushi craving. We'll be back. The vibes are more classy in my opinion. Thanks for a great experience.

I've been to several AYCE sushi spots in DFW. As much as I wanted to enjoy this place, I don't think it quite stacks up to the competition. Firstly, drinks are not included in the AYCE pricing, unlike other places I've been to. Also all the portions are super small, and the sushi assembly is sloppy. The flavor, freshness, and quality are fine. Nothing was really notable in my opinion. I loved seared salmon, and I saw they had an option here, but the sear was incredibly weak, and I wouldn't even say it was a proper sear. Ironically, I did like the dessert bar they had. Service was friendly, but I was clearly eating with a young kid under 10, but they still changed her adult pricing.. I was hoping there would be more transparency in the pricing. I personally wouldn't recommend this place. I think it's definitely worth the drive to north Dallas for better AYCE places.

Okinawa Asian Cuisine is located in Arlington, Tx directly behind the Parks mall serving an all you can eat sushi experience and more! We came through on a weekday during lunch to try out this newly established restaurant and were in for a treat! Upon entering we were greeted instantly with a warm welcome from the lovely hostess and were seated promptly. Inside of the restaurant was decorated and designed fashionably in a modern way and was also clean and well lit. The restaurant serves and all you can eat experience that is served a' la carte in which you pick from the menu in order from your server. They have and abundance of food choices to pick from everything ranging from sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and even rice and noodle dishes. We tried a little bit of everything, and all the dishes were good we had. I personally enjoyed all of the appetizers such as the fried pork cutlet and tempura as well as the yaki udon and sushi rolls. Overall, we enjoyed this place and will definitely be back to try more dishes since we ate and ate until we couldn't eat anymore. Thank you, Okinawa Asian cuisine, for having us here and providing excellent customer service and tasty food!

We did the all you can eat and everything was delicious. The fried gyoza, spicy crabmeat roll, mega shrimp roll, sunset roll, and my favorite the rattlesnake roll!

Food quality is good overall for AYCE sushi buffet. Service is fairly quick and server was very nice and polite.

Okinawa absolutely delivered. The food was flavorful and came out really fast! Our server, Allen, was also amazing! Allen was attentive without hovering and super friendly. He checked in at the perfect times and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming.10/10 for an AYCE and price is reasonable!

They both gave great recommendations for food and drinks. We got Nepali Reaper Momos, Sichuan momos, chicken chow mein, mango habanero tofu, an old fashion and a strawberry margarita. Everything was flavorful, but my favorites were the Nepali-style fries, the sichuan momos, and the chicken chow mein. The reaper momos were good but they were pretty spicy (coming from people who ordered most of the spicy things on the menu haha). The interior was ornate and beautiful but again, the service is what couldn't be beat. Rasham went above and beyond to provide an experience for us showering us with bubbles for a nice photo and adding some flare and glitter to my strawberry margarita. Their seaweed toppings is great, I love that these are in strings versus the flat seaweed pieces that other places have. Avocados are fresh, never browning & the crab salad is a must. I do miss that they no longer offer masago for a topping, but I'm sure there's a reason whether it's accessibility or price. Friendly staff, quick service. Step 4: Name every roll after either a volcano, a ninja, or an apocalypse. Komodo Loco apparently looked at that formula and said, "Nah." This place has actual character. The restaurant is dark and cool without feeling like you're being interrogated. There are cozy little nooks everywhere, and somehow it manages to feel both laid-back and upscale. Like if a speakeasy and a sushi restaurant had a child who grew up with excellent taste. Then the food arrived. Look, I've had plenty of sushi. I've had good sushi. I've had "my friend won't stop talking about this sushi" sushi. Komodo Loco belongs in the last category. The fish was incredibly fresh, but what really stood out was that the rolls didn't all taste like slight variations of spicy mayo negotiating with cream cheese. The flavors were genuinely original. We ordered the Crispy Rice Bites, the T-Dub Roll, and the Horacio Roll based on our server's recommendations. The Crispy Rice Bites were so good I briefly considered ordering a second round before I had finished the first. The T-Dub Roll disappeared from the plate so quickly that I suspect it may have violated several laws of physics. The Horacio Roll was one of those dishes that makes you stop talking mid-sentence and stare into the middle distance while reconsidering every life choice that led you to not order two of them. Which brings me to our server: Breann. Or Breanna. I apologize for not knowing which one. In my defense, I was busy entering a committed relationship with sushi. My daughter is moving to Denton, and since we don't live here, we asked what we should order. Breann/Breanna immediately became the Gandalf of menu navigation. There was no hesitation. No "everything is good." No vague server diplomacy. Just confident recommendations that absolutely delivered. She was kind, funny, helpful, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. More importantly, she made my daughter feel at home in a city she's about to call home. As a dad, that meant a lot. I also loved how Komodo Loco celebrated Pride Month. Not because restaurants have to weigh in on everything, but because the atmosphere simply communicated: "Hey, you're welcome here." And honestly, that's one of the best things a restaurant can do. Good food fills your stomach. A welcoming place fills the room. Komodo Loco managed to do both. So yes, I'll be back every time I'm in Denton. My daughter thinks she's moving here for school. I think she's moving here so I'll have an excuse to eat at Komodo Loco several times a year. One of us is probably right.
