These poki bowls are so good and very decently priced! All the toppings for the bowls are so fresh and delicious! I did a half rice and half salad bowl (way more bang for your buck for sure). The spicy house sauce was the dressing I chose and I was not sorry! It was the perfect amount of heat. Next time I'm thinking about trying the cream spicy house sauce! We really enjoyed the design-you-own Poke bowls: choice of Rice's or salad or 50/50, then scoops of sashimi (take your pick 1-3 scoops or more), then choice of sauces and toppings. Everything was very fresh and tasty! Two of us shared a large portion (as we usually do) with extra scoop - for $15. There are 15 of these in CA, a dozen in AZ and 1 in WA. The only reason that I gave them 4 rather than 5 stars is because they only offer the meals in plastic containers and drinks in plastic cups. Since we are trying to reduce plastics drastically, it feels awful to know that we are threatening the supply of the very fish that we are enjoying. Hey Ahipoki! The food at Ahi Poki was good, but when I went, they were out of many of the items I requested in the bowl. Also, their workers didn't quite have their masks on correctly- noses popping out, mask falling down their chins, etc. It seems that the workers were bothered by the people coming in. I do you like Ahipoki. Their fish is decently fresh, and the fact that they do scallops/seafood as an option in a Poki dish is great. If you are doing takeout remember to grab the chopsticks, napkins etc. yourself (they do not put them in the bag). The only reason for four stars is they have many different types of sauces, but the only gluten-free sauces they can offer is chili oil, sesame oil, and a gluten-free soy sauce. I was a little disappointed that they had multiple other specialty sauces but they couldn't do like one ginger vinaigrette or some such special sauce that was gluten-free. read more

I went in here with such high hopes after reading the reviews and I was so disappointed. I observed the bearded server behind the counter was extremely rude to a lady in a wheelchair. The lady was not in a position to see the choices and he offered no assistance with anything. She was kindly asking about a special they advertised and he was so gruff with her that I got very upset myself. Finished climbing Mount Humphreys with my son and we were looking for something full of protein but not so heavy that it would undo all the calories we burned. Ahipoki was the perfect solution. We both got the triple scoop large with the Tai Ice Tea. Ahipoki is the Chipotle/Blaze Pizza of Poke. Everything was fresh and the greens were......well....green and clean just like they should be. For lunchtime sushi, this place is awesome. I Actually prefer this to some of the other places in town and have always had great experiences. It is clean, fresh sushi and can't beat it for the price. The regular bowls are VERY filling, I usually can't finish them. When I get a rice bowl I ask them to put it in the salad tray simply because it is so much easier to eat. After the last time I went, I got food poisoning (the only food I had eaten that day, so I know that's what it was) and had to cancel important plans. Oddly enough, I think it might have been the specialty fountain drink rather than the food, but have no way of knowing for sure. I miss eating here but won't take that risk again. Also, most (not all) of the employees seem apathetic to be there and irritated to answer basic questions. But I guess that's college kids for ya. This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised! Told the guy (who I'm assuming was the manager) that it was my first time and he was super helpful! He was very kind and explained how everything worked, what different things were, and even let me know that I could add miso soup for a dollar. Yummy! I love this place! I like how they have a second floor. Place is clean and the vibrance is nice. I like it's just right by Dutch bros and stores nearby. Prices are good as well. I am quite amazed how they have good seafood regardless how far flagstaff is from any seafood locations. I do think they need to cut off the tuna and salmon just a tad bit cause it was kinda hard to chew the raw fish cause of how slightly thick they are. I am so excited that Ahipoki has a new home in Flagstaff. I fell in love with the food at one of their Scottsdale locations. I crave it!! This is such a great place to get a clean and fresh meal that won't leave your stomach feeling gross or your wallet empty. The regular size is plenty and is 9.95. Their tuna luau is so tasty! Try it on a salad with the Spicy Creamy dressing. My family thought it was like sushi in a bowl. A super way to satisfy a sushi craving for a lot less money. read more

This is so sad for me to write, this used to be my favorite place in Flagstaff but now I don't know when/if i'll return. ): I've been three times since they went under new management and each time the portions are so so small. Im seriously not one to complain but i'm talking TINY... Premium toppings used to cost extra (which makes total sense) but now all extra toppings cost extra so I ended up paying $22 for a bowl with half as many ingredients as their former $12 bowl. I really like this place, they have tasty food and reminds me of my poki places back home. Lost a star though, since I feel they're being cheap with their portion sizes. This is mostly being compared to other poki bowl places I've been to, which I feel is fair. I always get a regular bowl and finish every morsel, but not completely full. The portion scoopers are insanely small for the proteins, as well as the avocado (which is extra anyways), and the edamame. Still delicious! So here's the thing, I have been eating here ever since they opened and it's good reliable food. During quarantine business are doing the best they can. This is still the same quality but much less on the quantity! Ordering online through an app there is only one size (large aka 3scoop) all the options and add on prices are the same however the order I got was less then the small (aka two scoop) that I usually order. We had a random weekday afternoon free and decided to pop in to Ahipoki for lunch. We've seen it around for a little bit but never stopped. It's very casual, which is nice. You order at the counter and your food is prepared in front of you. The girl that was working was super helpful because we had no idea the process or what half of the ingredients really were. She walked us through the steps very sweetly and answered any questions we had about flavors and what to combine with what. Once our food was all piled together- spicy tuna, salad, shrimp, and lots and lots of little extras- she rang us up. This is where were weren't so in love, the price is a little steep. I understand fresh, raw fish is something you have to do right and it might be a little extra but it was over $25 for two of the small portion lunches and just water to drink. I will say everything tasted great, we ate every bite! I can't say we will choose this place regularly but when we have a craving for some good raw food, this is where we will go. read more

We usually never have a bad experience but tonight we did. My husband and I walked in for dinner at 8:35pm on a Sunday. The website says they don't close till 9. They had everything cleaned and put away when we walked in. It was dead silent. A employee stood in the middle of a group of girls and they all just laughed at us when we walked in. The other employee, behind the register, didn't say a word to us until we asked what was going on. We went across the street to Some Burros instead. When we drove away both girls were sitting at a table with the group of girls just talking and being on their phones. Hopefully the owner of the business sees this and is made aware of the bad employees scheduled tonight. I'll make a call tomorrow for a manager. read more
