My family came in to try this place on a rainy and cold day. We were visiting from the east valley and this place had really good reviews! My boys ordered the loco moco and loved it! So much so, they have been craving it and cannot find another place that tastes the same. I ordered their two fish taco special which was different than any other fish taco I've had, but very good! We also tried their corn and shrimp chowder which was amaaaaaazing! My son ordered the hurricane drink and said it was strong but very tasty. This place seemed like a little gem to the locals. Their customers seem very happy to be there and the guys running it are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming in if you're in the area. They have something for everyone. Four stars for the food... five stars for Scott. We wandered into Tiki Grill and ordered the Pittsburgh Burger, because honestly, who can resist a burger stacked high with fries and coleslaw? It's basically a sandwich that looked at a side order and said, "Hop on, we're going together." Then Scott, the owner, came by. Turns out he's a former white-tablecloth restaurant guy who decided to bring his culinary wizardry to a laid-back grill. And you can feel it immediately. The guy doesn't just run the place, he hosts it. Now let's talk surprises. The hidden gem of the night was the ratatouille. Yes... ratatouille. At a grill known for burgers. And it was the best ratatouille I've had in 25 years. Somewhere in Provence a French grandmother just nodded approvingly. The onion rings? Fried perfection. Crispy, golden, and exactly what onion rings aspire to be when they grow up. The burgers themselves were a bit overcooked for my taste, which is the only reason this lands at four stars instead of five. But Scott's presence at the restaurant more than made up for it. The guy genuinely cares about his guests, checks in, chats, and makes the whole place feel welcoming. Small restaurant with really great food! I got the fried fish bites with Cajun fries. Tiki rubbed wings (crispy deliciousness) and a catfish sandwich. Everything was a solid 10/10 all the food was amazing. This is truly some of the best comfort food I was very satisfied with my meal. While passing through Flagstaff we stopped here for lunch. We had found this place back in October but it happened to be closed then. We are really really glad we came back! It's a little place with huge flavors! You order at the counter then find your table. We ordered drinks, a tikirita and a margarita. Both were solid. For food, since it was wing Wednesday, I ordered the Cajun spiced, honey tossed wing plate (fries and slaw). The wings are some of the best I've ever had. They brought ranch but imo that would have been an insult to the flavor! Fries and slaw were delicious too. My beautiful bride had the blackened shrimp tacos. Wow! Delicious! After spending the morning at Snowbowl skiing, we decided to come here for comfort food not wanting the food at the lodge. We typically get pizza after, but this time I convinced my friends to get something out of the norm and they agreed to come here. There was something for everyone! My vegetarian friend enjoyed her quinoa bowl, another couple of friends ordered the grilled mahi bites which were light and enjoyable and a decent sized portion. I saw that the fried red snapper, the entire fish, was one of their specials so I ordered that! I was so happy! It was just the right amount of food for me especially with the sides! The rice was ok, but the ratatouille was a real treat! I mean, I never really see ratatouille unless I go to a French restaurant so it was such a surprise to see it at this little chill seafood/tiki place! You order everything you want and even get your fountain drink if desired and then keep ordering more if you want, and you don't pay until the very end. If you are too full, order one of their ooey gooey butter bars to go. So rich, buttery, sweet and amazing for dessert. THIS PLACE DESERVES EVERYTHING. They make some of the best seafood tacos that I've ever had. And for such a hot state in Arizona in the middle of the summer. The weather in flagstaff is soo nice so we are outside in the tables in front of the restaurant. We tried the grilled fish, fried fish, and grilled shrimp tacos. You order up front and grab your drinks and they bring the food out to you. It came out pretty fast. All of the fish and shrimp were perfectly grilled/fried. They were all so juicy and tender. Reggae and island music is playing with island style decor combined with Steelers items. Hubs would approve. The owner is a Steelers fan too. My server recommended the blackened fish for my tacos so I went with that. I loved it. My tacos were filling and flavorful with large pieces of fish in each taco, cooked perfectly, with some slaw and salsa and lime wedge on the side. It was taco Tuesday so I got a dollar off my fish tacos. I noticed the dessert award plaques and inquired about it. My server said their dessert bars WERE very delicious. That's all the convincing I needed. A yellow cake, chocolate, and red velvet option were available. I finally decided on yellow but they all looked good. I was going to save my dessert bar for the ride home and just try a bite. Let's just say I left without any leftovers. Lol. Yum! The servers bring the food to you and you pay at the register after eating. The restaurant is super clean and the servers are constantly cleaning and checking on customers. Poke is very appealing on a hot (well, 90F is hot for Flagstaff) day, so an ahi poke taco hit the spot. It was very good: the ahi tasted fresh (much better than at a certain chain a few miles away), though it was a bit underseasoned for my taste. Sauce, cabbage, and corn tortilla were all fresh and excellent. Coleslaw side was a bit over-mayo'd for me but still nice and crunchy. Why not 5 stars? I just wasn't blown away by anything. On our way back from the Grand Canyon, we stopped in Flagstaff for dinner at the Tiki Grill. Yelp assisted with finding another hidden gem. I ordered six wings, sweet potato biscuits and tomato and cucumber salad. WOW, the food was amazing. The wings had the right crispness and flavor dipped in their homemade ranch. The salad was good, but the biscuits were fire! It was suggested to put honey on them, and I'm so glad I listened! They also had several shelves with many different hot sauces. I liked the one I picked, from Heatley's Hot Pepper Farm, spicy but not slap your momma hot. Oh, and I can't forget the ooey gooey cake. They had three options, vanilla, red velvet and chocolate. If you know me, you know I chose chocolate. This desert lasted throughout the trip. I took three bites every evening until it was gone. Traveling for a few days Husband and I were heading to Flagstaff and I looked at my trusty Yelp for a cool spot to try with some different options. I did read the negative review, and guess what? It made me want to try that place more, so thank you Mr. Crabby Pants. We were told to pick our own table as we were given menus and told when ready to come back up to order, if getting a drink you get your own and tell them. In my case I got a beer and was told if I'd like another help yourself and just let us know. It's a cool, kicked back kinda place and it very "tiki" I loved it. Got to meet and chat with Scott, he was very welcoming ~ As for the food, can't wait to head back north to try more. The grilled shrimp tacos were my favorite and it had a bit of a kick. The tuna tacos were tasty as well, maybe a bit over marinated, but that's being really picky. You get two so we shared them. The Sweet Potato Biscuits were very tasty and the poutine was delicious, some pork belly chunks would be a game changer!! Hah It was Husband's birthday so I asked them for the Chocolate Gooey butter cake with Vanilla bean ice cream and two candles, he was surprised and that was decadent, the people next to us had butter cake envy so they ordered one as well. 9/27/2025 Tiki Grill is a funky little laid back restaurant tucked in a shopping g center with plenty of parking. The menu is fresh and they offer multiple daily specials. Definite island vibe. There's a nice selection of tiki style drinks along with beer, a soda fountain and brewed ice tea. Super cool find with lots of gluten free celiac safe menu options. The service is mostly self serve, order and pay at the counter. The staff is helpful and very laid back- island style. Nice relaxing spot to grab a bite and enjoy the tiki vibe. read more

Passing through Flagstaff and found this joint on Yelp and man we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in we were so pleased. What a funky, comfy place. And the food didn't disappoint. I got the ahi poke tacos for taco Tuesday , these tacos were stuffed full of poke and such good flavor. Hubby got the loco moco, he said it's one of the best he's had. The Cajun fries and onion rings were bomb as well.
