So disappointed! I talked to someone via Instagram messenger and they went over the pricing. $85 for a new set $30 for a 2 week fill and $40 for a 3 week fill. Today was a 2 week fill I was charged $60. This place is a scam. My lashes only lasted a little bit over a week. I will never go back. read more

I just wanted to give a review for Alanis. I've been coming to Alanis for quite some time now. I am a regular, and I will continue going to her for the rest of my life. She is wonderful. She takes care of your lashes as other places damage your lashes. Alanis is professional and she takes her time, not your money. She isn't materialistic and she wants her services to be appreciated. As this is not only her job, but it's her hobby. She enjoys doing it, as well as pleasing her customers. I am not only a customer; but I see Alanis as family. She is such a beautiful woman and truly values her patients. They do lashes well but are rude. Arrived 8 minutes late and as soon as I enter the owner says " you're late" or another employee when two people weren't doing anything, and it threw me off. I've been to a couple of eyelash places prior to going to Lashify but Lashify was by far my best lash experience. The first time I went , I had my lashes done by another salon. The lashes weren't down very well and they looked horrible. The girls at Lashify removed my old lashes and redid a whole new set. Since getting my lashes done at Lashify I've had 3 different girls do my lashes and they come out amazing every time. The service there is quick and everyone is so nice. I went to Alanis for my very first eyelash appointment ever and I am SO happy that I did! I am absolutely in love with my lashes! Alanis took the time to perfectly fit my extensions for my eye shape and size, giving me the volume, curl, and length I wanted all while looking very natural. I found Alanis on Yelp all the way back in April 2017 and I never got a chance to review her. I got my first set of extensions from a nail parlor/waxing/eyelash extension hybrid type of salon in Chino Hills. I was so excited to get them done that I didn't do much research on the whole process. When I went to get a refill from the same place I realized they completely butchered my lashes and many were ripped out and glued together horribly with the most fake plastic sharp lashes. I reached out to so many lash services asking for help and got shut down by many saying they would not touch my eyelashes unless I went back to the original salon to get them all removed because they were not going to be the ones responsible for the spider legs protruding from my eyes :( Luckily Alanis was the one to finally welcome me in with open arms and I've been so blessed ever since. She worked with what ever was left with my sad excuse for eyelashes and even ended up helping me keep up with sessions, nursing my lashes back to health! I have been going back to her religiously ever since and I honestly don't know life without her lashes anymore. She's so gentle with application; it's almost impossible not to take a nap during the process. She really takes her time to make sure she hits every single lash properly. I look forward to seeing her every few weeks to wake up not only refreshed but looking/feeling like a brand new person. When I first started coming to her she was working solo in a little unit inside of SOLA salons. Now she has expanded units and has several technicians working with her (all who do a great job as well). People ask me all the time about my lashes and I've referred many many people to her. I've gotten nothing but positive feed back from all my friends that have gone with my recommendation. Side Note: I've seen some pretty absurd and unreasonable people that show up at her salon sometimes that try to give her a hard time about her work; mostly just trying to snag a better deal out of her services. I feel that some people just don't understand the level of patience and quality of effort and care she puts into every client. I personally would not have the ability to tolerate it day in and day out while trying to make an honest living but I've seen how Alanis interacts with every client, both pleased or upset, and she is such a sweetheart. She puts on the perfect amount of lashes to make my eyes POP and has such a calming presence about her, I could almost take a nap while she does my lashes! I have been going to Lashify for almost a year now and every time I get my lashes done I'm happy, but after today I don't think I will be returning. The lady took about an hour to do the right lashes and only 30 minutes to do the left side. Now I like mine natural and a descent length, I got done and saw them long and fake and patchy. Would only go back to Alanis. $85 premium mink which feels just as good quality. However, the quality of work is underpriced for sure and I would recommend alanis to any first timer eyelash customer. Fills are $60, $10 more than other places, but she makes your eyelashes a work of art. My eyelashes were also falling off on one side because of my sleep, and she said she would fix it for me a couple days later for free which was really nice of her as I was still willing to pay. read more

Final update- Alanis redid my lashes- they r perfect. Totally different experience than before. She refused to take any money, just wanted a satisfied customer. She has integrity and cares about her customers. I will go back for sure. Update- owner Alanis contacted me directly and has offered to repair/redo my lashes herself. IMO this speaks volumes of the owner and how important customer service is to her. Original post- there are several technicians servicing clients so some are much better than others. That being said- my experience was disappointing. Pluses- inexpensive, ease of booking Minuses- semi private rooms beds laid out so my feet were at the head of the other customer. It seemed like the blanket was the same as the customer before me. The technician started without asking me a single question. I've had lash extensions at other places- they usually ask what look you want, explain what they are going to do, etc. not here. I was hesitant to speak up because there was another customer, it was not private and I didn't want to seem like a pushy customer. I did tell her I wanted full but natural and not too long. She spent over an hour on one eye and when done my eye stung like crazy. That's never happened to me before. She took three phone calls during my appointment. The lashes were so long - some people like that look. It's not for me. She trimmed them three times then started on the other eye. She finished that eye in about 20 min. totally sparse and nothing like the first eye. Results- I paid (including a full 20% tip) and left I did not have faith that she could fix them. The next day there were about 25 lashes on my pillow and the following day I took them all off- they were totally lopsided and I couldn't go in public with them. read more

Alanis is a true lash artist. She knows what she's doing and does it well. She will do what you ask but I've found it best just to let her do her thing. So after moving to this area and my previous lash girl moving out of state I had to find a new lash artist. I was a bet skeptical on finding someone new so I came on yelp for reviews 5 star that is. I had my first appointment yesterday and all I can say is I came across a true professional who is a perfectionist at what she does and not to mention the quality of the mink lashes she uses as well as her 1st time customer deal! This review is for Alanis' customer service and will only affect those who take care of their lashes so they last longer than 28 days. I was very pleased with my first visit 6 weeks ago (9/21-11/2) and asked before I left how much a fill would be. I was told $60. I'm very careful with my lashes so they'll last a long time and I gauge a place on its quality whether they will last at least a month. I still received compliments on my lashes even though I had about 50% left after 6 weeks. But I decided to go for a fill to freshen them up for a trip. When I laid down I was told they would be $85. I explained to Alanis I was told they would be $60. I couldn't find any pricing info on their website or IG. Yelp had one pic which was apparently old that gave the option of fills after a month. I don't know why Alanis immediately had an attitude with me when I was explaining what I was told. She said my lashes were old and would soon fall out and I would say they did a bad job if they didn't take them off and give me a new set. She said the 28 day deadline is on the sign on the wall. Obviously I didn't see the sign because I asked someone before I left my first visit and I wouldn't have asked for a fill after 28 days if that wasn't an option. I know it's common for most people to get a fill within a month, but I would suggest posting prices and policy on the website, IG, and yelp instead of telling returning customers that the sign is on the wall when they've been told otherwise by their staff. read more

I think this is an average lash place. I am actually surprised by all the rave reviews. My experience was not good. I get to my appointment on time, I am asked to wait 10 minutes as the technician is helping another client. No biggie. The client leaves and I am asked to sleep on the same little bed...they did not fix the bed, technician did not sanitize her hands, no greetings. She just asked what style I wanted and that was it. The lash tech tapes my eyelids and proceeds to work. The owner was in our small little room as well and the lash techs continue with their conversation. They must have been speaking to one another in Vietnamese for at least 15 minutes. I think that's rude. It's a small room and they're not understanding how annoying that is. The thing that really ticked me off the most was the phone calls during my service. Yes, the lash tech picked up her cell phone 3 times, held her conversations and continued to work. I think my lashes are ok, but I'm sad I tried this place. I am now reading that fills are $60...thats steep. read more
