The response from John is such BS. I literally spoke with the HVAC manager 3 days ago, when he called me from 860-317-0274 at 11:07 am on 12/15/2023. He definitely did NOT want to help me and basically told me to pound sand. They're trying to play it off like they care and want to fix it, but they don't, or they would have last week when I contacted them. Everything they say is dishonest.

New Hot Water Heater

This company was AWESOME. My hot water heater was opening down the back seem. The heater was from 1996. Thank God it lasted as long as it did. Well on July 1st, 2022 what happened? Went to basement and saw water. Thank God I did not go away for the 4th of July weekend. I asked 3 different people for their top 3 references. Each list Aiello was on it. I called Aiello and the process was FLAWLESS. Keep in mind it was a Friday, July 4th weekend when all of this happened. From the time I placed the call on Friday morning (10:00 a.m.) to (Christine) at Aiello by Friday 1:30 p.m. I had two installers (I'm aging well so I don't remember their names) LOL came out to do the work. The installers had everything replaced and new hot water heater install in an hour and a half they even pulled the permit electronically. I had to wait another hour for the water to fill the tank and get hot. Just like magic I was back in business and no flooded basement. The town inspector came out on Monday and gave the install a A++ approval. They said the work was spectacular and I passed the inspection. You pay for Cadillac service and not fly-by-night and you get Cadillac work and service. The old saying holds true that you get what your pay for. I have peace of mind and that was worth every single penny. I say try Aiello and you will not be disappointed. Enjoy this HOT summer.

Aiello damaged my home, going to fight them in Court this Month! I wanted a Oil to Gas Conversion and got so many holes put in my house that wasn't needed between the bugs that infested my home and them over charging me for a simple job of redirecting my heating source and not trying to make me a happy costumer they just kept double talking me and it took me 6 months of calling back and forth for them to offer me $500 for damages. My hardwood floor cost me $1500 alone to restain, and I didn't even address the bad workmanship! I still got to paint the mess they didn't fix and they should have left my home in original condition not with mix flooring after putting a hole in the wood flooring, unfortunately it wasn't needed. I will be in Court!!!

When our pipes froze during the big storm this January (thankfully, without water in them), we decided to hire Plumbums again. That didn't go as well. Quality of work: The fixes Jim suggested (a series of individual junction fixes) seemed reasonable for the repairs needed, but in some cases replacing whole sections would have been more time- and cost-efficient (according to other plumbers we've had in our home who have seen the work done). And we needed four return visits within our first three days living in the house to address issues that had not been resolved or that popped up as soon as we turned systems on. One problem (heat running constantly on our first floor, making the house over 80 degrees in the winter) was unresolved until I researched possible causes myself and communicated that to Jim, who sent out one of his guys to implement the fix. Professionalism: We were frustrated by the lack of care shown toward our property. Jim's guys left plumbing debris (not just the stuff our homeowner's insurance requested, but just straight-up trash), food trash, and drywall dust in our basement and living areas. This means that the first thing we had to do after driving 3,200 miles to move in was clean up after them. Drywall was removed roughly in several locations, and although patching was not included in the estimate, the cuts themselves appeared unnecessarily sloppy (and our new plumber neatly cuts and replaces drywall as a matter of course, leaving the mudding to us, which is fine). Plumbums did work well with our insurance company to get our claim handled, and ultimately we have working plumbing. But our experience wasn't great.

We had our master bathroom completely remodeled - down to the studs. That included taking out a…read moredifficult spa tub, rebuilding the floor, tearing down a shower - everything gone. In its place is a beautiful walk-in-shower, new upper & lower cabinets where the old shower was, new vanity, new lighting, beautiful porcelain floor tile, bidet seat for the toilet, they even stripped the popcorn ceiling and repainted it. The bathroom took time - with snow storms causing a minor delay, a long freeze requiring their plumbers to address other customer's emergencies - but it is gorgeous! We love our new master bathroom. Additionally, every carpenter, plumber & electrician that worked on the bathroom were gentlemen - friendly, accommodating and precise in their responsibilities and work done. We would recommend WB Dickenson in a heart beat.

Called the office again on Tuesday and was told that they would arrive Wednesday. They did not arrive. Thursday, they arrived without notice around 3:30. The plumber who was difficult to understand said that it was plumbed incorrectly and he would have to re-pipe in the basement and that it was too late to do that day so he would have to come back another day. Since this has been working for over 80 years, I felt that the more likely scenario was an issue with the mechanism within the tank. At around 4pm, the same person/receptionist that I had spoken with, called and asked for payment of $165 dollars. I provided the credit card and made the payment. I explained that although I am not a plumber, I wanted to better understand the problem prior to paying and additional $500. She said that she understood my concerns and would have someone call me Friday. Of course I was not called. They demonstrated urgency in securing payment for the call fee and half-hour minimum, however, their performance in meeting agreed-upon obligations was lacking.

After the work was completed, the entire area was cleaned up so well that you could hardly tell any excavation had been done. The workmanship was excellent and he kept me informed throughout the entire process. If you're looking for a reliable, honest plumber who takes pride in his work, Joe is the person to call. I had a leak in my washing machine coming from the hoses that was leaking onto the basement floor…read more The plumber told me he didn't see any leak or water on the floor. I was told that there was another hose that needed to be replaced because it wasn't up to code. I was charged $700 for the replacement hose. The problem was not resolved, and when I called back to inform the plumber that the washing machine was still leaking, I was told to call an appliance tech because they don't repair washing machines. The plumber refused to refund me my money after I had explained that the leak had not been fixed, and the job was not resolved. Now I have to spend more money to have an appliance tech come out and assess the problem, and pay for any repairs. I was taken advantage of, for sure!
