I needed some documents copied and bound and initially went to Kinko's and the cost was going to be $89. Lucky for me, they lost the file and I was going to have to go back in. I went to Aim Mail Center because if I am going to spend $89 I would rather have it go to a small business than a big company. I was incredibly surprised that the cost was only $33. I have been using the services of the AIM Center for almost 10 years now. Printing documents that I generated, mass printing, mass scanning, passport photo and notary service. They do all these very well and more. They keep my confidential / financial documents confidential. Their customer service is professional and friendly. On the top of this (and the reason for my 5 star rating) is that they accept used clean packaging material, which ensures that the packaging material that we receive so often these days are really RECYCLED / re-used perfectly. The workers at AIM are incredible. They help in any way they can, and have a great attitude about it. The holidays are a busy time for them, and no matter the request they do it with a helping heart. Wow... I have been coming here for years but just had the rudest service. I was shipping a large box and the clerk was telling me it might be cheaper to stuff the contents in a smaller box. She was mid sentence telling me the price for a smaller box when the owner interrupted us and told her to help the next person in line. What? I patiently waited my turn for no service at all. I recently used AIM to have some business cards made. The staff was very friendly and helped me "tweak" the cards so that they would look exactly how I wanted. Great one-stop shop. I was pleasantly surprised that I could do everything I needed here for my new passport application. Paul helped me take passport photos, notarize my signature and "thumbprint affidavit". Then I made copies and sent it all off via FedEx. And Dave protected all of us from two guys fighting outside. Very friendly, efficient notary experience here. I called up Saturday morning to see if they offered notary services and yes, the did, even on a Saturday. Drove there, and done in 10 minutes. These folks are great! They packed and mailed a fragile family heirloom for me and sent it all the way to Atlanta, and it arrived in perfect shape. I have had several sets of business cards made there, and the help they gave me with design. The cards were attractive and creative and got me compliments when I passed them out. I'm a doofus with copy machines, and on any job, they just do it for me. No fuss, no justification. And I think their prices are very reasonable. I took my 2.5 year old daughter there to have her passport picture taken. It was done right the 1st time!!! (Earlier we had gone to another the UPS store by Trader Joe off Los Gatos Boulevard and it was an absolute disaster. They used polariod(who does that anymore in this day and age???) and after 3 attempts they did not come out right! and they wanted to charge me more for the 4th attempt. By then my daughter and i were all stressed out and that's when I decided to go online and research a bit) Thanks to Yelp, I found this store and ended up really happy with the quality of pictures and service. The store was very well lit and organized. The 2 gentlemen who work there were very helpful. They even gave me helpful tips on passport applicatoins and gave me a telephone number to call. This is how world-class customer service should be :-) I would also point out that their prices were more competitive than the other store. Overall, very positive experience for me. Dave and Paul are friendly faces and great business people. I have a mailbox at AIM and have outsourced many print jobs to them, from b/w and color copies to vinyl banners. Every order has been delivered promptly and for a fair price. Every time I go in it seems like they have a new service available that makes it easy to go to them instead of running around town to different shops. I found out today that they now have a free service to notify me by email or text when I receive mail. That's cool! My company created a demo book-writing workshop with Aim Mail Center many, many months ago and I still get a warm, fuzzy feeling with them. They did a great job enlarging and printing posters for us, along with other color copies. I was delighted with the quality color their machines provided. In addition, they provided space and support for a few children to show how they could create a story, while an illustrator sketched. Photos and videos captured the action and process. I walked into Aim Mail Center - deflated - and asked if someone there could help. Apparently, in order to arrange a pick-up with FedEx, you need an already established account. I don't have one. After me rambling to one of the clerks, Paul (the owner) came over, pulled me to the side - apparently sensing my need for some TLC - and just handled everything. it was the kind of customer service that's rare nowadays. He was empathetic, knew what needed to be done, then went about doing it. After a few minutes, he emerged from the back office and handed me a piece of paper with all the relevant tracking details, names and contact numbers.
