I was looking to take in-studio maternity photos near Los Gatos and filled out a few inquiry forms. Another photographer responded, gave available dates, and asked for a deposit. I put that session on my calendar and then Gaby called me. She took the time to get to know me, ask about my pregnancy journey, wanted to see a Pinterest board of pictures I liked, then asked to come over to see my belly. She said she likes to book sessions based on belly size, not by week of pregnancy because everyone grows at different rates. This level of personalization and thoughtfulness made me cancel my initial booking and go with Gaby. And I am so grateful this is how she works because when she saw me, she said my belly is already big and we should take the shoot next week.
