Was at the Emissions office at 112th in Northglenn yesterday. First time that I have been to one in over 25 yrs. Since the minute that I arrived the girl told me there is 2 breakrooms if you want to wait. I had my Maltase dog with me since we stopped there after her Vet visit. I was trying to find a way to get to the breakroom and I was told that i needed to wait outside with my dog. The manager was the rudest person that I ever encounter. followed me around telling me I was just getting in the way of cars going out. Yelling at me like I was a criminal. I am 75 yrs old a well-educated Hispanic women trying to figure out just where to go. If I didn't know any better, I would think he was DISCRIMINATIVE. BE AWARE!!! This testing station is by far the absolute worst emission experience I've ever had in my 60+ years of life. Avoid it all cost. Piss poor management, no communication, the middle of the day of the middle of the week and its's been a 2 1/2 hour wait and we're still 15 cars back. They said one of the machines broke down, but they weren't detouring people away from that line, no other lines were moving, and there was no communication with those anxiously waiting in our cars. Even worse...there was no way out of the lines to exit...customers were getting pissed. It was SOOOOO EXHAUSTING! Total chaos. I tried speaking to management and they were total jerks. I even told them I was going to leave a bad yelp review and his response was "yea, I've heard that every day for months"...HUH? So what in the heck does that tell you people? The only good thing was the people that finally got us through the processs were kind and friendly...but prior to that was a complete nightmare...AND it was 3 1/2 HOURS LATER!!! Super quick service and kind staff! Everyone was smiling despite the long lines and they were very efficient. Great prices too!! Also I drive a pretty old stick shift and the staff was able to handle it great. I got there 10 minutes before opening and there was already a really long line, but it was handled very well. They got cars checked starting at 8am sharp! In total I was there from 7:50-8:50. Definitely some waiting in line/sitting, but just listen to music and make sure to block out a good chunk of time, there might be a long wait! read more

Wow, it was my lucky day! Went in on a Saturday hoping the weather would get temps above 15 degrees as it just snowed the day before. Took my chance and drove to the location around 10:20 because weather reported temps were about 21 degrees. Well, they were open and I was really happy that there were no long lines! I was able to pull in and waited less than 20 mins and I was out with flying colors. Woohoo!!! Fastest service ever that I've experienced. It was a good day. Service was good and reasonable. The people working here are lazy and have a horrible attitude brought my car in twice they made up some dumb excuse about not being able to service it the second time they said they couldn't get the traction control turned off and they gave me a paper to call a customer service number. Took it to a different admissions place the SAME DAY and they were able to do everything just fine, even tested it twice with it passing. These guys are liars and will say anything to get you out of their hair. I was also on a phone call and it apparently connected to the bluetooth of my car and my wife could hear what was being said inside of my car and all they were doing were sitting there talking shit about the customers, myself included, and cursing profoundly. not very professional if you hate your job that much then find a new one. read more

Don't mind all the bad reviews, most those bad reviews are drivers with older cars, no ac or radio, knowing their cars not in great shape and may not pass the test, and waiting to the last day to get there test done. all staff was friendly, 60 cars in front of me and I was in and out in 30 min! read more

Fast friendly service! Not the most relaxing waiting room but you can observe the process from the waiting/observation rooms that have plenty of Windows. The small TV at the end of the exit door where you will be called when your vehicle is done, plays informative air purity information as well as basic preventive maintenance recommendations. Over all a painless process that will get you on your way if you arrive early morning 0800 opening! Note: pay attention to what lane you get in! All wheel drive vehicles have their own lane! Air care Colorado emissions is great! Every time I have gone there to get emissions done, I never have to wait any longer than 5 to 10 minutes at the most. They are also very friendly and efficient. They have a decent waiting area that is enclosed. You pull your car up to the designated garage bay, Leave the keys in and they will take care of the rest. When they're finished they will come get you to finalize the transaction. They would benefit if they had vending machines available to the customers. For something you're forced to do, this location isn't a bad one to select. I went through on Wednesday around 1 PM and there wasn't a line at all. Brenda was helpful. My gas cap failed the test, but they give you a coupon for $10 off at NAPA, which made it a $3 repair. I'm glad they modernized and are now accepting credit cards, something there wasn't an excuse to do previously, to be frank. There's a little snack machine and pop machine if you get hungry during heavier business hours. If you are claustrophobic, you may wish to avoid as the narrow corridors you have to wait in while your car is being tested as you may find them uncomfortable. read more

Feedback: Address: 1950 E. 112th Ave., Northglenn, CO 80233 Lanes: 7 Phone: 303-456-7090 Hours of Operation: 8am to 5:30pm (M-F), This is the 3rd time I have had troubles with your station regarding the administration of the actual test on my 1991 Vanagon (4 speed Manual) 2 years ago the driver killed the engine in the middle of the test... and then it failed. I drove the vehicle around the block and came back and the next driver knew how to drive a stick and it passed. However fast forward 2 years later to 2014 and the driver killed the car AGAIN 6-14-2014 and then continued with the test anyway and it failed. They would not test it again with a new driver. I took the Van to my mechanic and he assured me there was nothing wrong with the engine... Just like there was nothing wrong 2 years ago when it failed and then passed the same day. Anyway, I come in today and made sure to request that someone experienced administered the test. I was told the girl doing the test was one of their best drivers... I find this hard to believe since the previous time I came in 6-14-2014 and it failed the girl who handed me the paperwork and jokingly told me she had just started working there so go easy on her. I hadn't even said any more than hello to her and she says this to me. Yet she was the same new girl doing the actual driving test today. She is one of your best drivers? What kind of operation you running there anyway? Is it Standard Operating Procedure to lie to customers like that? I tried to record this latest test on my phone video but was rudely demanded to stop and delete the video. So I stopped and deleted it. Then I witnessed the new girl driver kill the test 3 times and then she burned my clutch. The entire area was smoked out from the clutch smoke coming from up under the back wheels where the clutch is on the Vanagon. Too bad I was not able to record it... But y'all have this on video I was told that's why I agreed to stop recording and complied with the deletion of my video. SO now I request a review of the in shop video so you can verify the smoking clutch damage that your driver caused to my vehicle today Around 15:30 to 16:00 7/7/2014. They stopped the test and did not finish it and pushed my vehicle out to the parking lot. I complained that they burned my clutch but they denied it and said it "overheated". Anyone who knows anything about clutches knows what a burning clutch smells like... It's like burning rubber. That's what it was... Your people burned my clutch. So I drove my van home but noticed the clutch was slipping. So now what? I guess I'm screwed out of my test that I already paid for... now I'm looking at some pretty hefty repair bill to fix the damaged clutch thanks to your testing site. I've been going to that same testing spot since 1996. This lack of service and rude treatment is very disappointing to say the least. Completely unsatisfactory is what this is. read more
