I recently got a mobile service to change my tires (totally unnecessary) but since it was my first time in AWHILE, I didn't realize I needed to do a rebalance or realignment or whatever. Frustrated that the company changing my tires failed to do any follow-up after the initial sale, the transparency and communication at Goodyear was refreshing. I hung out in the lobby while the shop performed their magic on my tires. They clearly printed reports to show the measurements that were modified. Pricing is easy to find on the Goodyear website so there's no surprises, and they're always doing some sort of deal over text. If you're looking at a car maintenance shop that takes care of your car and YOU, then look no further! I've visited this location twice in the last month and I've left a happy customer. Josh, the store manager, is great to work with. My first visit was to get a quote on brand new tires for my car. I had already visited 4-6 other shops to find the best bang for my buck. After all, if I plan to buy new tires I need to make sure I shop around, right? For comparable tires at other shops, Goodyear was a bit on the higher end of the price range. Rather than price matching their tires to the other quotes, they gave me a quote for better tires at my desired price point. They want you as a customer so they're willing to price match if you come prepared! It was such a good deal I couldn't say no. Unfortunately my second visit was due to a bad battery and my car wouldn't start one morning before work. My car had been under the stress of a recent collision just a few days after I got new tires (just my luck) and had been sitting in a collision center for WEEKS. I immediately called Goodyear to check if they could take a look at my car. They were extremely busy but said they'd make it work. I had my car towed to them and headed off to work. They called me after checking the battery and began the repair immediately upon my approval. I headed to pick up my car the same day. Was told an hour after I drop Car off for oil change that the last person who had changed my oil must have stripped my oil pan plug. I have been using the same Mechanic for most if not all repairs and oil changes for over 30 years. I had traveled from Louisiana and was told by my mechanic that if it had been stripped, there would be residue and oil present under the car. There was not. When I questioned the manager, he got defensive and said he had to take the word of his tech. However, I did not have to take the word of his tech. he attempted to charge me with labor $450 for a new oil pan and I refused. he then said I was accusing him of something he didn't do and when the car was left overnight and he replaced my oil pan but did not charge me for the labor. The manager the following was extremely when I picked up the car. Never again. This nightmare close to 48 hours when I was supposed to get on the road and I had take Ubers back and forth as well as being forced to buy a new oil pan. read more

I worked for a dealership for over 45 years and heard from my customer's there experience at dishonest tire and repair shops. I was at this Goodyear store getting my snow tires installed when a customer came in with a tire he had taken off his vehicle with a nail in it. One of the stores managers came out and looked at the tire and inspected all the tires on the vehicle and informed him based on the tread the tires were no longer safe. The manager then asked the costumer how long they planned on keeping the vehicle and their driving habits. He then went over the tires and price. There was never any high pressure or trying to sell something the customer didn't need. I would recommend this store to anyone. read more

Huge disappointment. They don't service automotive diesel engines--hilarious. In their congressional district alone there will be about 40,000 of them on the road. They can't even do a basic pressure test in order to price a job on just changing a couple radiator hoses. And, the shop closes unreasonably anyhow (5 p.m.). What a joke. I can't in good conscience now take my alignment, oil change, or other such basic business to them either. read more

Depending on what you are getting done to your car, do expect to wait awhile, they are a little short staffed yet, I would much rather wait and have my car serviced correctly than to have cheap fast service. Got a flat on the way to work, didn't feel so good about my spare, so I drove here instead of to work. Didn't have an appointment but that was no problem. We walked out to my car and looked at my tires and signed some paper work and I was on my way. Went to work, came back at 4 and everything was ready :) I asked for 4 tires and an alignment and that is exactly what I got. I got an estimate for any other things that they suggest I can get done ( good for a month) .. and no pressure. Service was pretty great and I felt confident in the pricing and job that was done. If there were 0 stars that's what I would give this location. This is the only Goodyear location that I consistently have issues with. I just went in to get a nail taken out of my tire and after waiting for 15 minutes at the front desk and speaking to a lady in the waiting area who told me that she also had to step outside to get anyone's attention I finally stepped into the service area to see if anyone was actually working. To my surprise I found 3 guys chatting none of them actually working. Tony Williams then came up front to see what I needed and told me that it would be at least a 3 hour wait because there is only one guy working and he had an oil change in front if me. He also informed me that I I would have arrived 15 minutes prior then he could have done it. I work in customer service and if this is the kind of professionalism that the employees of this location are held to than I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I had the motor light come up and also tire pressure light, although I filled the air before. Goodyear completed the check within less than 1 hr of my arrival. They gave me good news: the motor light was just due to loose gas cap and they also filled the air in the tires and resolved the pressure light. All of this for free! Thank you! read more

The guys at the Goodyear in Westminster, CO are the only store in the whole state open on Sundays. That didn't stop them from getting me a good appointment when I called first thing that morning to have my studded snow tires swapped for my summer ones. Bernie is super helpful. The technician knew I was in a hurry and rung me out while the front office guy was helping people just coming in. Just really disappointing. I took my car in to get am Uber vehicle inspection, and magically my battery was dead when they finished the inspection. They informed me the battery had to be jumped three times before they could get it started. They also did not bother to place the terminal covers back on when they finished messing with my battery. I told them they were full of shit, and my battery has since been working just fine. Additionally they told me my front inside brake pads were worn to almost nothing, and I again told them they were full of shit, as a complete major service was performed on my vehicle in November 2014. I informed them that I regularly have my car serviced at Mike Shaw and don't get these kind of surprises. I have an appointment with Mike Shaw this upcoming Monday and will be taking the inspection report from Goodyear to Mike Shaw for them to double check what I suspect is a bunch of bullshit.
