Keep in mind it was over 100 degrees outside and I had had many friends mention that they were having issues keeping cool as well. So, I knew they would be very busy. Do NOT call this company!!! They charge the ridiculous price of $125/lb for R22 freon AND service call charge AND they charge for a leak detection test.....they get you coming and going. Basically I spent $700 with them for NOTHING. Ended up getting a free assessment and estimate from another excellent company (Dowd Heat & Air) and I bought new unit from them. read more

This Company will rip you off! I was simply wanting a quote to change out a valve assembly in a shower I was remodeling and they wanted to charge me a full service fee just to tell me how much they would charge. There is no refund on the service fee, so they bait you in to using their service by telling you they will deduct it from the price of the finished job. If you don't use them you are simply out all that money! Not a company I would ever do business with! read more

I have been using Air Comfort Solutions for years servicing our heat and air. We recently had to have our old system replaced, both the furnace and the ac (got the Carrier system) and they set up the financing on the whole thing. They had the old system out and the new system installed in a morning, the next morning I believe. And when we had everything installed it was quite cold and everything couldn't be tweaked with that system, and we had to call them because it wasn't working properly, and they sent someone IMMEDIATELY! There was a technician there in about thirty minutes, and this was late Friday night. Wow! And he was very knowledgeable about the situation and was quick to communicate in detail exactly what he was doing each step of the way. Matthew Doss was the technician's name. I think that he's fairly new to the company, and fresh out of school, but you wouldn't know it. Very professional! read more

I feel that I was pressured to purchase a new furnace and A/C system. The tech and supervisor that followed were very cordial, however, the tech found "a problem", supervisor wrote up a quote and expected me to sign it/agree to the price for a new system. He told me I had to decide that day, but I told him no, twice, and asked for my copy of the quote. I got a second opinion and all my system needed was some Freon and has been working just fine ever since. High pressure sales is all this company does. I'm very impressed with this company! They have amazing customer service and everything is simple and straight forward with them! I live in California and have a rental in Oklahoma that had a garbage disposal leak. I called at 10:30am and they gave us a window of 12-4pm and Todd called at 12pm to discuss the issue and had the leak and garbage disposal issue resolved at 12:30pm and it included a 1 year warranty! Very impressed and thankful they bring the necessary parts to fix and/or replace on the first visit! Great company!! read more

I would stay clear of Air Comfort Solutions. One of our AC units was no longer blowing cold air so we called Air Comfort Solutions to come out and take a look. They told us in order get it running we would have to add Freon @ $200 per # and replace our evaporators @ $3400. They said doing that would also probably be a waste of money in the long run and advised us to replace our unit giving us an estimate of $11,652 (after a 15% discount- original estimate was $13,708). They charged us $139 for the service call but didn't complete any maintenance on our unit. We decided to have several other HVAC companies come out and give opinions on what we should do. Everyone said that our unit was fine other than having a small leak. I went ahead and had the other companies provide estimates on replacing it as a worst-case scenario. I had them price the exact same unit/model # and the other estimates ran from $5500 to $7500. Pricing to fill the unit with Freon was between $45-$70 per #. All I know is they were incredibly expensive and absolutely no help yet, still charged us $139 for doing nothing. read more

Using Air Comfort Solutions saved me several hundred dollars when i needed to replace my hot water heater on a weekend (isn't that when things usually break?) which can be much more expensive since they charge premium labor rates. Not only that but they were very courteous, professional and ended up doing a great job. They also did a good job of cleaning up after themselves and removed the old heater. I will certainly be calling this company in future rather than one of their competitors who I usually use. read more

They installed a complete Heating/Cooling system in January 2018. At end of February the REQUIRED city inspection had not been completed because ACS had not called city -- I had to call ACS to remind them -- city inspector shows up and states he cannot sign off as repairs needed to bring it up to code -- ACS repaired items -- requiring city inspector to return for final inspection. It is now May, unit has never been signed off by the City of Tulsa. Just got off the phone with ACS to "remind" them they never followed thru with the required inspection. Was told the girl who takes care of inspections doesn't come in until 9:00 or 9:30 and no one else in their office can do it!!!! Sad experience... read more

Wish I had read yelp reviews before I had this company out. The $40 tuneup for my air conditioning is a bait and switch for sure! Suddenly my perfectly working unit had a few hundred dollars worth of trouble that I apparently didn't know about. These guys use to respond fast or at least keep their appointments since they give you a 4hr window of when the night be there. I got suckered into spending $6000 to replace an old unit that they could no longer find parts for. Then I would get harrassed every day to schedule a tune up for heat/air. When I finally do they still dont show up. I should send them a bill for waiting at home for their azz. Dont waste your time not worth it. Always trying to bug you to set up unneeded appointments. I have a brand new heat and air why does it all of the sudden need to be serviced twice or more a year. read more

DO NOT CALL AIR COMFORT SOLUTIONS!!! Their pricing is high and they charge a service fee of $95 just to come out (even if they don't perform any work). We just had a new countertop put in and needed the drop in sink installed. I called Air Comfort Solutions and said that I needed someone to come out and give me a price. The person that I talked with did not say anything about a service fee of $95 just to come out. The plumber came out and gave me an estimate of over $600. I asked him why his price was so high because I had everything that he needed to do the job and I asked if I was only being charged for LABOR. He admitted that he didn't have a rate sheet to install a sink. Anyway, I told him NO THANKS and said that I would NOT pay his service fee of $95. I found a licensed plumber to perform the same work for $200. Again, all I paid for was the labor as I had all the parts on hand. What a joke. Don't use this place. read more

I have never written a review before now, but I hope others will read this and take notice. I called ACS because my a/c was not blowing cold air. After a high-pressure pitch that I needed to purchase a brand new $12k unit, we settled on $1k worth of Freon that lasted about 2 months. I have since called another company only to find out that there was a leak (which they were able to fix) and i was out of refrigerant (which they refilled at a fraction of the cost of ACS). I am a single mom, and can't help but feel they took advantage of my situation and lack of knowledge. Do they exploit the elderly as well? Shame on ACS and anyone (cough, England, cough, White) who promotes them. read more

I had these service techs to my house and I really believe they are not honest. They quoted me $387 to do simple repairs to a toilet and bathtub faucet. After the tech engaged on fixing them, he said he was going to be able to lower the price and give me a better deal. It ended up being $307. I have to have them back out because one of the toilets is making a new noise that doesn't seem normal. Their HVAC tech was here at the same time and quoted me $6700 for a middle of the road brand to replace my unit. The unit is 3 ton in size. In getting other quotes this amount is Leaps & bounds above the other quotes. I do believe this company over charges. It's a shame. I would not recommend them. read more

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! i purchased a furnace for $5800 from them in the fall and they did a half ass job and the specs failed the inspection and they had to come back out and do more work. also had them come out to look at my AC unit and they were going charge me another $5300 because they said the compressor was bad and i needed to replace the unit. had another company come out and look at it and all i needed was two small parts replace and my AC unit works like a champ!! read more
