For a week I've been calling, leaving voice messages, emailing, leaving messages on their web site and texting on a daily basis and no one even cared to reach out back thru any of those means. Despite all the amazing things I said, I will also add that the place is safe, and they are very honest. Accidentally my boyfriend left his wallet in the helicopter. My husband purchased a 60 minute night tour thru Groupon for our anniversary and we have both called them several times in the last two weeks to book a tour and it just goes straight to voicemail with no response. I've even asked Groupon for assistance and even they can't get a hold of this Alex guy. They should stop offering tours thru Groupon if they don't want to honor it. It was my boyfriend and I's first time! Service was good anytime I had a question and called I always got an answer. We purchased the 60 min tour but really were only on the tour for about 40 mins. Which was fine because We felt like we were there for more than enough time. Saw Hollywood, Malibu, Santa Monica, downtown La, Griffith Park, etc. We had the MOST BEAUTIFUL SUNSET! Loved it. We went at around 5pm as our appointment was 5-6pm. Finding exactly where it is was a little confusing but we gave Alex a call and he was able to direct us in the right direction. The place is super clean, well kept and the seating area is comfy while you wait for your flight! Alex was really kind and talked to us for a while while we waited for our plane! Our pilot was Ethan who was super fun and engaging! He also made us feel super safe and we had a lot of fun conversations with him! His flying technique is awesome and his landing was super smooth!! The entrance was a bit hard to find but we found it at last. The gate is a bit hard to find. If you are looking for it, it's all the way to the left side. Purchased through Groupon and called Alex to make an appointment. It was scheduled way in advance, because I wanted the sunset ride. The day of the appointment he calls me two hours before stating that he had to cancel, because the Dodgers were playing and airspace was restricted. I told him my schedule was very busy, and I wouldn't mind just going up for the experience. Alex said it would not be a fun ride, and that he would call me in 10 minutes to re-schedule. He did not call. I called him during the week to re-schedule, but his schedule was busy and agreed to take me on a Thursday. I agreed. I had to drive over an hour to get to the airport in LA traffic. Called him at the time scheduled since I could not find the office, but no answer. Called him again 15 minutes later with no answer. He then sends me a text that flights had been cancelled due to the high winds. He then said he would call me in 5 minutes. Never called. Luckily Groupon understood my concern and gave me a refund. I'm sure it's worked out for most people with this company, unfortunately for me it didn't. read more

The owner, Alex, canceled our trip because he was at an air show, trying to sell tickets to more people. I went to great lengths to make this happen for my birthday weekend, but clearly this company only cares about making money on flights they have not already reserved. They have NO qualms about canceling for prepaid flights. We contacted the pilot/owner, Alex, in the morning to make sure our flight was on schedule. He let us know in the afternoon that he went to an air show and that the pilot we were supposed to have (which we were under the impression was HIM) was not available. We explained that we had arranged our schedules specifically for this event and we could not do it the next day for his convenience, as he suggested. We asked him if he was available on a different date, and he never replied. Clearly, we dodged a bullet. This is not a reputable company, and if you can't trust the reliability of the owner, can you really trust his maintenance of the plane? read more

Seems like the 5-Star reviews here are not Groupon customers. Likely full fare or friends 'n family. Skip it if you're planning on a Groupon flight. Alex was not easy to get a hold of and when we did communicate he was out with the plane and asked me to text appointment and weight details. When I texted again to confirm receipt and that our day/time were locked in, it took a day for him to confirm. On the day of the flight, I reached out a few hours early to confirm that we were good to go, and he said his pilot was sick and he was out of town. I'd all but guarantee that if he had not responded to my text, my wife and I would've been staring at a locked hangar door when we arrived for our scheduled flight (like other Groupon reviewers have described here on Yelp). I've tried to contact them multiples times a day for 2-3 weeks and they never pick up. I've left voicemails, and when their voicemail box was full I sent multiple SMS notifications to notify them that I called. I still never got a call back.
