When we started having issues with our brand new (as in just a little over a year old) system and…read morethe HVAC company who installed it was just not willing (or more like not capable) to go over and beyond to diagnose the real issue (there's a whole back story to this!) and decided to drop us like a hot potato, I knew we needed a new HVAC person. Went to Yelp and blasted out our needs. HVAC and Chill was the very first to respond. I was on the phone with Crystal who was very nice snd accommodating and assured me that they were an honest, family-owned business. She scheduled for someone to come the next day between 9AM and 11AM. The next day, I get a call from Chris around 8AM saying he was on his way and that he will be arriving in about 20 mins. True enough, he was at our front door at his promised arrival time and immediately went to work to diagnose the issue of our system (something our previous HVAC people didnt even do. They only suggested to replace the thermostat--- which was brand spanking new, btw). While performing the diagnostic, he found that our previous HVAC people didn't even wire our thermostat correctly (not the main issue but still!). He also concluded that the wiring of our system was just too old and was causing the short on the Y1 wire (hence our A/C just shutting off intermittently). He couldn't believe that our previous HVAC guys installed a brand new system and didnt take advantage of that fact that our walls were all wide open during the renovation. They should have replaced all the old wiring! He also offered to give a piece of his mind to our old HVAC peeps for not properly wiring the connections to our thermostat. I mean, you would think that wiring to the thermostat would be something BASIC! After diagnosing the issue, he said another tech named Mike would be coming in the afternoon to do the fix needed. He left and texted me updates as to when Mike would be arriving. Half an hour prior to arriving, Mike texts me his ETA. Again, arrived on time, with a big smile on his face, very courteous and went immediately to work. He asked me our preference on certain things and explained what he was working on. He even have tips to my husband to better take care of our unit. After replacing all the old wiring and installing the thermostat in a new area (no walls needed to be opened like what our previous HVAC guys suggested!), he stayed and tested everything thoroughly and made sure everything was working fine before he left. And the price quoted for the job? VERY FAIR AND REASONABLE! Oh my goodness, this experience made me believe that there ARE competent AND honest workers out there. What Chris and Mike don't know is how they made our lives much easier as we have a severely autistic 15 year old who doesn't understand that the A/C is not working and would just get quite aggressive when he's uncomfortable. Now we don't have to worry about him. If you need an HVAC person for whatever project or problems you have, look no further and give these guys a call. There is a legit reason why they have a perfect rating of 5 stars here on Yelp. THANK YOU Chris, Mike, Crystal and the entire HVAC and Chill Team!!!

He installed the mini split quickly and professionally with zero issue. His pricing was very competitive and fair and he uses top of the line products. The only hiccup would be that I wanted a 115V installed but it ended up being a 230V even after I was assured that it is a 115V. Unfortunately, that meant my electrical panel is completely full and I wouldn't be able to have Edward install another mini split for me. Regardless, the mini split has been working perfectly for an entire year now. No weird sounds, zero issues with cooling or heating and my electric bill went down significantly. I will always recommend Edward to anyone that asks me if I know a trustworthy HVAC person.

I was a bit leery about having this job done as an earlier experience at another home with Stanley Steemers left me frustrated. When they completed the job they left a huge mess on the floors and I'm not so certain there was any improvement. So, when Karl arrived, on time and with Booties in tow, we got off to a good start. He thoroughly explained the entire job process from air returns on the floor to the rooftop returns as well. He took his time, was not rushed and did a very thorough job. He vacuumed, swept and tidied up his entire work areas and there was no follow-up cleanup for me to do. He was very polite, work oriented. The air coming form the vents seems to be cleaner, fresher and emits less dust than before the cleaning. I would highly recommend Air Ducks for anyone considering having their ducts cleaned. Found this company on Yelp and booked an appointment the following week. The worker was 15 minutes late, but called me to let me know when he would arrive (they did not give a huge window, but rather a specific time, which I appreciate). When the worker arrived, he was kind, explained what he was going to do, and started to clean my chimney. When he was finished with the cleaning, he showed me a crack that needed to be fixed or else it would be out of code. He also provided pictures of the chimney cap, which would need to be replaced. He did not pressure me to do either, but I chose to fix the crack and do the more expensive repair at a later date. He completed the work quickly, and professionally. I would definitely use Air Ducks Duct Cleaning again for these types of service, and especially the next time I need a Chimney Sweep. read more

Air Ducks is awesome! We had both of our chimneys cleaned and Karl did a great job and there was no mess whatsoever. He was very personable and friendly. We liked the service so much that we scheduled Air Ducks to service our air conditioning units shortly after. During this visit Karl found a gas leak in our attic and fixed it for a very reasonable rate. Because it was chilly when the AC units were serviced and that can make the coolant reading inaccurate, Karl said he would do a repeat visit in the spring free of charge. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and most importantly--honest. We've lived in our home for five years and honestly aren't sure the dryer vent had ever been cleaned. They found a massive buildup of lint--so much that it completely filled their shop vac. Quoted us almost $9k for equipment and labor. We called AireTech for a second opinion... the technician found the leak immediately and replaced a pipe and fixed a loose section where the glue was nonexistent as well as flushed the system.
