SCAM we ordered a round of normal single margaritas and the bartenders poured triple shots into our drink to upcharge us. They tried to fool us since we were foreigners. Would not recommend :( I will say the margs were massive tho...
I mean... it's an airport, I don't expect high quality food but for what it was, the fact our flight was delayed and I MAY have been a little intoxicated, I enjoyed it for what it was. Don't come here expecting low prices because you will be disappointed. Our food came out fairly quick given how busy they were, so no complaints here.
This was a cool pit stop before hitting our flight The prices are of course outrageous with it being in the airport My drink was pretty good - they give you the option to buy your cup if you'd like For it to be in the airport it's decorated nicely!
For being in an airport, this place is absolutely amazing. The service was fast and friendly. They have great food! Some of the best i had all of my trip!!!! I really enjoyed the fresh made guacamole at the table! And the drinks were amazing!
Shitty service. Took 45 mins to get bill. Got bill for appy and Diet Coke straight $57 usd. No way chicken strips should cost that much. Shitty exp
Flying from Cancun to SFO, wife liked the vibes, which was good. The fresh avocado was amazing, but the service.... Horrible, rude, in a hurry, act like you're ruining their day by asking a question. Skip it if you want service, if you want vibes and just drink, good spot for you.
It's a little chaotic but organized chaos. Great place to stop and get a drink while you're waiting for your shuttle to your hotel. The team at Margaritaville was very friendly and made our drinks very quickly.
We were nicely greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter attended to us. Ordered Taco Salad and Sodas. Food came quickly! Taco Salad was a good size of serving. Definitely don't feel ripped off. Overall this place treated us well with good service. Food was delicious! We were waiting for our flight gate to open up, so killing some time made this place worth while from our experience.
Came here for breakfast. Hostess was hurrying us. Waitress was the nicest person I have had in a long time. Food: scrambled eggs, not natural terrible taste; tots, just tots, pancakes, from a frozen box / bag. Asked for a frozen Margarita; mistake the first time. I didn't send it back, just said , taste not good please bring me water. They asked, this is not what you ordered, right? They changed the drink for what I ordered, was equally bad. Seems they use the cheapest alcohol available. At the end, they removed the drink from the bill. It was 70 bucks for 2 entrees, 1 bottle of water and 1 beer. Issue is, be prepared to eat one of your worst meals of your vacation.
This review will be quick and short. We only had about 25 minutes before our flight was about to board. We were immediately seated. If you are in a hurry, order as soon as you sit and hand them the credit card to pay. We ordered two burgers and two margaritas. Please note the margaritas are enormous so only order one for two people. I was skeptical about the quality of food since we put in a rush order. Surprisingly. the hamburgers were above average and the drinks were strong. The good news is if you are prepared, they will take care of you. Here are a few additional tips. 1. The bathroom is not close so give yourself time after eating. 2. This location is not in the main area. It is at the end of the gates. Keep a watch on the time so you don't miss your flight. 3. The bar was packed so don't wait for an open seat. Just grab the next table and be ready to order. Thanks to the staff for taking care of us!
Long line when we arrived but we were seated quickly. Friendly service. We got the loaded nachos with chicken and each got a sandwich. Above average nachos. I had the club sandwich and it was good other than the edges of the bread tasted like cardboard. Very loud and busy in the middle of the airport. Good enough for a quick airport meal.
The food was great. The table sidewalk was not as spicy as I was hoping for, but it was still good. And the ambience was great. Our plane was actually getting ready to board when we had requested a check and it took them forever to bring it so I was a little disappointed in that But the food did come out quick when we ordered it. And we were seated immediately when we arrived.
This restaurant in the Cancun airport exceeded my expectations! They prepared the Shrimp Ceviche and guacamole fresh table side. Both were gluten free and tasted exceptional! I was afraid the shrimp ceviche would be more of a snack, but it was so hearty that I couldn't finish it all. It can be challenging to find gluten free food in airports, but Air Margaritaville has us covered with these 2 delicious options! My mom, who is also gluten free, got a salad with chicken, which she enjoyed as well. The service and ambiance were also great!
Flying out of Cancun, back to Atlanta. Took us forever to get through customs and security. Stopped here for a drink and a quick bite. We both ordered margaritas and they definitely hit the spot. Volcano Nachos were amazing! Had all of the perfect toppings. The guacamole was delicious. Had me wanting more but it honestly was enough food between the two of us. Service was super quick which is definitely a plus when you're waiting for your plane to board. I was glad it didn't take longer because nachos aren't exactly the traveling type of dish. lol read more
We had time to kill before our flight back and we decided to get some food here. I ordered the chicken tenders and my bf ordered the chicken quesadilla. Overall the food was okay. It's not anything special. It is a bit pricey. We paid almost 80 for these two dishes and a beer and soda. They wanted to charge me extra for fries on my chicken tenders which is weird if they only serve the dish plain. The tenders weren't crispy but weren't soggy either. A restaurant in the departure waiting area at CUN airport. Not quite your typical one, but you are a captive audience so the price reflects that. It is large and we were seated on the outer edge on the aisle and next to the boarding line for a large Air Canada flight. Quite a loud environment. The food, although pricey, was pretty good. We had coconut shrimp with a shrimp skewer and a large grouper sandwich. The tap beer was a good addition to the meal. It was definitely a necessary meal after a long journey to the airport and before a four hour flight home. read more

So yeah, there's a Margaritaville when you step off the airport in Cancun and then there's this one in the airport. I usually avoid the one near the airport because I'm rushing to get to my transportation to get to my hotel. No doubt they would wait for me but they seemed so gimmicky. Ah well, I didn't like any of the offerings at the airport so I doubled back her. It's really cute how a guy carries around a cart and makes guacamole to order. I didn't care for any though. I ordered the piña colada and the waiter said he only had the large side which I agreed to but the alcohol content was minimal considering I'm a super light wait and was only going to take a few sips but I almost drank the whole thing. It was delicious. I ordered calamari with cocktail sauce for starters and a huge fish sandwich with tartar says and cole slaw. I would say share good if you can. The portions are HUGE. Yeah, I'll be back. Probably for drinks alone because it got me full just off the liquids. read more

Service was fine but the quality of food is NOT worth the money. Airport prices are generally higher but $6.50 for a CAN of ginger ale is outrageous! We spent $90 USD on a chicken sandwich with fries, chicken strips, taco salad and 1 can of soda and 1 fountain drink. We will never patronage any location. read more
I think this place is a great breakfast spot! The Cuban breakfast sandwich is amazing. Comes with crunchy hash browns and is huge. The bread is a soft but sturdy hoagie roll. I can't recommend this enough. Perfect for the early morning flight out of Cancun read more

What can I say I'm a sucker for MargaritaVille. This is my second time eating and drinking at Air MargaritaVille in Cancun's airport. It's one of those lively airport restaurant that serves ridiculously good food. I always end up ordering their chicken fajitas and lime margaritas. And unusually sit at the bar so I can get a view at the flight departures monitor so I can see where my gate is. Haha! Although it's a restaurant in an airport you will get great services and it feels as though you are actually at a MargaritaVille in the city. I feel as though every time I have their chicken fajitas it just taste more delicious. Their chicken meat is very juicy and their flour tortilla is a bit softer and thinner in Mexico compared to the other MargaritaVille I have had it at. Yummy!! read more

Great place to go while waiting for a 2 hour delayed Spirit flight. I had a breakfast burrito and a shot of expresso. No margaritas today due to prior night recovery. It is a good spot to come to for food, drinks and chatting with various folk. The staff were ok too. read more

Food could be better needs seasoning. Ambience was busy. Everyone's sitting too close kept bumping into others while seated. Our server was pretty she didn't check on us much I had to keep calling others for service. Margarita was disgusting. Added bbq to the burger for flavor read more

A bit pricey to be expected as it's in the airport. My flight was delayed 3x. Grabbed a bite here. Got the ceviche de camarone and let me just say chefs kiss superb. A Dec must try. They come and make it directly right in front of you on a cart. Customized to your liking. I love spicy so added extra of those ingredients. Pretty decent beer selection and person with me loved their margaritas. Service just like the food was amazing and I didn't feel rushed one bit. read more
Had some extra time Before my flight and decided to eat here. Seating was a little confusing bec different sides of their seating areas are run by different hostesses. Finally got seated and the waiter seamed bored and not interested in our table, just basically going through the motions. While I received the food that I ordered, it was nothing out of the ordinary and nothing to write home about. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and a bottled water. While I expect to pay higher prices for food at airports, I feel that $29 USD plus tip for a chicken quesadilla and a bottled water was a BIT much. read more
A 22 ounce top shelf margarita for $14. Need I say more? This location was located right next to my departure gate and was the perfect option for a drink and chicken sandwich before our flight. The staff was friendly and fast. In less than 10 minutes I had my drink and very tasty well seasoned chicken sandwich. I was definitely impressed by how good everything was and I understand why it was so crowded. I would definitely eat there again. read more
Did not expect to see a place open so early in the AM, but thankfully they were. Our hotel did not have anything open for us to grab a breakfast before flying. We ordered our coffee, juice and breakfast sandwich and it arrived quickly and delicious. Our server was very attentive and helpful. read more
We have been having lunch here the last few times in Cancun. Fast service. Huge portions. Decent prices for an airport restaurant. 2 drinks and huge tower of chicken nachos 37.00. The only problem music was way too loud! A big bonus..airport monitors in the restaurant so you can keep up to date on your flights. read more

I left Cancun disappointed as my last meal was at this Air Margaritaville. My friends and I shared barbecue wings and calamari. After one bite of each, I had decided that I shall fill up on soda instead. Disappointingly Margaritaville only serves Pepsi products so I couldn't even have a coke to console me. The barbeque wings were not bad but they weren't great either actually they were quite dry. I couldn't even touch the calamari after taking a bite of it. My first sign should have been the fact that the calamari looked like strips of rubber. There was also a little guacamole and ceviche cart going around but no one seemed to get anything from it. I did eye another table's nachos so maybe I should've ordered that instead. Aside from the food, the service was pretty slow and the restaurant wasn't full. The restaurant itself was pretty cool though and had little airplanes hanging from the ceiling and had a bunch of screens playing Jimmy Buffett music. read more
Every time I end up at Cancun airport, I look forward to stopping at Margaritaville. The food is always good, and for me, it's a mixture of nostalgia and comfort. When I was in high school, we would go to Panama City Beach for spring break almost every year, and we would have to visit Margaritaville. There's nothing more fun and memory-filled than hearing "it's 5 o'clock somewhere" while enjoying good food. Food: I ordered the California burrito as is, and it was tasty. I try to order something different each time, so it's a plus that they serve breakfast. The egg was a little crispy on the sides like I like it, and the veggies were fresh and had a slight crunch, not overcooked. They served it with crispy tater tots, toast, and roasted salsa. I have to admit I wasn't sure about the salsa, but it was fresh and not too spicy. I would definitely order this again. Service: My server was delightful and made sure I had everything I needed. While recovering from a bachelorette trip, I opted out of the sunrise cocktails, but the list sounded delicious. I instead had fresh pineapple juice. He asked about my morning, not in a forced way but genuinely doing his job. Cost: The total was around 18 USD before tip, which is great at an airport because we know most things are overpriced once you get inside or don't taste well. Beware of this place, they prey off ignorant or rushed travelers. Prices are in Pesos, but the food is not priced towards Peso holders, it's priced towards people with many USD in their pocket that don't do the conversions. We paid $244 USD for a lunch for 2 and a few drinks during our 3 hour wait... I know this is a chain restaurant but we had a nice breakfast at the Cancun airport. Our server was friendly and provided good prompt service. I ordered the Cuban breakfast sandwich and my wife got the scrambled eggs and bacon. Both meals came with a nice helping of tater tots. I really enjoyed by sandwich. Fresh bread with pork and ham and cheese. No pickle though. I ended up putting some of my wife's salsa to give the sandwich some additional flavor. They let us take our time to enjoy our coffee. Not bad for a touristy airport restaurant. read more

Good service, good food and the size of the plates are plentiful. Ordered the Chicken Tinga Bowl and Crispy Calamari. The food was tasty and what you can expect. For drinks we got the unsweetened tea. Just be aware they don't do refills. Do recommend the place if you want a bite before a flight. read more

Food was amazing with nice size portions! Menu has alot of different options that you can choose from. And to top it off, the workers gave me a lemon drop shot for my birthday and sung to me and cheered me on with drinking my shot! Lol I loved it !! read more

Above average food in the CUN airport. Quick stop before my flight and somehow for two taco entrees and two bottles of water, I was charged $63? Makes no sense and the food wasn't anything special. read more
We stopped here on our way back to the states . The service was quick and they were able to seat 14 of us right away . We only had snacks and giant margaritas . When I say giant , think big gulp size . I had strawberry and it was pretty tasty . The nachos were large and great to share . The standout was the table side guacamole. It was really good . This is a good stop for an airport that has zero lounges in terminal 3 . read more
This place is located in the Cancun Airport. It's nothing special. Overpriced, below average food. Except the nachos, those are pretty amazing. Waiting for our flight back to Detroit, decided to eat here. Got nachos for the group. Covered in cheese, guacamole, chili, salsa, and other typical toppings. They were not skimpy on any toppings. DeLicious. And a huge portion! The quesadillas were nothing to write home about. Bland chicken and cheese. Our waiter was really nice and gave us good service. Service was slow as far as how long it took to get food and the time we waited between ordering drinks and getting them. Slow service at an airport is disappointing because we have flights to catch. An hour for a "quick" meal was far too long. That's really all I have. Nothing stuck out as being horrible, but nothing stuck out as being great. read more
Stopped in while waiting for my flight home. The place was packed out, but we were seated pretty quickly. They did a decent job of setting up barriers between tables or social distancing them, which we appreciated. The service here was slow, not great if you don't have tons of time before your flight. I just ordered some tacos and a "perfect" margarita, both of which were decent but nothing special. I don't usually expect airport food to be outstanding, so no complaints there. However, they upcharge for EVERYTHING. The waitress asked if cheese is ok on the tacos, and there was an unexpected additional fee. Considering the quality you receive, this place is crazy expensive (even considering a typical airport premium). If at all possible, I would recommend eating some of the amazing local food before coming to the airport, rather than dining once you are through security. read more
This review is for the bar only. This is a fairly big place right smack dab in the middle of the airport. It is a combination merchandise store and restaurant. Stopped in here for a quick drink before heading to my gate. I had already eaten at Guy Fieri's place for lunch (see review). Service was good, prices comparable to airport prices. However in retrospect, because this was Mexico, the prices seemed higher relatively speaking as we were getting killer deals on the outside The bartender was very nice, the place was clean, and people seemed to be enjoying their food. By that I mean I did not see any hangry customers. read more
Really spendy...even by airport standards. Packed tables, not very speedy service, standard food. Lunch for the two of us was $83.77 USD and not really remarkable (other than cost). Yeah, you're at an airport but 116 MP ($6 USD)for a small bottle of water. read more

Margaritaville the name says it all. A place to get margaritas. I didn't come here to get a culinary experience. I came here to drink margaritas and a Cuban sandwich for breakfast right before my flight. Like my bartender said the Fiesta must continue when in Cancun. The Cuban sandwich was very flavorful and well made. The service was great. read more

Despite being very busy the staff was friendly and the service was fast . We got a large and medium margarita and an order of chicken fingers with fries . It cost $77 USD , expensive but it's an airport . I enjoyed my margarita and the food , would go again read more
Asked for the most popular item on the menu. I had no choice but to order here since my gate was right in front. Ordered the chicken quesadilla and I can immediately smell the gamey foul smell of bad chicken. Stopped eating after one bite. Stay away and grab something from a restaurant with quality ingredients. read more

Had 2 nachos,1 taco, 1 fajita and 4 regular sized tequila with soda water. $305!!!! Should have made them charge in pesos and had my cc do conversion. Mediocre food. read more
