It's first-come, first-serve, so I recommend calling ahead to check availability before showing up. We had a great time renting Sea-Doos and enjoying the lake. Just a heads up for future renters: You're required to stay within sight of the rental facility at all times. Not a deal-breaker, but good to know in advance. Feedback for mgmt: Your staff is so nice! I will say just say that I don't love how you write down CC info. I understand having credit card info & waivers signed by renters responsible for any damage, but there has to be a better system than writing down CC #s, expiration dates, billing zip codes and CVC codes on paper at the open air check-in table.

The staff was unfriendly from the start and made us feel unwelcome. Five minutes into our ride, my wife and daughter accidentally entered a restricted area. We understand it was our mistake, but instead of simply explaining the situation, they brought them back to shore, wasting much of our rental time. After that, my wife didn't want to continue, so I went out with my daughter instead. She was so uncomfortable that she kept saying the staff member was going to come back and take us out again, so she couldn't enjoy the ride. Overall, the lack of customer service and the staff's attitude ruined what should have been a fun family experience. They showed no empathy or concern, even though there was a young child with us.

It also gives…read moreme a reason to go to Garwoods and drink a few Wet Woody's before boarding the cruise because the catamaran picks you up at the dock outside of Garwoods. Living in Reno, this has become my favorite way to spend time on the lake and when guests visit in the summer months, I have been taking them on this cruise. I've experienced the Mimosa Cruise and they are great at making sure your cup is constantly refreshed. The charcuterie board was very minimal and basic so I suggest eating before or bringing snacks with you to absorb the mimosas. I have also experienced the live music cruise but 10 min before boarding, I received a text saying the musician had double booked so there would be no live music and they offered $20 a person refund which to me seemed a bit ridiculous since the whole purpose of the live music cruise is live music. I felt like a better refund should have been offered or a coupon for 50% off the next cruise. The captain is a lively man and the two women who help steer the boat and serve drinks are great and a lot of fun. I will add that I before purchasing tickets for the first time, I called and left a message because I wanted to verify where the pickup location would be but no one called me back. Also, though I have fun on the cruise and plan to go again, I am a bit worried about the communication and policy of this company after reading other reviews that their cruise was canceled and they had a hard time getting refunded especially after my experience of no live music on a live music cruise and being told last minute and only receiving a small refund.

Tahoe price gouging kills me. $50 to launch my boat...okay...$50 more to take it out of the water. Please! I had a few friends that were going to meet me at the marina to jump in the boat. The marina told me they charge $20 or $25 (I can't remember the price) per person to walk in and get on my boat. I am not willing to pay for something like that. I picked them up from a dock near the marina instead. Unfortunately that is Tahoe for you. The ramp was easy to use and it was small so it only held one truck and trailer at a time. Gotta get there early so there is room to park your rig. I'll go there again due to the convenience, but not for a while.

This is one of the most fun things you can do in Tahoe, renting a boat, heading over to emerald bay and pulling people on the tubes along the way! - 1 star for not enough instruction on pulling the tube or using an anchor. two years in a row I've had the rope get caught in the propeller and cut up. I also had to request an anchor, it wasn't offered and this is one of the fun things you wanna do is anchor somewhere and eat lunch and swim off the boat. also too expensive. They could knock the price down a bit for sure, but people keep paying it so they keep jacking it up every year I guess?

Pictures/footage are available for purchase after. I'd recommend taking a sturdy phone lanyard with you so you can safely take your own photos and videos up in the air. I did book this a week in advance and when called I was told the experience would be 30 mins in air minimum - also on the website. This was not the case as we had some large groups with us and the whole boat ride is an hour so you get at most 8-15 mins. Also, the height in air you select dosent really matter. They don't ask and everyone kind of gets the same ride no matter what they chose. Beware that in the morning it's pretty cold especially in up in the air. You take off your shoes as soon as you board the boat and they do dip your toes in when bringing you back down. Also usually morning trips are less booked since it's colder. Also make sure you're atleast 10 minutes early to have time to sign the waiver paperwork and so you don't miss the boat.

We decided to take a chance, and I'm really glad we did. The whole process was super easy. We literally just walked up, rented a jet ski for two people, and were out on the water pretty quickly. Everyone was really friendly, and they explained all the rules and safety stuff in a way that was clear and easy to understand. There is a designated area you're supposed to stay within, but it wasn't hard to follow at all and there was still plenty of room to have fun. We the best time! If you're looking to rent a jet ski in South Lake Tahoe and you're unsure where to go, I'd definitely recommend this place. Easy process, nice staff, and a really fun experience overall.

We did not understand that it was a restricted swimming area. We saw other watercraft and people paddling nearby so we didn't know we can't go that area. We also slowed down as we approached the shore and we believed we were following the rules that had been explained to us, including staying within the designated boundaries and not accelerating in restricted zones. Instead of clearly explaining the situation or giving us a warning, two staff members approached us angrily and told us we could not continue riding because we were "trying to kill people." When the rules were explained before the rental, we were told about the boundaries and what to do if we wanted to switch riders, but we were never clearly told which route to take when returning to shore or how to identify swimming-only areas. When we brought this up, staff simply said that the rules were included in the paperwork we signed. We were only told that it was our own responsibility if something happened to us before signing. No one specifically told us to carefully review additional riding rules!!!
