AC wasn't working well, called them out. They showed up within the hour, checked everything out. At first they thought it was a freon leak but then discovered the air intake was being blocked by something. Clearing that got it working and they said if there is another problem, it should show itself and to give them a call back. They were professional, friendly, and quick. Split for a long deserved Covid lock down trip to see my in-laws after nearly after 2 and half years. We decided to leave the pups with a house sitter to have more time with family. After many hours of traveling we arrived at our destination only to learn the that the AC went out which I had a good idea was not too far from happening. The system that I had was from 1998 so I definitely got my money's worth. I was contacted by our friend and house sitter who stated that the my upstairs unit had quit at some point and the upstairs was 89 degrees. I got recommendation from our friend Susan about Mark and his company Air Trust out of Donelson. It was a Saturday and Mark answered my call and said he we send out his son to take a look. Mark's son called me back and stated he got it restarted after resetting the system, (no charge) however the prognosis was bleak as I have been told I was on burrowed time before. Mark quoted a price for a new unit and furnace. Mark educated me on the Amana brand that was way more efficient then my old 1998 model as you can imagine. Mark and team installed the entire system in about 2 and half hours on Wednesday morning at 0630 and finished just before 9am. I watched most of the install from my Ring Cameras. I returned the following day from Florida with a flawless comfortable product running at 14 Seers. Mark's communication skills were great and if I ever had any questions Mark responded immediately. Mark even called in the warranty information activation for us as well worked out the payment to my liking. I can't speak to any of the other review that we low, but I can just say that we had a great experience and I have a the right company to take of all my AC and Heating needs for the remainder of my time here on earth. To echo another reviewer: Mark is great! He is utterly trustworthy and doesn't sell you work that you don't need. Everything that they've done for us been completed promptly and worked perfectly. Mark's team has: * Installed an additional return air vent on our single zone system * Diagnosed our AC when it mysteriously stopped working (and, if I recall correctly, didn't charge us once they discovered it was a problem with our then-ancient electrical box) * Installed a new gas furnace when our ancient unit finally died * Installed a minisplit in our finished basement I plan to have them replace our AC unit in the near future, too. read more

I had Air Trust come out on Tuesday to fix my broken unit...The associate that came out was very nice and helpful. He replaced my capacitor and was on the way relatively quickly. However, my unit never cooled off and I spent the next 2 days in 76 degree + heat. I finally called them back (today) and had them send someone else out. Upon arrival and running some "tests" the supervisor and technician at my home informed me that I was mistaken and that a small condo would only reach 76 in 86 degree weather. The supervisor clearly thought he knew everything and talked over me in a borderline rude manner. They were courteous enough to uninstall the capacitor and grant me a refund (hence the 2 stars). Flash forward to now, I used a competitor company... they gave me a new capacitor actually CHECKED MY AIR FILTER and fixed my whole issue in 15 minutes. They even stayed while I cleaned/dried off and reinstalled the clogged filter and gave me advice on having an A/C in my laundry room. In short, Airtrust didn't even check my air filter and treated me like I was clueless when I questioned why my house was 76 degrees after having them come out twice. New company checked everything, fixed problem for cheaper and faster. The technician was friendly and they did give me a refund, but I won't be referring anyone to this company. read more

I don't think you will find a more caring, honest, reliable, reasonably priced and maybe even the best priced HVAC co. than Air Trust HVAC. When my AC didn't kick in on a Friday night, Sat AM I started asking around and searching online for an honest co. I could trust. I was once an "insider" and know of many horror stories where dishonest things are done to homeowners by some companies so that was a concern. Mark's co. was highly recommended, repeatedly, in neighborhoods surrounding me. The majority of his reviews on various sites had heart-felt comments, showing that he truly cares about people. He does what he can to help in any way possible. I'm so happy that I went ahead with him because that was my exact experience. Every one of his crew was friendly, conscientious and hard working. They got the job done fast and everything looked perfect. But what I want to stress is that this is a company that truly cares about people. I think that if you treat them right, they will bend over backwards to give you the best experience possible. So I called around to several HVAC services to see who I could get to come out the fastest since my AC was out. I got a hold of guy named Mark that came across very helpful and willing to earn my business. After talking with Mark for 5 mins he said he would have to check his schedule to see when he could come out and that he had another call he had to grab and would call me right back... Well an hour passed by and another company came out to my house, still without a call from Mark. As soon as the other HVAC company left I got a call from Mark saying that one of his guys were headed my way. I quickly told him to tell his guy to turn back around and this is when things turned ugly. Mark said I that I told him to come on out to my house which I never did since he never called back to give me a time. Also, I was never quoted a diagnostic fee if he were to come out. I mean who hires someone to come to their house without seeing what their fees are? He proceeded to call me a LIAR and that I've been WASTING HIS TIME!He said his driver was on the road for 20mins and would be at my house in 20mins. I was confused as to why he sent someone to my house without telling me? He told me that he didn't appreciate me stringing him along and doing all this extra yelling and screaming through my phone but luckily I have an iPhone with an END button. Takeaways from this: Don't give them your address at the beginning of the call as they may assume you are telling them to come to your home. I'll never know if they do quality work but Air Trust will never earn my business! Especially when one of their employees is negligent and disrespectful to potential customers. I trusted the reviews but that was a mistake. Only use this company if you want your house slandered, to be horrendously overcharged, and have to clean water out of your basement. I reached out at around 3pm on a Friday and did not receive a response until almost 7pm Monday. That should have been the first red flag. Tech scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10. Someone provided access for the tech who I found out later was only there for around 15 minutes. Tech replaced the thermostat (about $25) and the fan controller board (about $35) and they charged me $475. After sending the payment I became curious why this visit was almost same amount as the previous visit ($480) which was supposedly a more complicated and expensive issue. Upon asking I was berated instead of simply receiving an explanation. Also, apparently his trained tech was absent on breaker flipping day because he forgot to turn the condensate pump back on which resulted in water pooled in the basement. read more

We called to get bids from several companies because our upstairs, with a loft, vaulted ceilings, and bonus room, simply wouldn't stay cool. I called Mark about getting 2 new HVAC units. He called me back the same day, was at my house the next day and installation occurred in the same week. The installation was 3 hours with a friendly and professional team. All floors were completely covered and there was absolutely NO mess. I left for work and by the time I came home I had a cool and efficient house. Mark was able to find me units BRAND NEW at a discounted price because of a superficial scratch. The total price ended up being significantly lower than any other company I had spoke with. Mark and this company are patient, timely, clean, trustworthy and honest.
