I'm sitting here cool and happy, writing this review as the temperature outside continues into the 90s, all thanks to Ihar from AirCon LLC! From the start, Ihar was professional, skilled, and incredibly patient. He stuck with me through weeks of back and fourth with my HOA- scheduling delays, paperwork... even though he promptly provided the paperwork they had requested. On top of all this, the job itself wasn't easy. This was a retrofit situation with a sleeve/ casing that had no bottom panel. As if this weren't bad enough, the 30+ year old through-the-wall AC unit was stuck half way inside the sleeve, seriously wedged in. Using various tools and a lot of determination, Ihar was able to dislodge it, and showed me the chunks of masonry that had come loose and were wedged in behind it! After Ihar got the AC out, it was pretty much smooth sailing from there. He made the complex retrofit look easy. He installed a precut galvanized steel sheet to the sleeve to act as the bottom panel, drilled the drain holes, showed me how he was leveling it for proper drainage, etc. and kept me informed every step of the way until everything was sealed up properly and the AC installed perfectly. He double checked everything and even went out several times in the heat to check it from the outside. Not sure how he had any energy left after all this, but he finished the job by taking the old unit, which to me looked well over a 100 lbs., down a flight of stairs and into his vehicle for proper disposal. Through it all, Ihar was calm, patient, and clearly knew what he was doing. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. I wanted to share this for anyone else in a similar situation who is dealing with a tricky retrofit or just need someone who is reliable and experienced. I am so grateful I found AirCon LLC! I want to thank Ihar for taking on this complex job during this hot weather and for willing to work with me even though I am way out of his service area. Our Window AC needed a deep cleaning and I couldn't have been happier than with the service provided by Ihar from Aircon from start to finish. Great communication, extremely nice and reliable, very professional and for a very fair price he took the AC out of the window in a manner that didn't soil the apartment (he even took his shoes off coming into the apartment ), cleaned it in front of the building until it looked great again and put it back. This is the man you want to hire! He was courteous, professional, diligent, and super polite. He installed two new AC units, and removed my old, tired unit, all in about an hours' time. The Aircon does a decent job of cooling down my space, but it can be a bit noisy at times. It took me a while to figure out the settings, and I expected a smoother operation overall. While it gets the job done, it's not without its quirks. I appreciate the energy efficiency but wish it didn't struggle during really hot days. Asked to install 2 air conditioners in a horizontally sliding window. They did a great job putting it up, and removed the old air conditioners as well. Scheduling was easy, the quote was free and fair, and they helped select out the ACs that would work well for the areas. Igor was fantastic. He removed my old wall AC and replaced it with one I had on the 2nd floor than installed a new Midea U shape AC on the second floor. Very clean and efficient.
