I didn't have the maintenance contract so it was a little expensive. They offer a nice array of maintenance contract choices, so I selected one. The next time, the price was... zero! For another issue, 59 dollars. Very experienced staff with a system that is under control. You call, you get an answer. Polite. Added bonus is that they do plumbing as well. Drained my outside spigot lines for the winter for free as part of the maintenance contract. Made some recommendations for my systems without any sales pressure and gave believable reasons for them. So I recommend them without reservation. Get a maintenance contract, even if it's the cheapest one. Pays for itself.

We have eight large, expensive HEPA air cleaners running constantly , and still had to dust DAILY. Further, the humidity in our home regularly measured 65% to 88% (87% as I write this). When I complained to the technicians (who allegedly performed maintenance/tuneups twice annually), they told me neither the dust or humidity problems had anything to do with the system they installed and maintained. I asked for an estimate to add a device for fresh air circulation, an air cleaner, and a whole house dehumidifier - never heard back! Not long ago, immediately after one of the maintenance visits, I opened the basement intake grill and found a dead mouse inches inside. How did the mouse get in if the system is sealed without openings, gaps, or leaks? And why didn't they see the mouse during their "tune up"? They did not check static pressure, did not check for duct or handler leaks - obviously did not seal the leaks they didn't even check for - did not even check humidity levels or clean the blower and other mechanisms - they took zero action to address my concerns. Then they claimed a $2000 repair was our fault for dust in the system - when that open air filter slot and multiple leaks in the actual unit and in ducts were violently sucking dirty air from the unfinished basement, attic and more - thanks to their faulty installation and negligence. And yet they told us the repair wasn't covered under warranty by attempting to blame us! Per my understanding, much of what they did violated international code standards and state/county code. I don't even know if they pulled a permit. Unbelievable.

I contacted Hugo at the end of summer 2016 because my AC unit wasn't providing cold air throughout my house. He came out on a day I was working from home, thoroughly inspected everything, it took him some time, and he did it for free. He was friendly, respectful, and very professional. He made suggestions, taught me a couple things about heating and cooling, then advised me purchase a new unit because the system I had was an older lower end model. He also quoted me for cost to repair my older unit, which I wanted to avoid because I knew it reached it's lifespan. He quoted me on a couple of new units, and options for investing on an AC unit with no furnace. He also suggested that I contacted his competition, which I did in the following weeks only to be disappointed. Hugo called me back about a month later, I kindly declined because it was fall and it was cooler outside. I thanked him for his service and told him that I would contact him before the spring season. The moment we had our first 60 degree day in February/March 2017, I called Hugo and asked him to quote me on the same options he provided in the fall. The previous time I spoke with him he warned me that prices usually increase yearly but I was surprised they didn't go up much, and didn't break the bank. His team scheduled the new AC/furnace installation on a day that worked with my schedule. It took awhile (which was expected) for them to complete, but they did a great job! The installation guys were also very nice and did a great job, It's only been a few days so the system is running fine. The only gripe is that they left a lot of trash and residual foil and scrap pieces of the old ac up there. It was a pretty tidy space so it was noticeable and a little disappointed that they would leave parts and trash up there. I would say give them a call for service or new installation, but ask them to remove any trash and leave the place somewhat cleaned up. You pay a lot of money to replace a whole system and to find the space messy left a poor taste. It could've been an excellent service, but an oversight in minor details made it mediocre.
