Airport Auto went above and beyond my expectations. Eric did impressive work on my son's car and returned it looking better than brand new!

I am grateful that I decided to return to Airport Auto as I had taken multiple vehicles there over that last 3 decades. After switching insurance companies ~ 1 1/2 years ago I had my first accident in over 10 years. I was referred elsewhere by my insurance and just felt I should stop and see what Mark or Eric had to say about my vehicle damage and repairs. It was brought to my attention that continuing to drive my vehicle could lead to more damage, so I decided to leave it at Airport Auto. Eric was managing my repairs and expeditiously provided a thorough estimate providing it to my claims representative. Eric had spent an excessive amount of time dealing with my incompetent field claims representative who horribly underestimated my damage and repairs. Needless to say, Eric stayed strong and did not let this person manipulate him into accepting lower quality parts or perform low quality work and repaired my vehicle to its previous state. Mark Zeller, co-owner of Airport Auto Rebuilders, told me that it was industry standard to blend paint when one body part is close to an adjacent body part. But the bumper and quarter panel weren't blended when my car was repaired at Airport Auto Rebuilders. Insurance adjuster had a check written to me to have it repainted. Very professional, high quality craftsmanship. Total comunication from the beginning to the end, they even straightened out some of the shitty work A OK auto did. They pointed out the problems to the adjuster and got extra fixed for me. Then they completely detailed the car after fixing it, the car looked better than when I bought it. A month later the fender had a loose bolt, I pulled up and the owner came out with his tools and fixed it with a smile. I highly wreck amend! read more

I was rear ended by someone without license or insurance. I came here, payed out of pocket to have a new rear bumper put on and painted. I got into a hit and run accident about two months ago . I waited a whole month and half for my insurance to do an actual estimate so that I could take it to a shop. I live around the midway area so I wanted a shop that was close to home. My brother in law Daniel told me to go to airport auto since he used to deliver them parts from firestone/o'reillys and he would always see the nice cars parked in the front. I went in talked to Susana and mark they gave me their estimate and I was perfectly fine with it I was happy to hear from mark that he would put Honda oem parts. My insurance wanted to pay for after market parts so I was more than happy to hear that from mark. I didn't mind paying the difference. Dropped off the car on may 22 took about a week for the insurance to go back again to get another estimate and just wait another two weeks for the estimate to get approved it was more the wait from waiting for the insurance to respond because once we got the second check mark got started working on the car. He order the parts right away and they got there the next day and him and his team started working on it. They finished it in about a week or two. Got my baby back on June 25 & best believe it looks as if nothing happen to it. It was even washed and vacuumed it smelled like a new car, I just wanted to hug my car of how nice it looked. I wish I could give them 10 stars! I just picked up my 2016 yellow mustang convertible that was hit in multiple spots while pulled to the side of the road. My baby looks brand new inside and out! I couldn't be happier with the results or service provided! There was a long delay in getting the insurance figured out the communication was great every step of the way. They made sure I was aware when the the person who hit me's insurance company was trying to push of substandard parts and not repair everything and they helped me get everything straight. I just had another FANTASTIC experience at Airport Auto Rebuilders. I took my car there because it was making a squeaky noise which I thought was related to some previous work that was performed by them back in August 2015. Eric and his crew took a look at my car, test drove it and within 15 minutes figured out what was wrong with it which had nothing to do with the work they performed. AND they didn't charge me. When I took my car to the dealer for the same issue, they had it for 2 days and couldn't figure it out. Once again I was treated with respect and given outstanding customer service. I'm a busy women who basically knows how to put gas in a car and drive it. But the folks at Airport auto rebuilders talk to me and treat me with dignity and I feel like they're rates are fair. poor customer service, I have a mid 70s car that need some plastic parts painted. I saw this place on a mustang forum so I went by and asked them if they could do the job. The guy explained that although they don't normally do that kind of work he could do it but needed the car at the shop to match the paint. a day later I drive the car over have all the parts ready. he looks at the car and tells me yeah front and rear bumper parts would be a quote of 2000 dollars. I'm desperate to get them done and back on the car so I say as long as its done right no problem. He then proceeds to tell me well I can do it but were about a week behind give me your number I will call you when were ready. ok great, three weeks later no call, so I stop by and ask if they still want to do it. I tell them if you cant do it just say so I understand, oh no he tells me I got your number we are behind I will call you. well six weeks later no call either way. I found a northside shop National Auto works who painted the parts in 9 days with the proper flex additives and prep, for 800 bucks! they are done on the car and are fantastic. National Autobody was way more professional and reasonable. Airport Auto rebuilders you lost a sale. I have few cars and if I need any body work or collision repair I will be going elsewhere. you had an opportunity to have a loyal customer, now someone else gets my business. All you had to do was say you couldn't do it. and nice stick it up somebody's butt quote stay away go somewhere else. read more

People should really understand that there is a major difference in quality when it comes to auto body repair. I am a very particular person when it comes to my vehicles. A few weeks back I was hit in my car. I was very concerned about the color matching up in the event it needed to be painted. Anyone who knows paint, knows silver is a tough color to match. I've had some odds and ends painted for my cars before by Airport, so I knew how much care they take of anything they touch. Mark and Eric live and breathe body work these guys know their stuff!!!! I went in for a free estimate. I was met by a rude receptionist, who acted like it was such an issue to get someone from the back. Mark ( the owner) walks outside with me. I being to show him what Im looking to get fixed and general questions about the work. This guy begins to completely insult me and my vehicle, making comments such as "i hope you got a good deal on this" I mean what business owner says something like that to someone who is there to spend money? He actually spent 5 seconds looking at the issue I brought there for. So after his precious 5 seconds he begins walking around the car pointing out every single cosmetic issue with the vehicle. I usually do not leave reviews often, but I felt this was a must. Coming in with the expectation of the average body shop, I brought my car here from the recommendation of my insurance company. I dealt mostly with Eric when I went there. The second I pulled up the first thing that I was asked was if I was okay from the accident, something I highly appreciated. Not only did these guys clearly lay out how everything was going to work, but the repair was done quicker than expected and the work that was done looks great and I had zero issues with it. Communication was incredible with them, as I knew everything that was going on with the repair process at any given time. When I picked the car up it felt as if they truly appreciated me as a customer. Almost any body shop can do a pretty good repair and make it look good, but these guys really stepped it up a notch and gave incredible customer service. Thanks for doing great work!
