I liked our salesman, Barry, but overall the dealership is untrustworthy. We bought a trailer from here earlier in the year, took many photos and videos of it before purchase. They told us they did a very thorough inspection of every aspect of the trailer and anything that needed maintenance or repairs were taken care of. We went through with the purchase and drove it back home over an hour away. They all seemed very helpful. One of the things we requested was that they replace the two old batteries, which they agreed to. We later found out that they had removed the two batteries and replaced it with a single battery, thus making the amount of electricity storage half as what we agreed to buy. Furthermore, the black tank valve was not working, so on our very first camp that same week, our sewage was just dripping all out. I contacted them and they eventually assured me they would reimburse my costs to add another battery and replace the black tank valve. I even cut the costs down by spending my personal time taking care of these things instead of hiring a mobile tech to come to my home. I sent the receipt in and was told I would receive a reimbursement in the mail. Fast forward 6 months and I have yet to receive a check. I have contacted them and received no reply and still no check. At this point, I would say that I would for certain avoid this dealership. If they want to rip me off for less than $500, that's a shame and should be embarrassing. read more

This is my third review of Airstream Orange County. The first review was quite favorable regarding the sales experience. The second article I submitted was very negative; and I still have to hold to my remarks. However, I will confess that I was rather frustrated and disappointed; and by luck of the draw, I ended up with an Airstream vehicle that was not up to the Airstream standard. By default; I realize every now and then there is going to be a bad apple in the bunch; or in automotive vernacular, a lemon! Since that time, I have cooled off quite a bit; and accepted my fate. I now own an Airstream Ridgeline; which I have used daily for the past six months or so. (I live in the Ridgeline full-time with my dog.) Having acclimated to the RV lifestyle; I have come to realize that the use and stress on the equipment is much greater when you live in the vehicle full-time; than someone who takes a trip four or five times a year. Even with the heavy use on the camper; I have only had one repair needed; which was probably more caused by operator malfunction; then by a defect in the workmanship or materials. So I wanted to write this third review and say that I am very happy with the service and effort put forth by the staff at the Orange County dealership. My sales representative is Bobby; and he has become a good friend. On his own time, and at his own insistence; he drove 20 miles after work and spent over two hours with me to get me situated after the malfunction that I mentioned above. Robert in the service department; has been flexible and communicative; and has been very courteous. Also, Candace has helped me a great deal with warranty information and insurance matters; which saved me a lot of hassle and time. It's too bad that I had a difficult experience; but, it wasn't a lack of sincerity or effort of anyone on staff at Airstream Orange County. This review is probably not the place to make the following comment; but I want to give a shout out to Matt and pray that he is doing well in his present challenges. HORRIBLE experience with Airstream Orange County's service department. On January 2, 2025, I brought my RV in for what should have been a minor repair: fixing a sliding power side step that wasn't working and an awning that kept getting stuck. Since then, I've been calling repeatedly to get updates, only to be met with Ricky's mailbox asking me to leave my contact information--no follow-ups, no updates, nothing. Today, I finally spoke with the receptionist, who informed me that all their service advisors including Ricky and Scott, have left the company and that a new advisor will start on January 20, 2025. I was told to wait until then for any update on the status of my RV. This level of disorganization and complete lack of communication is beyond unacceptable. I bought my RV to use and enjoy, not to have it sit indefinitely at a service center without any progress or information. Airstream is supposed to be a premium brand, but the service I've received has been far from premium. I expected professionalism, accountability, and much better customer service. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I strongly advise others to think twice before relying on Airstream Orange County for service. read more

We had gotten our little Airstream just a few months ago and taken it on a few short weekend excursions to begin getting ourselves acclimated with travel life. Our new experiences have all been very memorable thus far... but truth be told, we came across a few small items about our trailer along the way that we needed to have addressed. Note, we didn't buy anything and just came to look. Sales staff was not pushy and didn't harass you. You can walk in and out of the airstreams on the lot. They have airstreams (used) for sale on consignment, but if you want to buy new it is actually currently cheaper to buy a new trailer than used due to the current wait time for delivery. His name is Erick Sharrow. From the day I picked up my trailer until now (8 months later), Erick has provided the white glove treatment time and again. He was kind enough to allow me to film his new owner walkthrough so that I could create short videos for our guests to help them understand how to operate everything in and outside the Airstream (We Airbnb our trailer). The guests always comment on how helpful Erick's videos are. Erick even gave me his personal contact and has never failed to return my calls, anytime I've needed help troubleshooting something I didn't understand. In my opinion, Erick is the absolute best guy you could have in his job. We are thrilled to share our experience in regards to the exceptional team we encountered at Airstream of Orange County! From our initial visit where we met Danny in the sales department, we knew we had made the right choice. Danny did not hover or make us feel pressured at all.
