The service here is so so... I've been a customer of Aisha's since 2009. When I was driving to Hillcroft original locations for YEARSSSSSS. And I keep my loyalty hold punch cards forever. This was my 1st time here, never coming again. We both agreed on the length of the hair ending past my shoulders and she chopped it to a Bob cut length. I noticed the look on her face when as she was cutting when she realized she messed up but she just kept on cutting away all scissor happy. Asked for layers too, i showed pics AND a video and she messed tht up too. Basically made it frizzy. Almost cried in the chair bc I love braiding my hair, I love my long hair and she ruined it. My first and last time visiting this salon. I chose it because it is a few minutes away from my house and I wanted a simple blowout which I thought any salon could easily handle. The shampoo wasn't very thorough at all. My scalp didn't feel clean, and the bottom half of my scalp was neglected, just given a quick once over with an open palm. I have very thick, long hair and live in one of the hottest cities on earth, that will just not do. The blow dry itself was also incomplete! She blow dried it in sections but again, totally neglected the roots and 4-5 inches of hair below that. She said I was done and I thought she was kidding. My hair was a frizzy mess and my roots were still WET!! There was a language barrier but I told her my hair is still wet. She blow dried it for another five minutes, not very thorough again, and insisted I was done. I walked out of there NOT looking like I had just been at a salon at all. Looking extremely frizzy instead of smooth blow dried hair like I am used to from other salons. Two stars because the ladies were nice enough, but I will never be going back, this place is a joke!!! I ended up going home and redoing it all myself, which I wanted to avoid doing on a birthday weekend! Complete waste of time and money. read more

This location serves WOMEN ONLY. Men are not allowed past the reception area. They have stamp cards for eyebrow services that I will NEVER be using. I had the eyebrow experience from hell! I wish the finished product matched the customer service. They made a great first impression. I expected at least satisfactory eyebrows after being greeted and asked to wait. Even the person who did my eyebrows, Summiya, treated me well. However, my eyebrows were the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what I asked! I told Summiya, my eyebrows had grown out and I wanted shape but I didn't want thin eyebrows. She said okay, worked on my right eyebrow and when she was done with my right eyebrow, she showed it to me to see what I thought. It was extremely thin! She said she had to make it thin or else she couldn't give it shape. I wish she had told me BEFORE she started so I would have gone somewhere else or have someone else do them! There was no turning back. She made one eyebrow thin so the other eyebrow would have to be thin too. When she finished my left eyebrow, she didn't show it to me though. She started massaging my eyebrows with some sort of gel, which was fine. What wasn't fine was she used the gel to massage my eyes! My nightmare had taken a turn for the worse. All other places massage your eyebrows, forehead, and temples, never your eyes! I wish Summiya had used better judgment when she saw that I had makeup on. Instead she rubber/smeared off my makeup! There was no logic in massaging my eyes with the gel! I finally got to see both eyebrows together and saw that they were exactly what I didn't want. They were very thin and did not match! The arches were in different locations and my left one was thinner than the right. I could not wait to leave! As much as I would like to think there are other ladies who are much better skilled and can actually listen to and follow the wants/needs of customers, I will not be returning to find out! I called before hand to confirm what time they closed, they told me 7. I raced over and arrived at 6:40 only for them to tell me "I'm sorry". There is a hidden treasure on their staff members that I want people to know. Her name is Nida. She is a master make-up Artist. She has done very special custom make ups for me at a very affordable price and for very special occasions. I just tell her what i want and she always exceeds my expectations. You must try her! DO NOT USE THIS STYLIST (stylist #5) I'm not normally one to post bad reviews but I can't let this slide. This was supposed to be a self care day to de-stress and instead its turned into a disaster. I had stylist #5 and asked to take 1/4-1/2 inch off, shape it, and not to add layers. I even showed her photos to help give her an idea of what i wanted. Somehow all that got ignored and she chopped 2 whole inches off, added layers and barely even shaped it. I could be okay with the length if it looked good but the layers and back are so uneven and choppy that I'm pretty sure a toddler could do just as good of a job. One side is nearly and inch shorter than the other and there are chunks of hair that stick out way longer than the rest, especially one strand on the right that looks like it's an inch and a half longer than the surrounding ones. I've included a picture to show that I'm not just saying this either. Thankfully the manager took one look at it and agreed to not make me pay but this stylist should never have been given a cosmetology degree. read more

When I was in the 8th grade, one of our assignments was to write down what we liked most about ourselves. While I now believe the question was meant to highlight a talent, I wrote down, "My eyebrows." I used to frequent a different Aisha's location but it was always a hit-or-miss. I have fairly unruly eyebrows, but that gives threaders a lot to work with. I despise having my thicker brows turn into pencil thin lines or half circles when a natural arch already exists to follow, AND after I have given specific instructions about the width preference. I'd walk out with perfect eyebrows one day and the next three visits, the same threader would give me two thin, mismatched brows that couldn't be fixed because so much had already been taken off. At the Copperfield location, I've had two different ladies work on my brows. I've finally found someone who can shape BOTH of my eyebrows to compliment my face shape. Sophia (sic maybe it's Sofia) is awesome and I absolutely recommend her. Sometimes she even does a mini eyebrow massage , which no one else has ever done after a session. I only hope I don't jinx myself and end up with crazy brows the next time I ask for her! read more

Sana is the eyebrow pro! Even though the lady in the front is maaaad rude and they're all talking ishh about their owner. Regardless of all these shenanigans, I'd take Sana's work over any others! No pain. No bumps. No burning. The shape or pic you show her, she'll give you one even better. And the best part is just walking in and being out in half hour or so (at night like around 6-7pm) without having to make any appointments. And it's soooo cheap. $7 for eyebrows. 3 for upperlips! Alright, I love Aisha's and was excited about the groupon that came out earlier today, but was disappointed to find it it was only for certain locations, my usual one is off Hillcroft. I went to the Copperfield location because its right by work and I was hoping this one would easily become my regular spot. Sad day in eyebrow land y'all. I walked around looking like Cookie Monster for five months to only have my hopes and dreams of a wicked brow being dashed today at Aisha's. I explained explained to her exactly what I wanted. "keep them thick, especially at the start of the brow and shape and clean them. Don't worry about the areas that are spares because I'll fill them in." Her response, "I'll do my best." I guess I should have declined her services after her reply because she did a pretty crappy job and actually reshaped the eyebrow that I have the less trouble with into some super awkward looking thing. Usually, I'm not pissed at such things but considering the fact that I have about a teaspoon of hair on my head it's very important that my eyebrows are on point! I feel bad saying it because she was so sweet but avoid Vaishali for threading! I feel she is a novice because she took sooooo long to thread my eyebrows that my arms were tired of stretching. In the end, my eyebrows were uneven, rather thin, and had tooooo many cuts. There was plenty of hair left too but it was too small for her to thread- which is rubbish! I got my upperlip too and three cuts there. I wanted a portion of my cheeks done- but she failed miserably there- right now i have big red blotches (that many cuts) on the cheek area she attempted and gave up (Thank God!!) before it became gory. I came here to get my eyebrows done like I normally do and expected a solid, high quality treatment like I normally do. Today, the lady who did my eyebrows explicitly did not listen to my plea to only do a little bit of cleaning up and not take too much off. I am so upset with the treatment that I got. The right eyebrow is okay slightly thinner than I would have liked but still okay. The left eyebrow is completely thinned and there's no shape left to it. Yes that's right not only are my eyebrows uneven but they are also completely thinned despite my explicit instructions. After that the aesthetician has the audacity to try and sell me some products! If you care about your eyebrows don't come here. I went here today, as I used to go here 10 years ago. The woman who did my eyebrows was supposed to just clean them up. She did my eyebrows while waiting for a brow tint service on another client. She rushed my service because of this. She was rude in her mannerisms. She basically removed half my eyebrows, and the arch is different in both brows. My eyebrows are now uneven as well as half the thickness that I had worked so hard to grow. I look horrible, and I will never return. Don't enter this place if you care about your brows. read more
