Do not attempt to go here if you are not south East Asian or perhaps Indian. The treatment I received was below any I have ever experienced. The therapist was very cold and basically did not want to attend to me. Was very rude and threw a changing cloth at me when I stopped by for waxing. I asked if she did not want to attend to me. Responded very rudely. I promptly got up and picked up my bag and left. Not one person tried to find out what the issue was. They all clearly was racist and did not want to attend to me. The Worst Brazilian Blowout Ever! Bad experience! If I could, I would leave 0 stars. The facility was clean and nice. The person threading my brows was on the phone while servicing me. The actual threading was so harsh and hurt so bad. My eyebrows were throbbing red and the lady asked for aloe. She put it on my used tissue in my hand and made me put it on vs the other aisha salons where they put it on. Plus my tissue was covered In my hair. My eyebrows are extremely red and still pulsing from pain an hour later. I also feel she removed hair and ruined my shape, while missing hair that should be removed. Definitely do not recommend. Stay away!! read more

I first started going to Aisha's locations 15 years ago for eyebrow threading. Aisha's is still my go-to threading place around the area. Needless to say, I was pretty happy to find out that this location would be opening in Riverstone. They're temporarily offering 50% off all services as part of their grand opening special. The eyebrow threading was fine -- no complaints. My favorite eyebrow threader is still Ping, who works at the Williams Trace @ Hwy 6 location. I also got a haircut, which included bang trim. The same lady who did my eyebrows also did my haircut -- that should have been my first red flag, but by the time I found out it would be her doing my haircut too, I was already sitting in her chair so it would've been awkward to change my mind and leave. The bang trim was horrific. I told her I like side-swept bangs to about eyebrow level. She cut my bangs super short (not even close to my eyebrows) and choppy. They're not side-swept -- there's a blunt choppy angle at the edge of my bangs that I can't get rid of. (The bang trim is normally $10 they said -- NEVER get a bang trim here. Ever. Please.) Good thing hair grows back & good thing I don't have any major events or photo shoots coming up -- only Christmas which is in 6 days. read more

Shabnam was my eyebrow tech today, I am not sure what is happening to this franchise which is super unfortunate because I've known the owners I stay then customers at my business for many years and they are just amazing amazing incredibly intelligent individuals and it's so frustrating to see that their friend is just going down hill severely. they lack customer service skills she completed my eyebrows I look in the mirror and there is so much hair left she tells me OK after I do the middle part you're done so look in the mirror so much hair is left and then I tell her I'm like hello like what did you do when she was threading it I didn't even feel it on my eyebrow she was just threading thin air. Then she goes on to tell me she's not done and she was just making sure I liked my shake I have micro blading eyebrows so there isn't much you can do with she and then she completed to finish my upper lip because she knew she did a horrendous job. It's so unfortunate because I live so close to here but I go maybe once a year because of an emergency or something. I don't know who owns this Aishaa location but you should invest in hiring a completely new entire staff and invest on training your employees. If yelp allowed me to rate negative 10 I would. The owner(s) of this location should be utterly embarrassed and ashamed they have terrible reviews on yelp. Came here for eyebrow threading. Been coming here for months and they have very high turn over with employees. I can't seem to get the same person. I have micro-bladed brows and I told the lady to be very careful since I had them done 3 months prior. "Just clean up the stray hairs"...I believe her name was Mona. Mona said no problem "I don't have a heavy hand" that was the first red flag. After she was done I looked and noticed an entire chunk of my eye brow were missing!! She claimed "you came in like that"... ummm excuse me? I was lost for words that this lady told me I came in with missing chunk in my eyebrows, wouldn't I have noticed I had missing eyebrow hair!?? She essentially blamed me and would NOT take accountability for her mistake. I asked for my money back and had to pay for another session of micro-blade. My girlfriend went to Aisha's for a trim. She loves her long hair but wanted to get rid of split ends so she asked for an inch off. She showed the hair stylist how much she wanted off, about an inch. The stylist cut off around 7 inches of hair to "even out the back". That's not at all what she was told to do and my girl friend is rightfully sad about it. Her and her family all love their natural, long hair so it actually is a big deal that the stylist cut her hair so short. I just don't understand how someone can misinterpret "just a trim" for "let's just even it out and cut off all this hair". Her hair used to hang down to her lower back, now it hangs at her upper back. It was such a significant amount of hair, though she asked for just a trim. We both are Extremely dissatisfied. Shame on u lady. You shouldn't be in the service industry if you lack communication skills. She also cut my gf's hair facing away from the mirror so my girlfriend couldn't even see how much she was cutting off. That sounds deliberate, which infuriates me to think about. read more

I came to Aishas river stone at 6pm today knowing that they will be closing the store at 7pm. When I walked in I told one of the ladies there that I wanted my eyebrows and a quick trim if possible. She made me sit down because she does not do anything related to hair. The other employee there was with a client doing her eyebrows, and then later ended up doing her hair too. I ended up asking previous employee who greeted me if she could do my eyebrows after 10 minutes of waiting and she took me in. It was around 6:20 or so when it was my turn to get a hair trim from the other employee who was originally with a client. When I removed my hair from a bun she asked me if my hair was natural and I replied yes. I naturally have very thick curls and I am pretty used to people asking me if my hair is naturally this curly or not so I was not offended. She later proceeded to spray my hair down with water and took a thin combed brush in order to brush my hair. While she was doing this, I knew she was having difficulty in trying to get the curls looser. So she asked me "how do you want me to do this?", to which I had no response because I was under the assumption that when she saw my hair out before she attempted to do anything she would have an idea of whether or not she could do a trim or not. I was well aware of the time and how my hair was, therefore, even if she told me that hey this may take longer than 30 mins maybe we can give you an appointment tomorrow I would have completely understood where she was coming from. However, she proceeded to tell me that she cannot do this, "why is it like this?", I found these statements to be extremely hurtful. She went on to ask me if I ever comb my hair and why I don't comb my hair, etc. I told her that my hair if combed through will end up in frizz curls that are not formed. All i'm saying is if there is a service that cannot be accommodated or cannot be done due to whatever reason all the employee has to do is be vocal about it instead of making such rude comments. I went in today for an eyelash extension for my engagement and let the tech know it was my first time. She had me stare at an add on the wall while she applied my extensions unevenly and would periodically tell me not to blink. By the end of the appointment, she had glued my top and bottom eyelid together, placed my lashes on unevenly and left residue for the glue over a third of my eye. When I asked her to fix a few of the uneven lashes to close the gap between two that she placed, she complained and told me "I told you not to blink and you continuously blinked like a 20 year old child". I have never been treated so poorly at any establishment and will never be returning to Aishas. read more

The worse experiences I've had. The first time I walked in, the woman said hold on while she took a personal call and told me it would be a few minutes. As I was walking out she said I'm ready miss I can take you now. Second time I walked in on a Sunday at 5:44 pm just for upper lip the receptionist said I'm sorry we are closing soon we can't take you, you will be finishing after our closing time at 6 pm; we have several people ahead of you. There was nobody waiting and no one in the rooms. While I was there, they were turning several people down for eyebrow and threading services because they wanted to heat up their dinner. I would not recommend this salon. Great location but have responsible people who like to work and stand by your hours on the door. read more

Went to this location because my lady at my usual location was off today. I didn't catch the name of who did my brows because I was so angry that she cut me. I came here since it is right next door from my nail place and I thought perfect since I've gone to the location in Pearland and they've done well but nope that was a big mistake and I'll never be back. They lie too! I told the lady this isn't what I wanted I just wanted them cleaned up and she said I did clean them up. No ma'am I've gotten my eyebrows threaded for years and nothing but that and they have never been this ridiculously thin just for a clean up. I am from out of town and went to this place because my aunt said it was close by. The girl at the front desk was very nice, but the possibly the only one. The place looks modern and nice from the inside. They have sleek cabinets, floors, and countertops. While waiting I realized the entire place is covered in hair! Not a great first impression. Maybe sweep through before or after closing so it? I had spoken to someone on the phone and was given a price. Came in and I was given another lesser price. Awesome! After I finished the price went up because it took her longer. I can completely understand if the price is higher because I am larger than average girl. That is common for me. BUT, the whole time she's speaking in hindi assuming I don't understand. Boy was she being shady with figuring out how to charge me more. During the waxing session she missed so many spots and when I pointed it out, she said it's just my stretch marks and complained about my skin being dry. Uh no, it's not my skin it's missed spots with hair. Yes, my skin is dry to an extent. I work in a hospital where I wash my hands and arms upwards of 20x a day. Trust me, I get it. But as a customer don't constantly insult and remind me how bad it is for you to do your job. There were so many other issues that I just don't care to dive into. Great location but terrible place and terrible customer service. You would think for the area the place would actually be good but no it's not. Ive been coming here since they opened since it's close to my house. they didn't have my usual lady so I got my eyebrows threaded by Farhad. I asked for them to be cleaned and she made them EXTREMELY uneven. She took 20 min to do them and she made one thinner than the other. When I told her this her response was "no you are wrong and look at them again". You can clearly tell they are uneven and one is thinner than the other. She took too much off the bottom from the front. Completely uneven from the front. I have a wedding to attend and now my eyebrows are completely ruined and will take months to grow back. For the area I would expect more professional people that actually know how to thread eyebrows. This is not the first time they mess up my eyebrows. Oh my God, if I only could give a 0. This place is a mess, unprofessional and rude staff. Especially the young covered receptionist is unbelievably unprofessional. She started yelling at the lady, who was supposed to colour my hair, and making a fuss out of literally nothing. I said okey to everything she asked, I agreed to the colour they showed, the whole yelling thing at her own staff went for freaking 30 minutes. I was sitting there for 30 minutes and listening them yelling at each other. It made me very uncomfortable, I just had to leave. I could not stay there any longer. I'd better colour my own hair than make them do it and feel extremely uneasy and uncomfortable. The other lady called Gul is something. She makes customers so uncomfortable and talks waaay too much. I was a regular customer to Aishas since I moved to Houston. My go to aishas was hwy6 and williams trace location. I was happy to see aishas opened on university which is much closer to me. I went in there the week before for full hair color black and paid around 50$ for it. She let me go home with half wet hair. She was rushing since they need to close by 7 pm. After i completely dried my hair, my hair was patchy. It has black , brown and red colors. Frankly speaking my hair my more darker before the color itself. I was leaving on a trip the next day so didnt have time to reach out to Aishas regarding the disaster. I tried calling Aishas location after 5 days when i came back and explained the situation the lady asked me to come in, when i went there she said dual tones are in fashion why don't you keep it? She was also reluctant to correct it and says according to Aishas policy we cannot correct it after 5 days it should be the very next day and asked me to do retouch if I want to. She asked me to wait until chand rath tuesday as they will be opening until late night to come in for retouch. I went in that day eve and got retouch done and paid another 30$. Its the same situation again. After my hair was completely dried it started showing brown and red colors. I never had this situation even though i was coloring my hair since last 4 years. This is a miserable experience with Aishas. I dont know if it is the problem with the color or the aesthetician , but Aishas is going to lose many customers because of it. When i spread the message to my friends some of them were also experiencing the same situation. This might be a good place for eyebrows but not for color. read more

I scheduled an appointment online at Riverstone location for hair and eyebrows. I received about a dozen reminders which assured me I will receive the proper service. To my disappointment it was a mess when I arrived. My stylist was taking care of someone else 10 minutes past my appointment which is fine. Than I was offered if someone else can do my eyebrows so I said yes. Than the front desk lady started arguing with the person doing my eyebrows. The front desk lady was very unprofessional and continued threatening the stylist and very rude to her. I don't know who was right who was wrong but the front desk lady was more aggressive. I don't think there was a need for making a scene in front of all the customers. They could've taken the argument in the private. The stylist did a horrible job on my eyebrows. She did not clean my skin first as all professional salons do. I had several bleeding cuts on my eyelid and one on my temple. She did not even show me to see how my eyebrows look afterwards. After my eyebrows they told me Gulnar is doing facial on another customer and if Mahrukh can do my hair. I said no thanks and left without getting my hair done. This salon is in my neighborhood and very convenient but unfortunately I will never go there. It's a shame for such a nice salon with so many great services has such disappointing customer service. Today I went to this place to get my eyebrows done. Usually I go to the Aisha salon in Hwy 6, as this place has got so many bad reviews (but I go to this place once in a while as it is close to my house). First one lady started doing the eyebrows and didn't get the shape right even after several times I pointed out. So I had to go with another lady. OMG, I didn't realize she was worst than the previous one. Her name is Zakkra, (Name could be misspelled or that's what she told me). She started pulling my hair one by one, and trust me I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for more than 20 years and I know how good or bad ones threading style is. Right from the beginning she was wrong, she didn't wait for me to stretch my skin, her hands were shaking and on top of that pulling the hair 1 by 1 made me so uncomfortable. I asked her to stop and asked why she is doing so, and she said because I'm sensitive, didn't know how she came to that conclusion. Since I already wasted 30 mins in the salon, I had to walk out in the middle saying they did a sloppy job and I may not come back here again. For that, this lady Zakkra said "do not come, no problem". Here you go Zakkra and the Aisha salon, I'm never coming to your salon again. WORST service, inexperienced and rude people.
