This is the most honest mechanic I have met. My previous mechanic replaced my taillights with cheap parts that only lasted a few years. The nearby dealership wanted to charge me $1500 for a fix (which proved to be incorrect). If you are looking for an honest, good auto repair shop--this is the place! When Brian had to replace the ball joint in the left front tire, he also noticed the subframe was very rusted. I scheduled another appointment to have this repair done. He quoted me a price of around $500.00. Imagine my surprise to get a phone call from him a few days later to tell me there is a recall notice on the subframe and I could most likely get it replaced for free at the dealership. Homestead Auto was a horrible choice to take my husband's car. We spend over $900 to have him "fix" an oil leak. Not even one week later the add oil alert came back on. We called him and mentioned there was still a leak and we had to add more oil. Brian was rude and made it seem like a huge inconvenience. He tried saying he fixed the problem and now there has to be a new problem. There was oil leaking on the exact same spot and it continued to alert us every 500 miles to add oil....If you are so busy that you can't look at the "problem you fixed" then you need to staff accordingly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO HAVE TO FIX THE PROBLEM SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!! read more
