As you can all see, this guy doesn't accept feedback worth anything. One of the complaints I had was that his pricing was absurd. $750.00 for the installation of 2 thermostats, a ring video doorbell and a garbage disposal that I had already purchased the items for and would likely take him a whole 3 hours to do is ridiculous. I did not respond to his feedback because I did not feel that it warranted a response however I don't take too well to what is essentially him calling me a liar. I ended up doing the thermostats and doorbell myself, and got the wiring done for the garbage disposal from another electrician which cost me a whopping $150.00. Also... Distance to and from my house is irrelevant when you chose to come out that way and clearly have my house located in the area you serve. I wouldn't let this jerk wire a table lamp! He would be there in a hurry and charge about $800.00 an hour. Would pass any electrical codes in the US. Had him put in a new generator transfer switch and he stole the existing one, had him wire a hot tub, no permit was pulled. Had junction box right next to a garden hose spicket. Junction box was wet inside causing 60 amp breaker to trip. I think I will sue now that I have evidence that all his work was not to code and no permit was pulled. read more

I called four electricians, some of whom advertised on their web sites that they called back, AJ Electrical was the only one who actually did. He showed up on time for the appointment to give me a quote on the job - wall fishing cable lines to interior rooms, swapping out dimmer light switches, and installing outdoor electrical outlets. He listened to everything I wanted and made his recommendations where I was unsure. One request was particularly challenging (running the cable line to an interior first floor wall via a finished basement ceiling) and when we discussed how he could do it he exclaimed "I'm not a miracle worker!" I asked him to try his best. He gave me a written estimate with the caveat that it could be slightly higher depending on how long it took him on that one challenging cable line. He showed up for the appointment on time and I left to go to work, asking him to leave the bill and to lock up when done. When I got back that night everything was exactly as I asked and it turns out he is a miracle worker after all. He was able to run that cable line without cutting a single hole in the basement ceiling, the only hole he had to drill was behind a closet baseboard which I wouldn't have known had he not told me. The final bill was only a little over his original estimate. He called that evening to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I would hire him again for any electrical work and have already recommended him to family and friends. read more

This is one guy you want to stay away from. He wired my house and mixed 10 gauge with 12 gauge, broke one leg on a 220 watt water heater so someone could have gotten killed. There were so many code violations, I had to take him to court. Yes, I won. read more
