Poor customer service. I walked into the store and 3 sales people were on the phone which is understandable. So I waited and one woman was done and got up to walk past me, but I stopped her and asked for the salesperson I wanted and she pointed to him and kept going. Poor customer service!! Once I spoke to the sales person who at the store was very nice and helpful. I ordered my Wolf double ovens, he said he would get back to me once he found out if one was in stock. He didn't get back to me so 3 days later I called him and he said he would look into and call me back, he never did. I found one in stock elsewhere and ordered from them and canceled my order with AJ Madison. Suddenly I got an email from the salesperson to say he had one, but I had already canceled. Absolutely terrible experience. I purchased a Fisher & Paykel refrigerator from AJ Madison spending $3200, thinking I was ordering from a reputable company. I couldn't have been more wrong. For that price, you'd expect a smooth, professional experience. Instead, what I got was a nightmare. When ordering a refrigerator you have to purchase a waterline and then delivery charge--thinking that meant installation too. Apparently not. Buried in the print is a requirement to pay extra for installation. That's on me for missing it, but come on--$3,200 and they drop the fridge in your house and leave? The delivery guys literally brought it in, pointed out that the water line I was required to purchase didn't even fit the fridge, tossed the trash in my driveway, and left. I contacted customer service via chat who informed me that installation wasn't included and claimed that all water lines sold by AJ Madison are compatible with every refrigerator. I sent photos proving otherwise. Only then did she admit there was a problem and offered a return label--but no solution or support to actually get the right part or help me get the fridge installed. When I asked if they could recommend certified installers (since Fisher & Paykel requires certified techs to avoid voiding the warranty), I was told installation would cost another $100 and an additional $125 for dispatching a team to my location. I ended the chat. I then reached out to see if they had a company I could contact to come handle the installation and was told by another agent that they did not have certified Fisher & Paykel technicians, they use "handy-men". In the end, I had to find a Fisher & Paykel-certified professional on my own and pay out of pocket just to get the appliance I already spent over $3,000 on up and running. DO NOT ORDER FROM AJ MADISON. Their customer service is unhelpful, their communication is misleading, and their policies are designed to nickel and dime customers at every step. read more

Customer service, delivery, and scheduling is a torturous multiparty painful experience, including an overseas call center. Completely inappropriate for a dealer of appliances in these price ranges. As an example. It's apparently normal to schedule delivery and inflation as early as 6:30 AM, and if you miss the exact time they arrive by 30 min (within a 4 hour window), be prepared for a $425 delivery charge. No that is not a typo Never ever again, and will make sure every single person I know is aware of this POS business and their practices. read more

AJ Madison is such a great location. The selection is incredible. Literally have everything you could want. The sales reps are super nice and very knowledgeable. Please, please do not purchase appliances from AJ Madison. I purchased a dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator from this company. Although, I inspected the product as instructed, if you miss reporting damage, you have no recourse. AJ Madison will not replace the item or refund your monies. You will be left with a irreparable appliance. You are better off purchasing your appliances from Lowes', Home Depot or Costco, these companies will repair, replace and or refund your monies. There is absolutely, no customer service after the sale from AJ Madison. I repeat there is no customer service after the sale from AJ Madison. Great experience in the showroom BUT after purchasing dishwasher and oven range on 6/15/25, I have yet to receive a call for a delivery date. Emails from AM Home Delivery indicated estimated delivery to be 6/20/25 to 6/27/25. When I looked up the Tracking details, it indicated the appliances arrived in Hamilton, NJ on 6/17/25. In NJ!!? This was the first time I was made aware that the appliances were actually located out of state. I expressed my frustration to the Sales Advisor, Tom, in an email on 6/25/25 about my dissatisfaction with not being informed of a more accurate delivery date, the fact that the appliances were not local but in NJ and the excessive wait for arrival and he responded indicating it normally takes 10 days to 2 weeks for delivery and he would look into it. I did not hear back from him. When I looked up tracking again, I saw that it arrived in Clarkston, GA on 6/27/25 (10 days to get from NJ to GA). I did not get a call to schedule delivery. I reached back out to Tom on 6/30/25 (day 15) expressing my frustration and I have not heard back from him. It's 7/1/25 and I still have not been called to confirm a delivery date. Based on my experience so far, I would not recommend AJ Madison. I ignored the bad reviews for customer service, delivery and scheduling and am regretting it now. The day I made my purchase, 6/15/25, I told Tom that I had been without an oven for over a week and needed it asap. He made it seem like he escalated it during the purchase processing so I was expecting it to arrive the following week (keep in mind I was under the impression the appliances were local). I have been without an oven for almost a month now. Funny I only went in to purchase a Bosch oven and ended up with a Cafe oven and dishwasher, spending twice as much as I initially intended. My fault for allowing myself to be swayed, but I expected better service than this. I wished I would have gone to Home Depot, instead. I chose AJ Madison because they had a "local" store and they told me they handled any repair or warranty issues with their own service specialists. After rereading all the negative reviews regarding those issues, I feel doomed. So unhappy with this purchase experience. It doesn't help that my kids ask almost daily when will the oven arrive so we can bake something again. This company is terrible on all ends. Our order was upward of $50000 and the experience has been horrendous. That's really an understatement if I'm being honest. Upon arrival, no one is really in rush to help you. Let's be honest, these appliances (Wolf, Sub-Zero, Cove) sell themselves. The "saleperson" is really there to guide you, nothing more. Once the sale was complete and the BS delivery date given, grab a calendar and wait. Because they will BS you and tell you whatever you want to hear as a way of pasifying you. Call too many time and you'll get no answer. They are a certified, in person, applicance brochure. NOTHING MORE! I should have known when I saw an all male staff selling products that mostly appeal to our wives. And I'm a guy making this statement. I will never again buy appliances from AJ Madison let alone buy appliances from men when the appliances appeal mostly to women. And not because I'm some type of masogynist. I'm a realest. DO NOT PATRONIZED THIS PLACE. You will be disappointed beyond your wildest imagination. Sales person Sam and Manager Malcolm will tell you one lie after the next. If you have a deadline or appliances needed, do not order appliances from AJJ Madison. Customer service is very poor to not existent and no follow through with your orders. We ordered top end appliances, two months in advance of our contractors Scheduled date for appliances to be installed . My salesman continue to confirm with me that all of our appliances were in and the installing company is scheduled to install on our date. I called the installing company two days prior they never heard of us . Rescheduled for installing appliances a week later. Salesman continue to confirm with me that all of our appliances and accessories were in.. They were not. Our salesman did not even know that our range hood never got ordered. In all of my emails and phone conversations with him, he never checked on any of our appliances where they were and if they had arrived. We got the name of the hood provider and worked with him directly to get our hood here weeks later. my accessories were never ordered originally . When the accessories came, they were the wrong part. We contacted the main office for AJ Madison and never got a single email or phone call. No help there. Aftet spending $38,000 on 3 appliances, We just had to take care of things on our own. read more
