Despite the change in firms, I experienced the same pattern: unanswered calls and messages, no meaningful updates, and no clear explanation of the status of my case. As a client, I have a reasonable expectation of timely communication, transparency, and diligence none of which have been provided. This matter has now spanned several years, and being repeatedly ignored has caused unnecessary stress and concern about whether my case is being properly handled. An attorney has an ethical obligation to keep clients informed and to act with reasonable promptness. In my experience, those obligations were not met. I strongly advise anyone considering this firm to get all communication expectations in writing and to keep detailed records. If communication and representation standards are not upheld, remember that filing a complaint with the State Bar is an available and appropriate course of action. I will be filing a bar complaint myself.

Although the complaint itself was well written, it was filed with the wrong court and contained an incorrect address. I was never informed of this mistake and had to discover it on my own. Correcting the issue required a change of venue, which cost me significant time and money for an error that was not mine. Communication throughout the case was inconsistent. At times, staff were responsive and reassuring; at other times, follow-up emails went unanswered and seemed to fall through the cracks. When I informed the firm that the opposing party was making threatening communications, my concerns did not appear to be taken seriously. After deciding to retain new counsel, I was surprised by how aggressively this firm interacted with my new attorney during the transition. Even more concerning, when my case files were transferred, I was mistakenly sent documents belonging to a different client. This raised serious concerns about their internal controls and confidentiality practices. I was also charged approximately $600 for work the firm claimed had been completed but which was never included in the file transfer. When I requested a refund, I was told the work had been done and that I would need to absorb the cost, despite having to pay my new attorney to redo it. Overall, this firm's lack of organization and efficiency ended up costing me more time, money, and stress than necessary. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend shopping around for other firms, even if they are located outside the Pasadena area.

My parents are both now in their 80's and my dad was recently diagnosed with initial stages of Dementia, I live out of state and so have limited time when visiting to take care of necessary matters. Each of these elements Larry took into consideration from the very first interaction we had with him. Our matter was a bit unique as we needed a "Re-Statement" of my parents Trust. (if you don't know what this means, Larry will take the time to fully explain this and ANY other questions you have). In Late 2020, well before we ever signed up with Larry, he was gracious and interacted with us as if we were his favored client. In 2021 when our lives settled down just a bit we were able to move forward with the restatement of my parents Trust. Larry gave his undivided attention in our initial consultation with him in his office and got everything understood and all questions we had answered. Following the first meeting the beneficiaries and the Trustees needed some additional "thinking" on the part of my Mom. After many hours on this, she had it set and we conveyed her wishes to Larry; our write-up of this to Larry read like a Dr. Sues short story but Larry missed NOTHING and got it all understood exactly as she desired it to be. As noted, I'm out of town and when I come into Los Angeles my time is very limited, Larry literally altered his own plans to go into the office when he was not scheduled for solely to accommodate our needs and my tight schedule. He took extra time to go over EVERY piece of paper he prepared for my parents new/re-stated Trust and had it all prepared so all that was needed, after his review was for signatures to be applied. *NOW, with regards to my dad, he's no longer able to act on such matters, and with dementia he's not the man he once was, can have outbursts and is forgetful. Larry, ever the gentleman, still included my dad in the process, interacted with him as he would any other client, and made him feel like he mattered. AND, if you do use Larry, he might tell you that even with all the work he does people are still most blown away with the binder he puts all the documents in at the very end. Yep, Totally Impressive. He had a binder ready, with my parents name embossed on it ready to go at the very end. I mention this just to tie it all together showing Larry is at the VERY Top of his Game. Use Larry, you'll see what I'm talking about. I know I've not done justice to what we experienced working with Larry, but let me wrap it up with this. My Mom told a friend this, "if I needed to do it all over again and had an opportunity to choose from ALL the attorneys that could have done our Trust, I'd still have chosen Larry, without question". *it also worth noting here in the end, that when it comes time for the Trust to be acted upon, help will in those difficult hours be needed. Larry assured us that he would be ready for such a call, and on that day I know that he will be equally gracious to walk us through the steps that then need to be done. Doing a Trust is not fun but it is a Must . I had a brief taste of wha it is like to have nothing in order when my Mom almost died, nothing was in order , I wasn't the power of attorney my Dad had just passed who was Power of attorney my Mom wasn't able to make a decision to appoint a new one it was a night mare to say the least. So I won't ever be put in that position again. Larry made the experience pleasurable and he was very thorough not only did I leave with a piece of mind I left feeling educated and understanding the process where last time I did this all though I knew I needed it I did not have that peace of mind and after sitting down with Larry and going through the process with him, I also knew my last Trust and Will was not even close to complete. Larry was absolutely fantastic in helping my wife and me in preparing our Estate Plan. He was able to accommodate our schedules by making an in-home visit for our first meeting, which was something that none of the 3 other bids offered, and very responsive to my emails and calls. BTW, I encourage you to compare at least 2 other attorneys' rates and customer service and I'm sure you'll choose Larry in a heartbeat. Planning for your family's long-term security can be tough because of the hard decisions you have to make now but having a personable guy like Larry helps to break things down with easily understandable scenarios. On January 19, 2022 I had a $250 consultation meeting with Arminé Barsegyan to inquire on how to evict a current tenant of ours who has been harassing, terrorizing, and threatening our other tenants in our rental property. I explained to her that we did not know what we were doing and needed help because our tenant is disturbing the peace and safety of our home and adversely affecting our other tenants who live there During the meeting I went over our issues with our tenant. I also asked multiple times if Ms. Barsegyan was sure she can evict our tenant during the eviction moratorium. Ms. Barsegyan told us with all the evidence I presented that we have a good case to evict our tenant. On February 2, 2022, The Dijulio law group sent us a $1500 retainer agreement for their help to evict our tenant. I thought I'd get the help she promised in the consultation meeting, but once I paid the $1500 it was impossible to get any thing done and get in touch with Ms. Barsegyan. On February 10, 2022 Ms. Barsegyan finally sent me a 24 our notice of periodic property inspection and instructions to post on my tenants room door. On February 11, 2022. I attempted to perform the property inspection, however our tenant outright refused. I then called Ms. Barsegyan, and she told me she couldn't evict for denial of entry, and there was nothing to do. Later that day my father called Ms. Barsegyan and she explained to my dad that she couldn't do much and that we had to file and Restraining Order to try to get our tenant out. When my dad asked for help with the restraining order she then told my dad they would CHARGE ANOTHER RETAINER for them to help us with the restraining order. My dad not pleased with that asked to speak with Mr. Dijulio, and She told my dad that Mr. Dijulio was going to call him the following Monday (2/14/22). On February 17, 2020, after multiple attempts of trying to reach the Dijulio law firm, Mr.Dijulio finally called my father and told my dad that they were not able to evict our tenant. We terminated the retainer after that conversation, and asked for a refund because they didn't do anything to help us, however, Mr. Dijulio refused saying they used all of the $1500. On March 3, Mr. Dijulio sent me a threatening email. He claimed that we tried to evict our tenant for being black -- which he knew was a lie, as we were evicting our tenant for physically threatening others in the house. Mr DiJulio then threatened to take us to court for an online review my dad posted about his firm. He actually threatened us with a Black Lives Matter Protest at our front door, which is ridiculous because I am minority too and our other tenants are also African American. This is VERY offensive. Not only did he lie about my motives -- he outright threatened me David Dijulio and Arminé Barsegyan are unprofessional, unethical, and dishonest, but what do you expect from attorneys that graduated from a bottom tier unranked law school? Would you want a lawyer who screws his own clients?

Arminé Barsegyan, the lawyer in your office told us that she can help us evict our tenant. Armine said that she will email us a notice to put on the tenant's door. The notice was supposedly to inspect the tenant's room. When the tenant refused to open her room for inspection, we called Armine and asked her what to do next. She told me to file a TRO against the tenant so that I don't have to pay. Then she refused to answer my calls and never call us back again. Instead, Dijulio himself called me and said that because of covid they can not help me. Now you tell me who is telling the truth. We will file a formal complaint to the State Bar of California about you. Shame on you. Below is Dijulio's email: He is now making up a story about person of color etc. He also mentioned about relocation fee. Armina nor Dijulio never discussed any relocation fee with us. We paid $250 for consultation fee with Armine then we paid $1500 retainer fee. Once we gave them the money, then they told us that because of covid they can not do anything to help us.

When I've tried calling and asking to speak to someone, I'm immediately transferred to voicemail or my number is screened and directly sent to voicemail.
