My laptop suddenly wouldn't download anything. I tried doing everything I knew to fix it but I couldn't. I had a deadline to meet and called AJCCtech. I've taken my computers to them several times before. I was anxious to get it working as I had to have something ready for the next day. They called me right back, and they checked it over the secure app but it was beyond that. But they told me to bring it into the store right away. Contacted AJCCTECH via Yelp messages to see if they could create a bootable USB thumb drive with Windows 10 installation media for a "new" build on an older mother board. Adam wrote back with a few clarifying questions, and made and tested the boot drive for me to pick up ASAP! Ended nearly 2 weeks of frustration creating my own on the only other computer I have at home - wife's Macbook Air. Previous to Adam, I tried the Geek Squad (avoid at all cost!!) and other local computer repair shops who didn't really take the time to understand what I wanted/needed and unsurprisingly quoted a ton of $$$$ for a simple USB boot disk. These guys are exceptional. My Internet Explorer browser had been hijacked by by some outside application. I went to two other repair places - one chain store and one local. Both places charged me - neither one fixed the problem, and the local guy said after having the machine for a week, "I hate Microsoft. Take your machine and get out." Looking to repair my laptop keyboard, I messaged different businesses on Yelp. Adam replied very quickly and gave me a very reasonable price and said he could get the part within a few days. I asked him to order the part and once it had arrived, he gave me a call to bring in my laptop. This was very convenient because other businesses were asking me to bring in the laptop so they could examine it for a few hours and then order the part. I just don't have the time to do that because of my busy schedule, so having Adam order the parts without bringing my laptop in was one of the main reasons why I went to him. Once I brought my laptop in for repair, he only took an hour to repair it, which was no problem at all because I ran all my errands during that time. Now, my keyboard is fixed and I can resume my duties. I am also appreciative that he cleaned my laptop afterwards since it was pretty dirty prior to the repair. As for Adam's character, he is an honest and kind business man. He has no intention to squeeze every penny out of you. The bottom shell of my laptop has been broken for a while, so I asked Adam how much it would cost to repair as well. After he provided me an estimate, he was honest and told me it probably wasn't worth it because I have other things wrong with my computer (i.e. broken USB ports). He told me it would be in my best interest to use this laptop until I get a new one in 2018 (which I intended to do) since the cosmetic wear would not do anything to my laptop's functionality. I had a good discussion with him regarding which laptop brands to look into and he was able to answer my questions regarding computer terminology. I saved his number to my contact list because he told me to message him any time I have questions and when I start looking for a new laptop to buy. Also, he took the time to get to know me as an individual. We discussed what kind of law I'm interested in pursuing and a whole lot of other things. If that isn't great customer service and genuine kindness, then I don't know what is. I highly recommend others to get their computers repaired here, as I will be coming back whenever I have computer-related problems. read more

The DVD player on my computer wouldn't play my DVDs so I called this business among others. Adam told me over the phone what the possible causes of the problem are and gave an approximate price for each scenario. The typical business would rather say "I won't be able to tell you unless I see it". When I got there Adam found out that the problem was something simple, so he fixed it in two minutes and he did not charge me. I can't believe how helpful these guys were! I had an old HP tower, which finally gave out. When I told them I needed something inexpensive, they sold me some used equipment very cheaply. I'm up and running again, & couldn't be happier. Adam patiently loaded up the disc drive from my old drive, & even downloaded some programs I needed. He ordered a new AC adapter for the laptop I picked up, and offered to burn a disc for my printer. I haven't seen service like this in a long time, & I'll certainly let everybody know about them. It's definitely worth noting that there were no extra charges, and they did not charge me for looking at my old computer. I really appreciated that he was very flexible as we figured out whether it was best for my schedule to meet him at my place or for me to go to his shop. It was most convenient for me to go there, so he waited in the office after closing while I sat in traffic coming from work.
