This is your typical McDonald's that you will find inside an airport. Long lines with higher prices than a non-airport location. Despite this choosing McDonald's can be an easy choice because you kinda know exactly what you'll get as long as no mistakes are made. Thankfully during my wife and my time visiting here we got our food with no mistakes. Also it came out hot and quickly. Could not really ask for anything else. Due to the higher prices than usual (which mind you are high anyways nowadays) three stars is a fitting rating. Service and quality was good for us but I suspect it will be extremely variable depending on the time and day. read more

The lines can be super long for this location, probably because it's the most familiar restaurant in the food court. Plus... all the kids...? Yeah, they're going to want McDonald's. The service isn't anything to write home about, but if you use the kiosk or app, it doesn't matter. Plus, they're super-busy all the time, so don't expect the friendliest smiles all day long. I know what you're thinking. A five star rating? For a McDonalds? In an airport? Yes. They earned it. Like most Americans, I have been to far too many McDonalds over the years. But when you're at the airport early in the morning and need something to eat, what are ya gonna do? The crazy thing is, the employees at this location rocked! They were extremely quick and efficient. Not only was unable to order quickly, despite a super long line (I had time), but order pick up is also a well oiled machine here! The employees promptly prepared each order, clearly called out the order number, and had it prominently displayed so I could ensure I got the right order. Extremely efficient - especially considering how stupid busy this McD's is! Here's the kicker. Not only was the order fast, but it was correct! And beyond that, it was fresh and tasty! I have never rated a fast food restaurant because I never expect much but this place was amazing, as was Dalen, the polite young man that waved us over to alert us that his register was open. We then settled in for what we knew was going to be a long wait, but less than 60 seconds later they called our number! Then I went to get my drink and they were out of diet Dr Pepper. I let them know figuring I would need to find something else, but within 60 seconds, they had replaced the diet Dr Pepper! this place took a page out of Chick Filet's book! Is it a McDonald's in an airport? It damn sure is. Am I about to review a McDonald's in an airport? I damn sure am. This place is usually busy..like this place is typically packed. My advice: download and order via the McDonald's app. That sucker is gonna save you so much time. On top of time saved, it allows customization options that you normally wouldn't be able to see if ordering at the counter. I know, it can be dicey specialty ordering at a McDonald's but I will say luck has been mostly on my side ordering customized items via the app at this location. The one time there was an error in my order the staff was super apologetic and quick to get the order corrected. So yes, it's an airport McDonald's so adjust your expectations accordingly. Also heed my advice above-download and order via the app or chances are you'll have quite the wait ahead of you and a vastly different experience than I. read more

I'm not a huge fan of McDonald's to begin with, but when you are limited in choices to eat from, you just cave and go with the flow. After getting to the airport, standing in the lines for check in, standing in lines for the security check point, standing in lines to catch the tram, standing on the tram...I looked at the options and saw that this was the quickest moving line that would minimize the standing I have already done. The menu is limited seeing that it is in an airport. The pricing is a bit higher since it is in an airport. But the service was super quick. From the time that I ordered and the time I had my food in my hand, it was like three minutes top. Bravo on that. The food is what you would expect from McDonald's. I had the Big Mac meal. The fries might have had a bit too much salt, but it is what it is. This fit the need I had at that point. read more

This was one of the rudest experiences I've ever had at a McDonalds, and let's be honest, as a company for which I used to also work, they don't set their bar very high. Long wait line to order, not their fault. Food was lukewarm, at best. Lady cleaning the soda area told me I could not set my coffee down while I grabbed cream and sugars, even though the order counter told me to get them there and I had a coffee in one hand and my bag of food in the other. She Proceeds to move my cup spilling, with the lid popping off and spilling scorching hot coffee on my hand. And then the manager acted surprised when I complained because the other lady crushed my cup when she moved it and the lid fell off (hence the coffee boiled in hell burning the crap out of my hand). There weren't a lot of choices in this airport wing, but I'd suggest any other restaurant in here over this one. read more

This is possibly one of the best McDonalds I've eaten at. It's in the A terminal gates 79 to 159 food court area when you get off the little monorail train. The tables close to Chipotle and McDonalds have outlets so you can charge your electronics and phones. I had the Guacomole Pico burger with an Artisan roll,sandwich only for $5.49. This was terrible. It was the first day of having the squish mellow on the happy meal. None. They even have it on the box of the possible ones you could get. The coke and sprite were also very bland and water downed. It also says no sauce but they never asked what sauce we could have with our food. Date: October 14, 2022 I visited this McDonald's location on the third floor at Orlando International Airport (MCO) at 9223 Jeff Fuqua Boulevard, Orlando, Florida this morning. I have been giving this location my business frequently lately. However, this morning I encountered an issue with the McDonald's app not working properly. The acting Manager on duty this morning, Horaine (might be misspelled) stated to me on the morning of October 11, 2022, that should the app encounter issues, that the restaurant can still honor the deal, as long as I show that I'm an active app User. However, this morning the app was encountering the same issue. I addressed the issue again with Horaine, but he refused to give me the Deal that I proved to him via the app, which was not loading the QR Code. Rather than be professional and remedy the situation, Horaine threatened to call the police, simply for me stating what he told me two days prior about honoring app deals when the app wouldn't work properly. This type of mistreatment should be grounds for immediate termination. These restaurant owners are allowing their employees to abuse and mistreat Customers, while they profit to the extreme. read more

I ordered a sausage McMuffin with no egg. When I got it, it had no cheese. I brought it back, the manager said they don't come with cheese. I said yes they do and he argued with me about it. I know as I have worked at McDs for years in the past. He eventually gave me a new one with cheese. I know this is no big deal but give me a break. How can you be a manager and NOT know the menu as basic as it is. After I ate it, I opened McDonalds.com on my iPad, brought up the menu, and there it is, a picture of it with cheese. I went back to the manager with my iPad, showed him and he said "whatever, I'm busy". Its embarrasing enough being a man in his 50's or so and being a McDonalds employee.
