I immediately messaged my Dasher but never received a response. When I called Drake's in Danville, I was hoping they could simply help make it right. Instead, they completely exceeded my expectations. The manager sincerely apologized, had a fresh burger made immediately, and then HE personally drove it to my home to make sure I had my meal while it was still hot. That level of customer care is incredibly rare today and says everything about the kind of leadership and team Drake's has. Ironically, after everything had already been resolved, my Dasher finally replied saying I would need to contact the restaurant, even though I had left a generous holiday tip. Mistakes happen, but what truly matters is how a business responds. Drake's turned a disappointing situation into one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. Everything was delicious but the portion size of the poke bowl was a bit smaller than I was used to. On our second visit we sat on the covered patio and ordered the club sandwich and tenders meal.
