This spot checked all of the classic diner, breakfast boxes. A simple and straightforward menu, no frills, atmosphere, great service, and budget friendly breakfast options all day. I loved the cozy vibe of the booths and the long counter. The staff was super sweet in handling our group of six despite the tables only fitting four. Inn no ordered two eggs with pepper jack cheese added alongside wheat toast and hash browns. All were delicious and exactly what I hoped for -- and only $6-$7 for the meal. This little place was great! We stopped by while on vacation for breakfast. It has any of your common items like eggs, pancakes, French toast (no grits though). But the service was great! Food was cooked perfectly. Bacon and sausage were fresh and coffee was good. We went back twice while visiting. Will return each year for good solid breakfast. Breakfast stop from Ohio back to Indy, just 3 mi s. off exit 165a in Richmond. Cute little diner. About half a dozen counter stools and booths. I got my food to go since I had my dog in the car. Took about 15 min, but was brought out to me with a "thank you, my pleasure" nice service. I got the ham egg and cheese on an English muffin, and a small biscuits and gravy. Seems like I've been ordering these a lot at places lately! Food was plentiful. Muffin was just a tad scorched but not enough that I cared. Tons of ham on the sandwich. Stopped here yesterday morning for a quick breakfast with a friend on a trip to Ohio. We stopped here because it had four stars on yelp! Those 4 stars were well deserved! The restaurant was busy enough that we sat at the counter. We were greeted immediately and we were able to order very quickly. The veggie omelette we shared was absolutely perfect made fresh and just enough. We both prefer dry toast without butter and it was delivered exactly as we asked and the Ryebread it was toasted was hot & tasty! Nice local diner. We had a good breakfast and enjoyed watching and listening to the locals discuss who was planting what and when. The place isn't large, but we were able to get right in. The test of the morning for us was figuring out how to get into the parking lot, since you can't pull in from Main and we were coming in from the west it took a bit of alley driving. read more

This is an old school breakfast diner. Good honest food with very few frills. Reasonably Priced and great service. Didn't want a chain, just a omelet and a cup of coffee from an small business where you can see the person cooking. I have to be gluten free so I bring my own bread and they toasted it for me - bonus. I was traveling and this place is a couple of miles off of I70 but worth the few minutes drive. This is a little obscure breakfast/brunch diner. And it is the perfect spot for both!! I've been trying to find a good breakfast spot in this area and this is it! The pancakes are spot on and the BLTs are yummy! The pancakes are a decent size nice and fluffy with a tender texture. If you are in the area and are looking for somewhere good for breakfast you need to try it out. You won't leave displeased. The service is fast and friendly! Now I want to mention the restaurant is self is small but you shouldn't have to wait too long however. And a tip for hash brown fans they aren't listed under the sides on the menu but you can have them just ask. read more

The coffee tasted like they waved the bag of coffee over the pot, the sausage was half warm and the eggs rubbery.... we also waited almost 40 minutes for two very simple orders. We went for breakfast, and it was so good! Found a spot to sit immediately (it was about 8:30 on a Saturday so maybe that wasn't quite the breakfast rush). We had delicious chocolate/white chocolate chip pancakes; biscuits and gravy; and egg omelette with Swiss and bacon. All of the food was amazing! The service was wonderful and so fast! Open on Sunday's was a big plus and the food I did eat (Coffee, Cheese Omelet, hash browns with dry English muffin) was very good. Husband's choice was excellent as well. Nice and attentive servers. Atmosphere is clean & fresh, a notable change from the previous owners. I no longer worry that I will smell like old cooking grease when I leave. A minor issue is with the Menu which is confusing. Just needs to clearly state descriptions & choices on the menu. Apparently most items are ala carte. But it is not clear when reading it - maybe just confusing to out of towners like me. Don't Omletes or eggs usually include hash browns unless it stars they are ala carte? I didn't see hash browns or potatoes listed anywhere on the menu, even as an option or extra. After I got my plate, I was surprised & then had to ask for them, and waited while my Omlete cooled down. Then I had to wait again because my "dry, unbuttered English muffin" had to be replaced because it came with so much butter, it dripped onto the table when I picked it up. The on the Extras: Meat list "Tenderloin" is listed as a choice... I was going to get the bacon which I know is excellent but was craving some beef & it sounded good... I ordered the "tenderloin" and asked that it be cooked medium rare... I love steak & eggs and was looking forward to a small piece of "beef" tenderloin. What arrived was a pounded (?) flat, white, piece of leather that was so tough & bland, I was unable to eat it. I am sure it was not even a tenderloin cut of pork. Thankfully my husband had ham and shared with me. Overall the service and food, once I got what I wanted, was good and filling. read more
